I've had the keyboard for a while and decided to write a review after getting used to it. This review was written on the keyboard itself.BUILD QUALITYThe keyboard is precision engineered, I didn't find anything loose, keys out of place or even askew. It's built solidly with care and precision. The keyboard weight is quite high and I find it difficult to re-orientate it using only my pinky fingers on either side while typing but this adds to its solid feeling construction. The main typing chassis has very minor flex, considering how thin it is and that's made from plastic I'm impressed. While typing there is no flexing at all, it just feels solid and sturdy.THE TYPING EXPERIENCEI purchased this keyboard because I really like chiclet style keyboards. If you've used an Apple laptop or desktop keyboard in the last 10 years it feels a lot like those but with a deeper actuation point so the keys can go down a little further. The important thing is, it feels great to type on. All the keys are consistent in the amount of force needed to actuate them with a satisfying key bounce. The indentations on the key surfaces were something that concerned me before I received the keyboard as in the photos they look quite deep into the keys. But in reality it's quite subtle and not easily visible from a sitting position, under the finger the indentations feel quite nice, almost like the keys conform to your finger tips. I would go so far as to say I prefer the indentation chiclet keys to the non-indentation type. One thing this keyboard doesn't suffer from is wobbly keys. I don't know what mechanism Logitech is using but I'd assume it's a two point scissor switch. You can press a key right on its very corner and it will still go down evenly, all the keys feel incredibly sturdy and solid. They also have almost no movement side to side which is nice.Overall the typing experience is great, if you like chiclet style keyboards this is one of if not the best example of a chiclet implementation I've seen.THE KEYBOARD BACK LIGHTINGOne of the reasons I purchased this keyboard was because of the back lighting, not because I wanted the lighting but because it means the key letters are not printed so they cant rub off after a couple of years of use. The middle part of the keys I believe are laser etched and the lighting shines through very brightly. You can control the intensity of the light and on the maximum brightness mode it is much brighter than other back light keyboards I've seen including Apples Retina MacBook Pro. There is a lot of back light bleed around the edges of the keys which I believe is due to them using a single light source for the entire keyboard to save battery but it still looks great with each key shining evenly and clearly. The back lighting on the keyboard can be used while not plugged in and charging but it will automatically dim if your hands move away from the keyboard using some kind of proximity sensor. If you have it plugged in to charge you can keep the wireless lighting on permanently.Personally I would have liked some control over how soon the lights dim when you stop typing as it feels a bit too soon for me. Also while the back light does slowly turn on and off it could be slowed further so it's less noticeable when it occurs. At first I found the lighting turning off constantly to be distracting but I have since gotten used to it and no longer notice.THE WIRELESS FEATUREThe wireless on the keyboard works solidly with both the included unifying receiver (USB Type A, very small receiver) and also with the built in Bluetooth. I've tried the keyboard with a PC using the unifying receiver and a Mac using Bluetooth and it works really well with both, I found no issues of any kind with the wireless signal it at no time lost connection to either machine while I used it.The keyboard does feature a multi-connect system, there are three keys above insert, home and page up which enable you to instantly switch the keyboard between three devices. These can be Bluetooth devices like a Computer, Tablet or Smart Phone or devices using the unifying receiver. I found this feature not only works perfectly but is instantaneous.THE BATTERY LIFELogitech states the battery lasts a week but I found this to be false. For me the battery lasts about 3 days with back lighting active. The good news is you can still use the keyboard while it's plugged in and charging. The keyboard is supplied with a USB-A to USB-C cable with the USB-C side plugging into the keyboard for charging. The battery life can be extended greatly if you choose to disable the lighting but it looks really great with the back lighting on and certainly easier to use with it turned on.THE CREATIVE INPUT DIALPerhaps the first time a keyboard has come with a built in fidget device the wheel in the top left is supposed to be the keyboards stand out feature but I personally found its functionality to be quite basic and it feels like a novelty. I am a heavy Photoshop user and although it offers integration with Photoshop CC the things it enables you to do can be done quite quickly with the mouse or a pen input device like a Wacom tablet so its usefulness is suspect. One area where I thought the input dial would shine is when changing the brush size dynamically while drawing a line in Photoshop but that's not the case because you can only adjust the brush size with the dial when you're not holding down your mouse cursor. This is a big disappointment for me. I'd gladly buy the keyboard at a lower price without the input dial entirely.Another issue with the input dial is the noise it makes when changing modes. By default it will scroll without any resistance but when you activate a program profile that needs to provide "bumps" in the turning of the wheel, for example changing volume on a Mac or switching Tabs in Chrome it will make a very audible click sound as it engages some kind of gear inside the wheel. I found this to be quite annoying especially when you switch apps and you can hear it engaging and disengaging over and over each time you touch the wheel. Thankfully this "switching" functionality can be disabled but by doing so you're losing a main feature point of the keyboard. My last issue with the wheel is how easy it is to touch it by accident when reaching for the esc key in the top left corner. There is very little space between the wheel and the esc key and when you touch the wheel it brings up a volume adjustment screen on your display and it's just annoying.INCLUDED SOFTWAREWhen I first plugged the unifying receiver into my PC (running Windows 10) it prompted me to download and install "LogiOptions" which appears to be the companion software for the keyboard from Logitech. This 149MB download allows you to customise the keyboards Input Dial on a per-application basis and also globally across all apps. It also allows you to customise the function keys along the top and a few other options such as permanently disabling the back light if desired. It also shows the battery life and the status of your unifying wireless adaptor if you use it.I believe this software also enables the third party integration between the input dial and apps like Photoshop. It can bring up overlays on the screen when you touch the input dial to indicate what tool you're adjusting by tapping, clicking or turning the dial. The interface is very clean and professional looking in-keeping with Windows 10 style cues.I found the software to be quite stable and easy to use, it does include an automatic updater built in which I also found easy to use with a minimal amount of effort needed to install new updates when presented to me by the interface.PRICEI feel the keyboard at £159.99 which is what I paid for it from Amazon is still asking a lot. The typing experience is stellar, the brightness of the back light is great. The wireless feature with the ability to still use the keyboard even while being charged is a nice touch and the included USB-C charging cable is good to see on a 2017 product but I feel it would be much more appropriately priced at £99.99.CONCLUSIONI really like the keyboard for typing, I'd much rather buy a version without the click wheel for less money and I'd like to see them increase the battery capacity so you don't need to charge it as often.Positives:+ Great typing experience+ Really bright back lighting+ Great keycaps that feel stable and enjoyable to press+ Good well thought out key layout+ Perfect choice and placement of all function/media keys along the top rowCons:- Lack of control over back light proximity timeout- Creative Input Dial is mostly an expensive gimmick- Creative Input Dial is placed a bit too close to the esc key causing unintended dial touches- Battery life could be a lot better- Price: About 37% more than it should be.

