This is a really easy to use eyeliner that gives straightforward precision results. I was a bit concerned that it was a sponge tipped applicator, as they are smudgy, in my experience, which isn't the effect I want.This is just like using a felt tipped pen however - the line it creates when held at the correct angle is clean and well defined. I've seen and used finer tipped liners but this scores for not smudging.I don't know whether it was just me but I found the shade of black to be slightly more charcoal and greyish than a true black - I'm not going to knock a star off for that, though as it may be my perception peering in the mirror. The gold case is beautifully elegant and attractive in your make up bag or on your bedside table.

According to my test subject (mum!) This is really decent eyeliner. Application is fairly easy for those with some (even a little) liquid eyeliner experience. I find like this felt tip distributes product very well and it doesn't move product around like others on the market. I get thin or thick black black black lines. I do think the point could be a little finer, for that very fine line on the inside corner and for that beautiful fine flick, but it is still a good product. It's not quite a true black colour though, it can look a little greyish. The packaging looks lovely and the brush is solid and relatively easy to apply, but as mentioned. It's little large. All in all,

My review is for the Super Liner Eyeliner Ultra Precision as it would appear a few different style eyeliners have been put together on the same page.This is a classic old style liquid eyeliner that has a soft tip and can be used for dramatic lines on the upper lid. The eyeliner is a liquid eyeliner and so not as easy to apply as an eyeliner pencil and can take a bit of practice to get right if you aren't used to it. The liner is a deep black and can be either applied as a thin line or built up to a thicker and darker one. The container has been shaped so this fits very nicely in your hand and the liner can be used for 6months from the time of opening.

The product was tested by my wife who provided feedback for this review.Firstly the I did not receive the black coloured pencil in the picture but a bronze/gold coloured one. The slim pencil design means that it can be easily tucked away in a bag, pocket or purse. The slim profile along with the fine precision applicator allows very easy and accurate application of the eyeliner, with excellent results. Whilst the eyeliner does flow quite well and coverage is gernerally very good, due to the fine applicator you sometimes need to go over once or twice for proper. The tip is extra fine to allow for even more precision of lines.

We’ve been using this eye liner for several weeks and some family members who are good at applying liner are big fans. The nib is like a long soft flexible marker pen. It delivers a good amount of product to the end to easily paint an even line. Compare to other more rigid eye liners it’s a lot blacker, great for that Cleopatra look. For those of us who are less skilled this is much better than kohl pencils if you want a fine line, but if you don’t have a steady hand then the more rigid marker style liners may be a better choice.For any one who does kiddy face painting I’d recommend this for those delicate touches to tiger faces and the like.

It takes a bit of practice to get a good flicky eye and even more practice to get two matching ones! I recommend the tutorials of Sali Hughes, The Guardian's beauty writer. Thanks to her I put on a base of eye pencil first, which means that the liquid eye liner is easier to apply. The huge benefit of a liquid eye liner is that once set it has great lasting power and provide the retro look that an eye pencil or gel liner somehow don't. The sponge nib of this liner can be use either as a very fine point or to flare out to thicker line and provides a high degree of control. The liner itself is a good highly pigmented black and sets and wears well.

I'm giving this 5 stars as the brush, which has a long foam tip, is just so good and not of a type I've seen before. It makes applying the eyeliner really easy and you can get an even line far easier than with a paint brush style brush; it's just the right blend of flexible and stiff.The liner is a true black and has good staying power whilst being easy to remove. I find I can get really precise results with it despite not normally being great at applying liner.Mine came in lovely gold packaging and not the black shown. It has a little ball in it when you shake it to stop the contents clogging. All in all probably as good as any I've used.

L'oreal has done yet another quality product, and i'm proud to wear it. I used this as make up for Captain jack and i love how it made my eyes look just like Jack's in the Pirates films. It is a SUPER liner and i think i have found my perfect liner that i will use throughout from now on.The colour is the perfect kind of Black that i love, and really brought out my eyes. The application is smooth and covers very well indeed. Some people think it could be more finer, but it seems to be the perfect kind of fine for me. As for the presion of the tip/brush, its great to use and gets where you really want without overlacking or smudging.

This is one of my favourite high street eyeliners. I've tried a number of them before and absolutely love it. It has light texture but very well pigmented and lasts well through the day. The felt tip allows for precise application but at the same time makes very little mess unlike the really fine brushes. It's an excellent product for the price and I would definitely keep buying it. I have a Lancome Art Liner, which has a similar felt tip. It costs almost 4 times as much and I don't at all see what justifies the cost as L'Oreal one definitely performs just as well, if not better.

(From my teen daughter)The design of this liner's tip does make the creation of eyeliner 'wings' easier, but is no better than any other at putting liner along the lash line proper. The colour is strong, so multiple applications (and the risk of going outside the lines) are not required. The liner dries quickly and doesn't smudge easily, but it is easy to remove when required.Anyone who has used liquid eyeliners before will not be surprised by the packaging consisting of a very large lid and a very small reservoir of eyeliner, but the price is competitive.

Black eyeliner with a nice long application wand for those who struggle with the stubby less ergonomic types. Brush Is nice and thin but is like a brushy in that the bristles will actually splay out a little and give you a wider line if you prefer (depending on pressure and technique). I mention this as most eyeliners these days seem to prefer the applicator that looks and feels like a felt tip nib dipped in ink.Stays on for hours without fading or running and came off fairly easy when I used nothing more than water and a little face wash.

Plusses: easy to apply, good clear line without much tugging, stays put reasonably well throughout the day.Minuses: gel tip tends to dry out before one eye is finished, so you have to screw it back into the holder to get more liner to complete; claims to be smudge-proof, but this is probably only true if you never rub your eyes (never mind tearing up, getting rained on, etc)Good though. It probably wouldn't be my top choice, but it's as good or better than many liners I have tried.

For those looking for a inky liner then this is a great product. The tip is thin allowing you to create thin lines and build up gradually to your desired thickness. One small downside was that I found the ink ran out quite quickly and therefore you'd have to go in again to build up the colour. It isn't the quickest eye liner products to use but if you have the time to shape and re-apply your liner then this is a good choice.Lovely packaging and feel to the product.

This is a great liquid eyeliner with good pigmentation and staying power too. I tend to prefer a felt tip style nib over a brush and this is indeed a felt nib style and thinner than my trusty go to brand. The small nib enables me to do thin liner across the lid but also a thicker line and a controlled flick too. The liner lasted well but was also removed easily with a warm flannel and water. I highly recommend this product and it may well be my new go to eyeliner.

There is no substitute for a balanced hand and it's worth having a table or surface to balance your elbow on whist sweeping the brush across the lid- this is a five liner with a fibre tip rather than brush so better for a fine line under or over lid- if you want a bigger thicker wider infill like miss wine house it's often easier to use a more fluid product which you can paint with. Easy to use and dark true black.
