This mascara does really enhance your lashes making them look long and defined. I always apply two thin coats for the best coverage which gives a lovely natural look however if you try to add more layers - perhaps for an evening out - it becomes very clumpy and makes the lashes stick together.My main problem with it is how hard it is to remove. I normally use a good quality natural soap that effectively removes all my other makeup but barely touches this mascara. Even after applying makeup remover there are often remnants left that I can only remove by running my nails along the lash, risking damaging or pulling out the lash.On the plus side it is definitely the most waterproof mascara I have

Don't get me wrong, the product is an absolute 5! Let me tell you what I love about it first. It makes my lashes look incredible. I've always wanted them to look like this and I finally found the right mascara for it. I curl them before and they look so long and good.Now the bad. The packaging. Like others have said, it doesn't have a plastic exterior. Mine did look completely new though. The other bad thing is that it's super hard to remove, but I suppose that's because it's water proof. Even with makeup removers I'm having difficulties though.I would've given it a 5 if it wasn't for the packaging basically. I don't regret the purchase at all though!

Happy with the purchase. Read many reviews when this came without protective seal, but mine came with the seal. Also, mainly I wanted waterproof mascara, put this in the morning, it survived well saying goodbye in the morning, throughout funeral and then also shower, when I washed my face with face scrub and afterwards with normal soap and it didn't wash off. Second day on still little bit remains. Also, it did extend lashes and looked really nice. Hoping not to loose my eyelashes, but it was really good and I am happy with it. For removal would recommend some proper makeup removal product.

I can't recommend this highly enough. I've been a fan of this mascara for many years - probably from the date of its first appearance - and have never found anything to equal it. (If only I'd had it in the Sixties when I was trying to imitate Twiggy). As a road cyclist who rides in often appalling weather and trains until very sweaty (!), I find that neither torrential rain on my face nor perspiration can shift it. However, when I need to remove it, it comes off with very little effort. My family has strict instructions to make sure I am all mascarad up with this whenever I pop my clogs...

Having small insignificant lashes this is my go to mascara and believe me I've tried them all ..I do actually prefer the waterproof version as I have leaky eyes and this one tends to smudge if your eyes water or you get rained on or sneeze alot but it's soft and very easy to apply..I curl my lashes with a lash curled first to give maximum length and volume then apply 2 bases coats and 2 top coats..you need to let it dry in between if you want to get a good effect...after it's dried I then curl my lashes again..Wow!!

Just superb. Lengthen your lashes to infinity with the primer - (the advert claims 60% lengthening and I would agree - amazing length) then really give them the spanking they need with the fabulous, intense carbon-black top coat. Tight-lines the roots of your lashes with no smudging. Jet black color right to the tip. Real 'Wow factor'. Quite expensive as it takes longer being a 2-step process but of course 'You're Worth It' .Double Extension really does Give Great Lash ;)

I've used this mascara for over 10 years. Tried at least 20 other brands and nothing compares. I've got very fine, fair eyelashes and this product makes them look twice as long and thicker. I put the white on first on both eyes, give them a few wafts with my hand then apply the black. I usually apply one layer of white and 2 black. I find it better not to let the white dry completely as then they go clumpy and you can't tear the lashes into a nice shape and distribution.

It took me years to find such a wonderful mascara, I have very sparse eyelashes and also suffer from runny eyes, this mascara makes my lashes look the best they have ever looked in my entire lifetime, and because it is waterproof is ideal when my eyes water, there was a time recently that it was nearly impossible to get hold of this product, and I was horrified, so glad that amazon now have it for sale, long may it last.

Allowing the white primer to set in for few minutes before using the black mascara does create a bigger lash effect then regular mascaras within this price range, however it can get a bit clumpy trying to cover the white primer. For me, the effect is worth it and I've never found a mascara completely free from clumpyness. Overall, worth it for the price, would recommend.

I have short lashes and with the help of a curler and this mascara I can add around 3-5mm to the length of my lashes. It is sensational. I always get compliments for my lashes. I've used this mascara for about a decade and I won't switch to anything else. I hope Loreal never discontinue this range because it simply is the best mascara- EVER.

Always have and always will love this mascara. Ive tried the extension fibre mascara and it always feels like something's in my eye, ive also tried the magnetic eyelashs i cant get the bloody things on properly then they stick together all bla bla bla BUT this mascara has always done the job for me looks great with no hassle.

My new favourite mascara! Holds a curl well, and really is super waterproof! My only thing is it can be a bit clumpy if you don’t wipe the black side on the edge of the tube first but I wouldn’t buy anything else now!My tip would be leave about 5-10 seconds between applying the white side and applying the mascara.

I've struggled to find a mascara which holds my lashes for the whole day. I think I will be using this one for years to come. It is tricky to get off so a good makeup remover is required. Holds well and you can layer up for really dark or everyday lashes. Just wish there was a plastic free way of having it.

Sincerely the Best mascara ever. It's the tops. It's also a pleasure to watch the transformation, from applying the white collagen to the finished look. Been buying it for years and yhe Amazon price at this time is superbThe large chemists charge double. Get it and enjoy it. It's a amazing xxx

Love this mascara, I have short eyelashes so this gives it the length & depth of colour I require, I don’t always use the white end for everyday but it does add amazing length. Very water resistant so does take a bit of removing with the right eye make up remover but overall very happy with it.