This is the best wireless keyboard I've ever owned and the best tactile feeling I've experienced. The Logitech Craft is a full-size keyboard that has great build quality; unique keys that have a circular indentation; unique creative input dial; sleek and thin design and much more.⚫ PAIRING / CONNECTIVITYYou can connect the keyboard to its USB unifying receiver and 2 other Bluetooth devices, or simply connect to 3 Bluetooth devices and easily switch between them.· Out of the box pairing was a breeze - it took < 30sec. to pair with my PC.While writing this review I also paired it with my phone (Samsung S9+)with equal ease.· As advertised: it was easy to switch between the two without re-pairing by selecting the proper "device keys" at the top of the keyboard - just press the corresponding 1, 2 or 3 button and you are in business.· The keyboard also has a USB Type-C port (cable is included) which makes charging a breeze.⚫ TYPING EXPERIENCEI am a fairly proficient typist who can type by touch without looking at the keys and I find that I can type at my normal rate with this keyboard without having to slow down due to its concave keys (I was worried that these concave keys would make typing more difficult, but - I haven't found them to have any negative impact on the typing experience).· In fact, the keys are nice and concave making it easy for your fingers to rest on them as opposed to the flat style keys that some products use.⚫ BUILD AND DESIGNThe construction/build quality is exceptional, a strong build that feels like it will last - with a large aluminium piece sitting along the top of the board, and a smooth matte plastic covering the rest of the keyboard.· It is a bit heavy (not TOO heavy, just heavier than you would expect from a thin keyboard), which keeps it from sliding around on whatever surface you’re using.• CROWNIt is a great addition for people in the creative field. The Crown is the dial/wheel on the top left corner of the keyboard that can be customised to suit the task you are working on or the application you are using.· If you’re using Adobe Photoshop, the Crown can be used to easily adapt brushes, zoom in on images, change the stroke weight etc.· In After Effects, the Crown can be used to zoom in on videos, change the opacity/size, switching compositions etc.· Word allows you to resize images or quickly change document formats.· It is also nice to have for volume control, as well as On/Off for sound or switching tabs in Chrome, Edge, Firefox etc.• SMART ILLUMINATIONThe backlight is actually wonderful and I love how it senses my hands getting close to the keyboard. The light turns off after about 5 seconds of inactivity, but you don't have to start typing again for the light to come on. You can move the mouse, or even just hover your hands above the keyboard, and the backlight will be ON before you can even start typing.· There are proximity sensors on the keyboard that will illuminate the keys when it detects your hands motion over it or near it, before they even touch the keyboard!· The backlit keys can automatically adjust brightness to suit the lighting conditions.· The lighting is even and allows you to see the keys in dark situations.· The only customization you have is to turn the brightness up or down, there are no effects or anything like that.⚫ BATTERY LIFEThe battery life is fantastic if you turn it off at night and if you don't have a lighting situation where the backlight turns on all of the time (I have plenty of light during the day, so I keep the backlight off)I seem to be getting about 5-6 full working-days from a full charge.· It has a built-in rechargeable battery, so there is no need for AA or AAA batteries.⚫ SOFTWARE SUPPORTYou definitely want to download the Logitech® Options™ software. This allows you to see all of your Logitech components in one place and you can assign the keyboard buttons to what you want them to do to customise it to fit your needs. You can also assign different functions for the dial as well.· I noticed that many buyers are complaining about the software - I have had no problems whatsoever.✔ Pros:+ High-Quality construction+ Comfortable to type on+ Smart illumination+ Major applications supported (Adobe CC, Microsoft 365 etc.)+ The Crown - very unique creative input dial+ Can store multiple Bluetooth profiles+ Sleek and thin design✖ Cons:- No complaintsI wanted to say that the price is exaggerated but it has dropped since I bought this keyboard, so - No complaints at all!? I received the Logitech Craft and using it for almost 2 Years now and couldn't be more pleased with the purchase.Highly recommended!

