Firstly the positive points: This mascara does give the appearance of thicker/longer lashes and it doesn't smudge. If you rub your eyes with it on, it still doesn't smudge - it simply kind of peels off, like a snake shedding its skin so that you have tiny lengths of plastic-y stuff that you can just brush away! It lasts all day and is easily removed with face wash. Oh - and it arrived super-quickly, which was good.The negative points: It's a bit clumpy (if it had been ordinary mascara I would have said that it was old stock, because it seemed a bit dry and lumpy, but as it's the first time I've used it I don't know whether this is normal) and so is difficult to apply evenly. And it's a bit of a faff to apply,

I have been using this mascara for years. My two main positive points are:1. My eyelashes always look fuller and longer.2. The mascara does not run or smudge. You can wear it all day. Even if I wear it when I work out, it stays put. I've even shed a tear or two with this mascara and it doesn't run.My two negative points are:1. As a previous reviewer has mentioned...make sure you remove every bit of it before you go to bed. If you get any spots on your bedsheets, it will not come off. No matter how much you wash them, even if you use bleach on white sheets, it will not come off. I got some on a top once, had to throw the top away.2. Best waterproof mascara I've found for years, it's totally amazing! Use the white side first and layer it on (which I used to do with an older mascara to get the mascara onto the lashes in the first place, cause you know the new stufff usually slides right off), and it really does catch and volumize every single lash, and you see them all because they are white. Wait for it to dry for half a min, then coat with the black side. You'll need to do that fully because otherwise the white shows through, but I always give my lashes a good coat anyway, and this is the best one for this. It's not for people who dab on mascara badly in five seconds. It is bomb proof, resisted copious crying (at a funeral)

I began using this mascara approx. 6 months ago and it is definitely my new fav (my old fav being L'Oreal Double Extension Waterproof :))! It still lengthens my short lashes brilliantly - people are actually fooled into thinking I have long lashes and its also pretty much completely waterproof. I also get very very little transference to below eye area due to my oily skin, whereas, with the waterproof version I used to get this quite a lot. This is also so easy to remove - a bit of traditional hot water and soap. Would definitely recommend (well, I have already recommended to a number of friends and family).

I am very fussy about the mascara that I use. It took me many years to find one that I love and this is it. Can be worn all day and stays put and eyes look great. No black sumdges. Make sure you take it off before going to bed, my mum is always moaning at me because her pillow cases are covered in little black dots that dont come out in the wash. Not the best for fake lashes if you are planning to use them more than once as you cant apply extra cotes once it is dry (not that you need it on natural eyelashes).

Best mascara I've ever used. It's easy to see if you've gotten every little lash with the base coat, which is white, and then easy to see if you've coated your lashes well with the actual mascara. No glops, and lashes really lengthen. Absolutely no smudging. I haven't cried wearing it yet, and not sure how that would hold up. The way to remove is to soften with warm water (does take more time than I want it to and soap doesn't make a difference) and gently pull the mascara from the lashes.

I love this mascara - I am a mascara junkie and always search to find a better one well now the search is over!!!! this is fabulous it lengthens the lashes and thickens without clumping and stays put no flakes, no panda eyes at all! its sooo easy to remove with warm water on a cotton wool pad and the tubes just wipe away which is great for me as a lot of eye make up removers irritate my eyes. As long as you don't mind using a primer coat then the top coat I say try this out!

This mascara was one of the first L'Oreal products i've tried and 10/10 for extending my eyelashes. However, because it isn't waterproof, if i use it for too long it flakes onto my face. But i love the way it washes off, if you pull it in between your fingers in the shower it comes off instantly and has a jelly-like feeling !Maybe if used with a clear mascara on top it won't flake as much

I have been looking for a mascara that gives my lashes length without smudging, which has always been an issue for me, and this stayed on all day and didn't smudge! I also accidentally fell asleep with it in and woke up and it was still perfect! Definitely recommend!Smudge- proofVolume controllong lashes

Since 1979 I have used this! I have tried more expensive ones, but none have done as well. Amazon saves us 3-4 dollars. I use the waterproof and have never been disappointed. I have stopped buying the others for I found them a waste of money.

The best mascara of all!! Thanks to great idea of creators i can use only water and finger tips to remove it. Very comfortable !!! I am very disappointed in the Czech Republic because it is no longer possible to buy

Love this so much, have tried every other colour from this range and they smudge but not the red one. However finding it really difficult to obtain, no one is selling it - Help?

I love this mascara, once its on it looks amazing, and just washes off with soap and water, so easy and no messy eyes

This adds length, not volume. So easy to remove as well. It’s a staple! Only wish I came in brown.
