I was at first delighted with this keyboard, and my review would have given it five stars, but... Every so often the battery status indicator lights up spontaneously, and when it does so my typing doesn't register for a couple of seconds. This is a massively irritating nuisance. I mailed Logitech customer support about the problem, but reply came there none. Be warned.Edited 10 Sept 2016, to add...My problem with the battery status indicator is solved. Coincidentally (?) I received an email from Logitech support two days after I posted the above review. The support person was very helpful, and the issue turned out to be as follows. The intermittent battery status indicator lights were a warning that the batteries supplied with the keyboard (with a theoretical life of around 3 years) were low. Since the battery status indicator started coming on intermittently within about 2 months of buying the keyboard and persisted for a further 4 months, with everything otherwise working just fine, it had not crossed my mind to change the batteries. Now I have replaced them the problem has disappeared. For those tempted to comment that I should have thought to replace the batteries sooner, please consider the following. 1) The Logitech software kept assuring me that the batteries were 'good'. 2) the Logitech software states that a low battery status will be indicated on the screen, not by the status indicator light. 3) The status indicator light, when it came on intermittently, gave no indication that the batteries were low.I have now upped my star rating to four stars, but have left the original review and heading unchanged, in case this post helps someone else who encounters the same problem.

A curious headline perhaps but aside from functioning as a keyboard as expected, this keyboard has the following useful feautres which I hope will be helpful to know:There are some grey keys around the keyboard and you can customise each with shortcuts. Very handy, and in tandem with my Logitech MX2 mouse, am pretty well quiped to navigate my laptop without dragging the mouse to the search/home buttons on desktop. I mean it's a ridiculaouf reason, but does become a bit of a habit;Ther are deep enough grooves above the numbers row but below the Function F eys to rest a pencil or a pen safely without it rollong off while you type;Another feature is that the legs at the back are at two heights and are sufficiently wide so that the keyboard can rest above, but not touch, my lenovo X280 laptop. So the keyboard acts almost like an extension, and it doesn't take too much additional area space on my desk.Lasty, its a great size, and the wrist rest on bottom is made of a soft material, not gel, more like padding. So that was a welcomed bonus for those of us with bony wrists.I bought this as work gave us some financial support for home equipment (appreciate that won't be everyone's circumstances), but despite that I had been eyeing up a buisness keyboard in any case for some time.

This is the second of these I've bought and I think they are near perfect.Im a writer and run online support forums, so I'm behind a computer close to 8hrs a day almost every day. I used to get pain in my wrists, the pain is not totally gone but it's far far better. The wrist pad support and the angle of the keys are excellent, vast improvementNot only is if comfortable generally well designed. The layout and extra keys are very handy. I'll be very disapointed when I can't get a replacement in a few years.when they 'go' its down to two problems. The lettering on the Keys wears off, I've tried everything from letracet and varnish, to nail varnish. Nothing works, it all rubs off.THe second problem is sticky keys. Wear on the key guides causes them to stick. I even tried coating them in silicon gel, that didn't work either.Still, the first one lasted around 10 years of intensive use so can't altogether complain.

I have used a Logitech K350 for years - I'm using one to type this, and the one I've just bought has gone into the storecupboard.I believe that Logitech in the UK have de-listed this model, so I had to buy one while the going is good. The headline to this review says it all: the keyboard is huge, as are the keys, and as are my hands. I learned to touch-type in the 1970s and now that I'm a writer, I wouldn't be without this device. Yes, it's a bit clunky, but its mechanical feedback and wide spacing (plus useful programmable media keys) make it the perfect accompaniment to the desktop computer. The first-gen 'unified' receivers didn't work too well. This one behaves faultlessly. And finally - I upgraded to Windows 10 this week, and the keyboard still works perfectly (after updating driver).

I have just bought the second of these that I've had, January 2020. I bought my first in March 2012. My initial use was for writing books and articles so for some years it had heavy use. More recently I've used it for my accounts and occasionally for using the internet and emailing, although for those things I mostly use a tablet. I've replaced the original because some of the more heavily used keys in particular were getting sticky and making touch typing impossible. This is certainly the best keyboard I've ever had and I've used many since the 1980s when I got my first computer. Almost eight years is a good life for a keyboard though now I'm using it much less I hope this one will see me out (I'm 65);-).