This is one heck of a nice keyboard - a premium product at a premium price. However, some people are going to get more value out of its features than others. The Craft keyboard comes nicely packaged and simply oozes quality. It's beautifully built and finished, with no flex or creaks. It's heavy, at 950 g, and stays absolutely put on the desk. However, there are no props to raise the back of the keyboard, so it always lies flat. This is a pity as some people prefer a steeper angle. Another thing - there's no provision for a Kensington lock, or any other physical security measure so it's best kept out of temptation's way.You get a Logitech Unifying wireless receiver in the package. This pairs up straightforwardly with the keyboard and works with other Unifying-compatible peripherals using the downloadable Logitech Options software. I'm using an older Logitech wireless mouse - an LX-6 - which has its own receiver and I haven't encountered any problems with interference between the new and the old systems. You also get a USB-C charging cable. Battery life seems good and I would guess that even heavy users will get at least a week between charges. Now for the most important bit - how good a keyboard is this? By the way, I'm using it with a Windows 10 desktop PC.The key caps are double-shot moulded, rather than printed. This means that the legends - the letters, numbers and symbols - go all the way through, like the writing in a stick of Blackpool rock, instead of being printed on the surface. They will never wear off. They're also back-lit, with the amount of lighting determined by the level of ambient illumination. A proximity sensor turns the back-lighting on as your hands approach the keyboard and off again when you move away. This is amazingly cool the first time you see it, and it remains useful thereafter. The keys themselves are of the chiclet kind; dished with a short but positive action. I find them very easy to work with - they're quiet and I seem to make fewer errors when typing. If you're a fan of long-travel mechanical keyboards like the original Cherry and IBM varieties then this keyboard may not be for you.Now for the other big feature - the knob on the top left of the keyboard, or "crown" as Logitech prefer to call it. This is where you have to make your own value call. The idea of it is that, with appropriate application software, you can use the crown to select - in a context-aware manner - between menu options. For example, If you're using Photoshop and you're selecting a brush you can turn the knob to choose different sizes and kinds. This is great and I don't think it would take long to get used to it and start to see productivity gains, although it does tend to favour right-handers. If you usually hold the mouse in your left hand, then your right hand has to move awkwardly across the keyboard to reach the crown. Perhaps a future version could have a movable crown? The Options software looks for compatible applications on your PC or Mac and preselects them. You can add other applications manually and configure the crown's behaviour, but the benefits will vary. By default, the crown acts as a volume control if focus is on the desktop and a tab cycler if focus is in a browser. Chrome and Microsoft Edge are supported out of the box. This is cool, especially as the crown changes mode between a smooth action - for volume control - and a clicky one, for tab cycling. There is a little clunk and whirr when it switches - a bit off-putting at first, but you soon get used to it.Android support works well. I was able to pair the keyboard with my Nexus tablet over Bluetooth and have it work as expected. By assigning my PC to key 1 and the tablet to key 2 I'm able to switch devices on the fly. Very handy. So, to sum up: The Craft is a very nicely made, top-quality keyboard, but you'll only get your full money's worth out of it if it increases your productivity with the - mainly Adobe CC - applications you use.

