was looking for a birthday present for my 7 year old son, so when I came across this net I thought it looked perfect, so I went ahead and placed my order, the net arrived the very next day, it arrived it carry black bag which is perfect if you are giving this as a gift, I was sent this net at a reduced price to try first before I then review it I am pleased I was, I removed the net from the bag, and then slid off the band that was keeping the net in place it sprang in to shape, I then placed in the pole and then placed the tent pegs in to secure it to the ground, my son loved it, he has been playing golf with his god father but has found it hard to practice, but now with the aid of this net he can do this when ever he wants.the net did not come with instruction but did not need them to put up however I have a few pop up tents so I am used to putting these away but you may find it a little difficult at first. thank you for taking the time to read my review and I do hope you have found it of some help.

The image given shows the box and net as being the same, so when it arrived my first thought was to send it back... far too small... This image belies the truth however as the thing springs out to a much larger size. Looking at this conversely, the compactness of this net makes it extremely portable when folded down. It's also light weight, having pegs to keep it down in a breeze. The only changes I would make, is to have the rear support strut and pegs attached so they don't get mislaid, and to have a small bag to keep it in when folded down - currently, I have to use the box it came in. Nonetheless, it's excellent value for money.

first impresions shows to me that this net is a perfect size and because of the whole net being very light yet stable on the ground, this means the wind can not carry the net away when your chipping towards it, the metal pegs given with the net is not even needed. Every chip conveniently drops into the bottom pouch and the backbone of the product is very stable as well. The net has a strong wire and the outside allowing it to fold to half its size, when I received the product this blew me of course as I thought they sent me the wrong size but then it opened to its real size when I got it out.

My chipping was not a strong part of my game so I got this net. It pops up and is help up by a pole which comes in two sections. Therefore a quick set up time. When outside you can secure it to the ground with the pins provided. Taking it down is simple task too as it can be folded back into its original shape. It is a sturdy net and I have not had a problem with it so far and I have used it quite a bit.My chipping has dramatically improved and I have even had a few chip ins now.A must for anyone who needs to improve their chipping

I bought this 2.5 years ago for my husband, and he’s finally started using it now we’re on lockdown and he can’t golf!He sets it up in the garden and is loving practising his chipping with it.Only thing is, every time he sets it up, the cat puffs up her tail and starts growling, we’ve never heard her make such a racket! She then refuses to go outside until it’s safe and the bet has been put away.Overall, great for golf and great for keeping unwanted cats out of your garden!

Fantastic product, be careful when taking off the strap as it will ping open quickly and can be tricky to get back in the box. Easy to set up as it does most of the job for you, you than just need to put the pole in place and or fix to the ground (however I haven't needed to)Great satisfaction when chipping a ball into the net and the net will hold the ball so you know which ones have successfully gone in.What is not to like?

This net looks pretty in the garden, it cant catch the balls though, not even jonny bairstow could get near my chips :) haha (england wicket keeper for those that dont know)But in all seriousness, this little new is perfect for the garden, easy set up, catches balls well (if you can hit them well enough) can peg it to the ground if windy, not a lot more to say...bit of a no brainier, hours of fun for very little cash

When I first opened this I was a little concerned. It looked small compared to the picture. However, it springs easily into life and comes with two pegs to allow you to attach it outside. Its a fair size and useful for chipping when you are not able to get out and practice.I would recommend this if you need to practice in your garden or indoors and would say its great value.

Nice little net that you can chip into from about 3ft to 15ft, but probably a bit too small for longer distances unless you are really good! But good quality, firm, and stands tall when you land a ball in it. Excellent value for money and perfect to practice the small chips in the garden on the house (subject to the proper authorisations and permissions!).

Great for summertime practise. This is great if you are like me and can't get to the course much through the week.I haven't a lot of free time so when I get a chance I need to make sure my practise counts. This pops up and is ready to use in seconds. As an added bonus, it doesn't take up much space which keeps the other half happy!

easy to assemble as it just pops up but be careful because it does that fast not quiet so easy to fold back down but with some practice it is getting a little easier brought as a gift for a golfer friend so he should like it very much for chipping practice bigger than it looks from the size of the box and seems well put together

There's not much you can really say about this, it's a net! Comes in handy for easy practice away from the course or range, hopefully this can improve my chipping which is a weakspot in my game alongside driving, using irons, and putting! Do be aware the net pops out quick when you take the strap off, and I mean quick!

This is decent quality and does exactly what it’s meant to. Be careful when you first open it though because it unfolds as it ‘pops up’ in the same fashion as a pop up tent. Keep it away from your face as you undo the binding because it goes off like a bear trap!

good, cheap, does the job, and very easy to store. Just don't lose the pole - its the only thing that keeps the net up - if you lose it then it just lies flat and you'll be hunting around for a substitute for ages.

OK chipping net but the net came compressed to half it's size and when I went to open it the rod inserted around the edge came apart and has now got a kink in it but its OK and does the job I bought it for.