Reasons it's a great product - long range, palm rest is perfect for lying back on a sofa, multimedia buttons are very handy, keys are comfy and fluid to use.I haven't found much use for the buttons other than calculator, pause/play, next, previous and volume buttons. These are all I need. It can be easy to accidentally tap the application switcher button which is annoying but you can turn it off. Big issue is that some of the buttons aren't easily modifiable - multimedia controls only work with a few media players. I've used it for years and years, ordering a replacement once or twice. It gets dirty sometimes - gunk gets inbetween the keys but doesn't cause trouble and relatively easy toclean.

In my mind the best keyboard ever made by Logitech. I have bought 2 spares because I have seen the other keyboards that Logitech are selling and don't like the looks of them at all. I know that everyone has their own ideas on what a keyboard looks and performs like, but I honestly don't think there are any better ones out there at the moment.I have been buying them since they entered the market and where badged as Wave and Wave Pro, they are not that easy to find any longer so I might try to buy another. Married with a LOGITECH Performance MX Wireless Darkfield Mouse can't get any better than that.By the way I am retired and have never worked for Logitech but I do love their products.

To date, none of the keys have started to lose their letters, which is why I had to invest in a new keyboard as my Microsoft equivalent had been dreadful, where the letters disappeared with use in a matter of days post purchase! This Logitech product also has some useful additional keys, such as the 'sleep' function (to put your PC to sleep in one easy move), the other key I'm also finding helpful is the 'calculator', which opens the calculator window without the need to go 'all apps'. For someone who is pretty much in constant use of their keyboard, the 'feel' of the keys is very good, just a light touch required, so very good ergonomically.

Moved to this keyboard from a Microsoft 5000 keyboard and mouse as I'd worn some of the keyboard legends and the mouse wheel, and the choice of featured, ergonomic and wireless keyboards is limited. This is quite different in feel to the Microsoft keyboard: it feels as though the keys have more movement (possibly due to the scupting of the keyboard) and it is definitely noisier.Keyboard legends appear to be transfers - it will be interesting to see how long they lastLike the single button to sleep my PCMiss the ability to tip the keyboard down away from me, but as this feels thicker and has a better wrist rest it doesn't seem to matter

This is a very comfortable keyboard, plenty big enough for proper key spacing with just enough of the extra keys to do what you need without too much clutter. The hand rests are very comfortable when typing for long periods of time and the slight curve is great. Most of the 'extra' buttons, like media transport & volume work out of the box without having to install setpoint driver software. The only thing to note is the unifying software, used to initially connect the keyboard, does not come with a Windows 10 compatible version on the CD, but this is easy enough to download off the Logitech website.

If you like solid, clicky keys, with an ergonomic design, this is the keyboard for you! The battery life is very long. I work on my PC, with lots of overtime, and the batter lasts well over three years. The palm rest is comfortable and padded, and I love the very mechanical tactile, clicky keys, which work very well, and give me the feel I like. The keyboard has helped me avoid RSI, and helped me relax whilst working. I also like the function button keys, which can call up standard Windows features, and are around the edge of the keyboard. A great addition to a set of Logitech Unifying equipment.

The layout is different to the photo but in a good way (for me at least), I have been using the Logitech Wave 450 for many years and it served me very well but it was getting old and manky so I wanted to replace it but I didn't like any I tried until I discovered this one which has the exact same layout and design with the only difference being that it's wireless (which seems to be working perfectly so far). This is how the keyboard actually looks, you'll notice the enter key is full sized and key next to Z is in the correct place which is exactly what I wanted. Overall I couldn't be happier.

Had been using an older version of this keyboard for the last 5 years. And because i was so impressed with that one's longevity and solid build, i chose to go for it's younger sibling this time round. The convenience of being able to use both mouse and keyboard together in one USB slot via Logitech's "Unifying" software was the final prod i needed to take the plunge. It all works superbly.I sincerely believe that this Keyboard is the best domestic choice for anyone who wants the best typing experience ever constructed.Recommended.

This is a very good keyboard. But...Some silly omissions really drag the score down. A simple LED that shows when CAPSLOCK, NUMLOCK or SCROLLLOCK are on are suprisingly annoying when absent. The software (Logitech software is almost consistently poor) does not make it possible to program all the extra buttons you get. Such a shame.Oh, and this could just be me, but the placement of the Delete/End/Home keys is at odds with anything I've used before, so you're constantly deleting when you want to go to the end of the line.

I was glad that I could buy this keyboard in the UK,I've had a similar for many years and when I noticed that it wasn't working correctly anymore I tried to order a new one in a local store. But this model (they told me) was no longer available.. through Ebay UK I found one (although with a UK keyboard) ... I type a lot and this keyboard is the only one for me that is perfect (and believe me, I tried several others before). For me this design is so superb... will buy some spare ones upcoming weeks...