This Logitech Craft Wireless Keyboard is well presented and in the package you get a USB receiver (which also accommodates my Logitech MX Master 2S Mouse), charging lead and a quick start guide. The immediate impression of the keyboard is that it's very well made and quite heavy but not as big as I expected. The most obvious stand out feature is the Creative Control Dial which gives you extra control options in a range of applications including MS Office and Google Chrome. To get going you need to charge the unit for 3 - 4 hours and an LED indicator tells you when it's done although the rechargeable batteries are not designed for user replacement.Connection using the Logitech Options software is easy and the package is intuitive to use - you can either use the supplied USB radio receiver (2.4Ghz) to connect to your computer or Bluetooth. The wireless connection is encrypted and battery life appears good so far.I really like the feel of this keyboard - the concave keys feel very good and are perfectly spaced plus the LED back lighting responds to changes in ambient lighting conditions - a really handy feature. One slight negative is that the keyboard doesn't have fold down rear feet like most models so you can't adjust the rake of the unit although it has substantial anti-slip rubber feet. Some of the keys are slightly differently configured to a conventional keyboard for example the Alt keys include the Windows start and command functions but they're intuitive to use. There's also a caps lock LED which I missed on some other wireless keyboards. The Creative Dial is novel but it does actually work quite well and saves reverting to the mouse so often - for example, if you want a new tab in Google Chrome just turn the dial slightly to the right and you're there. The number of programmes that are supported are a bit limited at present but cover a number of Adobe, Google and Microsoft offerings and I understand more are to follow.I really like this keyboard, yes, it is expensive, but it is very well made, a joy to type on plus it offers additional functionality in the form of the Creative Dial which is genuinely useful. As much as budget offerings sell, I welcome a manufacturer producing a really high end product like this for keyboard users that want a high level of comfort and flexibility - I would pay the asking price. Are there any downsides? I think the 1 year warranty for a device like this is a bit stingy, the fact you can't adjust the rake of the keyboard is a pity, plus only time will tell how durable the rechargeable batteries prove to be especially as they're not user replaceable but these are only slight issues to me.Overall though a top quality product which, first and foremost, is great to type on with the added value of the Creative Control Dial and plenty of other features. Recommended.

