I find this easy to use and easy to carry about as a waist belt - generally better than heavy and bulky D locks and I am pretty confident in the security although 'not stolen yet' is hardly an advert. I would be very surprised if this wasn't at least as good or better than an expensive D lock though. I've not tried carrying it any other way than around my waist and I don't imagine it would be that easy to carry in a bag or anywhere else. Well it would go in a bag but take up a good bit of space. So if you want a really sturdy lock this is great - but it IS very expensive. I don't regret my purchase though, and can't identify the problems of people who've had trouble with the lock.

Ignore the negative reviews - there's not a single bike lock in the world that can't be cut through with giant bolt cutters or and angle grinder in a few seconds. All you can do is deter the casual thief, all the professional thief needs to be somewhere out of sight and have the proper tools.What I love about this is the ability to wear it around the waist. I'm 6'2" and 14st , I found the large fitted fine. It's really easy to secure the bike. I would have preferred the green but currently out of stock everywhere. I went for the black, less visible but maybe more fitting if used as a belt? Really happy with the 'Gold' rating.

This is an excellent lock, it is sensibly lighter than others and feels secure. I went for the small version that still allows more room and flexibility to secure the bike compared to the shorter Original version (or D-locks). Another good feature is that it does not require a key to lock it but only to unlock it. The only issue I have is that although it can be used as a belt it is not particularly comfy, but maybe I am just too thin. I suppose in winter when wearing more clothes it might fit better.

I really like this lock. It’s light and strong as advertised.I have velcroed it to the frame of my bike with the ties provided.I haven’t found wearing it round my waist very convenient as a) I unwisely got it a size larger than my waist size so now it’s too big and b) it’s quite stiff so the thin elastic struggles to fasten it like a belt. I will experiment with a homemade Velcro belt fastening later on.

I like this lock, but because I’m overweight it doesn’t fit round my waist comfortably. It does squeeze neatly into the bike frame for storage - but it wouldn’t on my wife’s smaller bike and therefore we bought the usual D-lock combo for her. Has pros and cons vs the D-lock, nicest thing about it is that it’s different.

I haven’t used the lock as yet on my bike however it is well made and an interesting design. It’s wider than I had realised and less flexible than a simple cable design. I can see why an option is to wear it. I would be confident leaving my bike or motorcycle locked with this device.

Litelok have really looked at cycling and how to make a better lock and this is insurance rated too which for me is really important. I’m looking at getting at least one more as you can join them together which is neat.

Great lock, but arrived with minor cosmetic faults. You hope this would not be the case with such a high end product. However great locking and unlocking system, light and practical.

Fantastic lock, not quite as light weight as I had hoped, but very sturdy and no one has stolen my bike yet, which I regularly leave in a high risk of theft area by university.

Quality product, worth the price. An improvement I would make would be to add a button to release the lock rather than the useless tie clasps which I removed and binned.

Great lock, feels very secure and light to wear. I’m 32” waist and initially got the Medium but was way too big on me, very happy with the Small size.
