I have used lock and lock containers for a number of years and have found them to be reliable and robust, even when both base and lid are washed in the dishwasher. My containers will probably have each gone through the dishwasher more than 100 times without any detriment to their performance.This particular item is the one that I have used the most in the entire range. It is perfect for storing so many things, such as sandwich fillings and left over contents of tins.The only negative I have about the entire range in general is that the containers use up a lot of space in the cupboard as their design does not easily allow storage - items that are the same size will not stack one inside the other because they have straight sides.

I have used lock and lock for years. I have faith in the product for I have never had anything spill out of them when I am travelling to and from work (or anywhere else for that matter). How disappointing it would be to find my dinner squelching about the bottom of my bag. The cheaper brands are not really that much cheaper (pence if anything) so I always stick with this brand for meeting my food container needs.

I have several of these. I use one as a butter dish (fits an average 250g supermarket block perfectly), another for keeping curtain hooks in and another for keeping all the spare screws & stuff that comes included with flat pack furniture, like allen keys and spare screws. I use the smaller (350ml) one for taking soap to the gym.They are very useful, keeps moisture out as well as in.

I do a lot of bulk cook-and-freeze, and these are by far my most preferred container. I've been using Lock & Lock for years. Although they quote a high number of open/close operations, the locking flaps do eventually break after years of use, leaving you with an intact container and a useless lid. It would be more sustainable if replacement lids were available.

Bought this to fit a 250g pat of butter. Love that I can microwave it and dishwasher it. Previous experience with L&L convinces me of their durability. I had a ceramic and bamboo butter dish previously and the ceramic's glaze developed dozens of tiny scrapes and chips over many dishwasher cycles, so it just wasn't hygienic.

I will never regret for buying this container and the similar ones (of the same brand). They are much better than I thought. Time and money saving as I do not have to waste so much food anymore and I do not have to go shopping all the time. I wish only they were more space-saving but I really do not mind!!!

Does what it says. keeps everything fresh in the fridge, freezer, cupboard.Can freeze, microwave and also dishwasher proof.Make sure of your sizes before you buy any of these items. I know people who didn't and things just don't fit where they wanted them to, or too small for practical use.

Lock and Lock are the very best in plastic containers. Excellent seal, and easy to open even when very cold. The 470ml size exactly fits a sachet of Felix cat food - so if you have only one cat you can use half a sachet per meal, and put the other half in the fridge to keep fresh.

We have now ordered 10 of these at separate times.In both cases the order was prompt.The 470ml size is just right for our needs - storing cheese etc in the fridge.They are sturdy, airtight and easy to open and close.I'd recommend this storage item to anyone.

These leak-proof storage boxes were delivered the day after ordering! They are ideal for freezing double portions of soup, sauces etc. and stack to take up less room in the freezer. The price is much lower than being charged in local shops. Good value

Lock & Lock are the best containers around. I put soup in this and it didnt leak. It is indeed totally air tight and very sturdy.If you need a container these are absolutely fantastic. You definitely get your moneys worth in quality and durability.

The BEST tupperware IMHO. Never leaks, even with olive oil inside. Has been through the dishwasher SO many times. I've had my old Lock and Lock tupperware for years and I've only had to buy more because some git a work stole mine :-0

These lids do not slip and you can pack them in a backpack without worrying if they will leak. However, they're a hassle because they don't stack, so they take up tons of room in your cupboards if you have more than a few.

Great little container. Truly airtight, so no liquid will spill from it.Be warned that it is pretty small: I wouldn't recommend 470ml for a one person lunch, but it's perfect for storing leftovers in your fridge.

I have many of these boxes already but needed a few more. They are perfect for storing anything that needs an airtight seal. Delivery time wasn’t important but they arrived quite quickly. Great value for money.