This keyboard is absolutely brilliant, it feels like a premium bit of kit and is an absolute joy to type with. That said, although this is a keyboard you're not here to read about how it types are you? You want to know about the crown functionality! So let's leave that part for other reviewers to deal with and dive into how the crown has come into use in my day to day design life. From a technical standpoint the crown is pretty spectacular. The lightest of touches brings up the control menu, the way it satisfyingly clicks between free spin and ratcheted spin both sounds, and more importantly, feels sublime and it looks gorgeous too. Although, when I say the lightest of touches I really do mean the lightest of touches,it feels like even looking at the crown triggers the menu popping up, so expect to see it a few hundred times a day. Fortunately it's harder to actually accidentally trigger a change than it is to bring up the menu, so although you'll be spawning the menu accidentally you won't be randomly adjusting the brightness too often (but it WILL happen, probably when the CEO is at your desk). Now, when I was reading about this keyboard before purchasing I fantasised about how much time i would save with the crown, how it would revolutionise my workflow and would make me the world's greatest designer in a matter of seconds. The sad reality is that although I used it a fair bit the first week, by the end of the first month I was baring using it at all. I guess I'm just too accustomed to keyboard shortcuts and end up going into autopilot. I do still use it for some things, mainly skipping songs and changing the volume of music (there are volume and skip keys on the keyboard, but I gotta get use out of this crown some how!).So it's not the design revolution I was hoping for, but it is a really cool bit of kit. If you forced yourself to use the crown and stuck with it then you probably could end up streamlining your workflow. But if you've been designing for years you'll probably only end up using the crown for a minimal amount of uses.So why haven't I returned this keyboard? Because of that thing we don't really want to talk about - it's such a lovely typing experience. The key travel is perfect, as is the spacing and the click as you strike each key. It's truly a joy to type with. Also I'll just touch on battery life because I've seen some conflicting reviews on this. I have the backlight turned off and go weeks and weeks without needing to charge the keyboard, so unless you're working in a cave you should just turn the backlight off and bask in the joy of forgetting where you left the charging lead.

After about 4 weeks of usage, I have only had to charge the Craft once. This is with around an hour of typing a day, not including general searching, and usage of the dial quite often. It took around 3 hours to fully charge and allowed me to use the keyboard whilst charging which was very useful. Typing on the keyboard is very nice. The keys are soft and quiet and have a nice texture with a curved circle in the centre which positions your fingers better.Using it for long typing sessions was comfortable. A small squeak has developed on the right side of the space bar which is only noticeable for quick typing but is not that loud.Back lighting on the keyboard is useful but i have not noticed the 'Adaptive Lighting'affect anything, the brightness level has always stayed the same. After owning a keyboard without function keys, I have to say that they are very useful. I do miss the scroll wheel for sound on my previous keyboard but being able to do media controls and other Windows processes was useful (the fn key was also in a better position than most keyboards with the fn key as it is not there the Windows key normally is).I have found the create dial most useful for Adobe applications. Changing brightness contrast and saturation in Photoshop is very useful and is much more efficient than normally changing those. I found the dial very useful for InDesign, changing the scale, fill colour and opacity using the dial sped things up a lot and was easier to use than it would be normally. I couldn't find as much usage for the dial in illustrator and could not get the dial to work with Premiere. One of the features I like most about the dial is being able to set a custom key. I set 'Dial Right' to 'Arrow Down' for downwards scrolling and 'Dial Left' to 'Arrow Up' for upwards scrolling. This was very useful for social media as I found it much nicer to use than a traditional mouse wheel. I couldn't find as much use for the dial in Microsoft Office programs. It wasn't very helpful in Excel but was useful for quickly changing the size of text and colour in word. It also worked well with he Logitech Mx Master 2S when using Logitech flow. It worked seamlessly and was very useful for quickly changing between the two computers. Logitech Options also allows for full control over what each key does on the keyboard as well as what you want the Creative Dial to do in either All Applications or only specific applications.

I've been using the Logitech Craft since January 2019 with my MacBook Pro (running OS Mojave). I love the design and the build quality. The keys feel nice to press and are precise to use. I really enjoy writing with this keyboard and I write long articles online so I regularly spend an entire day working with it.With the Logitech Options software, you can customise different keys and change their functions depending on the software used. You can also assign multiple keys combination to one single key which I found handy to open a specific software or trigger a specific function on the computer. If you have patience, there is definitely lots of possibilities for customisation. The Creative Dial is a bit too sensitive, but I find it useful for different things like navigating between tabs, and especially when editing images in Lightroom: you can adjust parameters very precisely. It would be nice if you could adjust even more settings (perhaps it will be possible with some firmware updates). On the negatives, I can point out two things. First the battery life lasts not more than 2 or 3 days if you use it 8 to 10 hours a day. Not a deal breaker but definitely not what Logitech advertises.Second, sometimes the creative dial or even some customised keys will trigger something unexpected rather that the function you assigned. This is not the fault of the Keyboard itself, but probably of the Logitech Options software or maybe even some compatibility issues with Mac OS.For example I couldn't figure out why pressing the creative dial would open iTunes and start playing a film, until I changed that configuration for every single app. Also after I turn on the computer, the first time I press the F4 key, it opens the Developer Tools window in Chrome instead of the Launchpad, but it only does it the first time, then the key works as it should. The latest version of Lightroom Classic CC (8.2) has a bug: sometimes it displays an error message after deleting a photo. When that happens, the creative dial doesn't work anymore unless you close and re-open the software. So as you can see, there are various bugs like that and they can be a bit annoying to overcome.Overall, I'm happy with the purchase but if you're not interested in too much customisation, or don't think you can take too much advantage of the creative dial (it's cool but far from essential), I'm sure there are less expensive alternatives.

The control knob for me is a gimmick and I wasn't planning on using it much anyway, its quicker to switch tabs in chrome with the keyboard shortcut, its quicker to adjust volume level with the on keyboard buttons so those are fairly useless out of the box by default.HoweverI have tried to use it with Premier Pro (latest version) but it crashed Premier the moment I touched the knob. After Google-ing the issue it seems like it has been around for months, I am not expecting a fix.It did work better with Photoshop however whenever you use it for adjustments, each value change appears as an individual save in the history. e.g. if you update brightness on a layer from 0 to 100 using the wheel.Photoshop considers it as steps from 0, to 1 to 2 to 3 and so on until 100. This might not be a dealbreaker for some but very well could annoy others.Other than the knob, the keyboard itself is amazing, it has a great weight to it, and it looks great along with other Apple Space Grey devices. The keys themselves have a fair bit of travel and are quieter than my previous Logitech keyboard. Unfortunately they are not metal which was a letdown as that is what I expected for the price, however I don't really mind after using it for a few weeks.Switching between devices is straightforward and works very well. I mainly switch between my Desktop which has no Bluetooth so I use the dongle that came in with the keyboard, and my MacBook Pro with the inbuilt Bluetooth connectivity.it takes some getting used to the combination of Windows and Mac keys and shortcuts on the keyboard, but you get the grips of it easy.Overall its a great keyboard and I am happy with my purchase.

The Logitech Craft Wireless Keyboard is very well constructed, and surprising heavy, which makes it very stable. Connection to the PC is by either the Logitech Unifying Receiver, or Bluetooth; both work very well. I chose the Logitech receiver as I also use a Logitech mouse. Up to three devices can be connected and the one to be used selected by using the “Easy-Switch” keys. Another neat feature is an inbuilt battery that can be charged from a spare USB port using the supplied cable. The keys, which are backlit, are flat and well-spaced and, apart from the usual keys, there are a number of additional keys that control common functions. A unique feature is the rotating “Crown” button that allows easy control of application options, according to the tool being used. When no appropriate application is open, it becomes a simple volume control. To take maximum advantage you need to download the “Logitech Options” application. This not only allows you to select keyboard functions but also scans your system for suitable applications and sets up the appropriate controls. I use Microsoft Office Professional and Adobe Creative Cloud and appropriate applications were added to the list. Another useful advantage is the ability to disable some of the function keys, such as the Caps Lock and Insert keys, which are always catching me out.I’m absolutely delighted with the Logitech Craft, it’s the nicest keyboard I’ve ever used. I’m not a very accomplished typist, but I’ve found the layout, and in particular the backlighting, have helped me to make far fewer errors.

This was an expensive product but I'm really pleased I bought it as I absolutely love it so far. I can touch type and find my fingers just fly across the comfortable keys but there's so much more to it than that.I use Photoshop a lot and am aware the keyboard has some custom features for that but haven't yet had time to investigate that side of things but I expect it will be good. However, the thing I really like is that I can easily link the keyboard to more than one device e.g. main computer, work laptop, ipad, set-top box etc. and then all I need to do is select which device I'm using from the 3 selection keys to ensure my keystrokes target the appropriate screen.I also like the way the keys light up as my fingers move towards them which is a nice touch when dusk approaches. My only minor criticism would be the on/off switch that is on the rear elevation of the keyboard is a bit tiny and fiddly. That's hardly relevant though.Expensive but very, very nice.

I have to award five stars to this keyboard, but do so with a little gasp at the price. Compared with something like an Apple product, though, which it equals in style and quality in my view, it is, perhaps, reasonable. It is surely an exceptional and innovative product, made with precision, care and style. The keys are superbly weighted, and the dimpling and separation make fast, accurate typing as good as anything I've ever used (I use three other Logitech keyboards, two K750s and a K810 with the K750 being my favourite keyboard up till this new one). The "USP" or unique aspect of this is the "volume control" on the top left, which is, indeed,a volume control by default but which can be programmed using the Logitech software to adapt to a variety of other uses according to which program you are using the keyboard to interact with.I can't fault this new keyboard and can only think that, price aside, Logitech have an absolute winner on their hands.

This is a superior keyboard - I absolutely love it. It has a far greater range of symbols on it than I have ever had in any previous keyboard [or given my age any typewriter!!!]. It was simplicity itself to install it and I have used it several times a day since. I am on several committees and so do type a lot of minutes etc so it is very well used. The big plus of a blue tooth, of course, is that it frees a connection on the computer/laptop but I haven't been impressed with previous blue tooth keyboards I have tried [one was all but thrown out of the window - common sense took it to the dustbin instead!].This keyboard has been a delight to use and reconciled me to lookign for more blue tooth items.Sufficient to say I have packed up my previous two keyboards - a new one and an older spare - and given them to friends.

In a nutshell, good looks and a solid built combined with functional design both in terms of software and hardware. Though the best keyboards, in terms of sheer typing performance, that I have used were made by IBM in days gone by, yet I like this product a lot because of the dependable wire-free (Bluetooth) connection, its features and a reliable software.I have used the keyboard for nigh on three weeks and haven't had any problem with dropped connections or the software included with it. In terms of typing performance, there is good key travel (though mechanical keyboards are the best), and key spacing is good, too. It doesn't have height adjustment function, which I miss sometimes. However, this omission does not present itself as a great impediment. I like the keyboard, thus.

Ok it's expensive but it's also a very solid unit and I'm sure will stand the test of time. The keys require more pressure than a standard keyboard but I personally like this. I've been using the keyboard for several months now and can honestly say my hands/fingers have never felt fatigued as someone indicated in a recent review. The dial is great for Adobe Photoshop editing but a bit overkill for other app's but still I nice and more precise way of controlling volume or tabs. The illumination is great and there are no tell tale signs of any wear. Battery life is very good. I work 8-10 hours per day on this keyboard and it will last a full 5-6 days between charges with vigorous use.I opt to simply keep the USB charger on charge permanently now. Very sleek and highly recommended.
