I think I once saw an advert for this with a fire breathing dragon - Well now I know why, this really is hot stuff, the first time I used it, I only used a small amount (around 10ml) and rinsed after brushing but how anyone can hold it in their mouths for 30 seconds I don't know, I tried to gargle but coughed at the same time and swallowed a tiny bit, I almost threw up and couldn't get rid of the taste for hours. (It does tell you on the bottle not to swallow and believe me they know what they are talking about!!). My subsequent attempts at rinsing and gargling have been more successful and I really have noticed a difference, my teeth do feel cleaner and it doesn't stain my teeth like the Corsodyl mouthwash that I usually use.

This product is geat. I had been using Listerine Spearmint which I was quite happy with, I then had a problems with my gumsand being almost time to renew my mouthwash I saw Listerie mouth and gum defence. Thought I'd give it a try. Wow it is really great. Cleared my gum problem and am now usiing daily. Yes, as some have said itdoes hav a'kick' in it - but be brave, if you shut your eyes and count quickly it soon passes and your mouth feels wonderful.Also like the cap,so easy to remove. Should add it tastes quite minty which is nice.

Listerine has changed! I remember it as the caustic stuff that made your mouth feel like burning coal. But this has a sweet, refreshing very minty taste. In fact, it is a bit too sweet for my taste; I don't like the sticky feel it leaves on the lips. So, this is a good, basic mouthwash. It doesn't contain the bells and whistles of some others. It doesn't whiten the teeth and it doesn't claim to remove all mouth bacteria. If you are not bothered about such things, then I can recommend it.

Well I believe it can strip away all the germs in my mouth. It tastes so strong I feel as though it's not too far from taking all the taste buds as well! The directions state using a 20ml amount but I only use half of this and still struggle to keep it in my mouth for thirty seconds. It's a huge bottle so not that useful if you're planning on travelling with it at all but if it's just going to sit in a (big) cabinet in the bathroom then it's great. Just strong. Really strong!

An excellent mouthwash - Listerine is my brand of choice as I've used it for many years and it's effective. I dislike the taste and the lingering aftertaste of Corsodyl but this is far more pleasant. The alcohol does make my mouth tingle and it's not always fun rinsing for as long as I should but my occurrences of mouth ulcers and gingivitis have decreased significantly since adding Listerine into my daily dental care regime.

i have always brushed my teeth with water once I've finished brushing with toothpaste. My dentist told me this is actually really bad as it removes the fluoride protection from the toothpaste, so i have started swilling with mouthwash afterwards - this has a nice minty clean smell which certainly helps my mouth feel clean and fresh, and I feel reassured that my teeth are protected between brushes.

a huge bottle of good value Listerine.I don't generally use this, so was pleasant be surprised when I tried it out for the first time. It's a refreshing mouthwash which personally I didn't find harsh as some of the other reviews.I've no idea whether the benefits claimed for it have any scientific validity, but it certainly pleasant enough if you like that sort of thing..

This is my favourite Listerine flavour which always leaves my mouth feeling clean and refreshed. I use quite a lot of it, and have to remember to buy more quite often so I love these large bottles, which last so much longer than the standard sizes you usually find in supermarkets and chemists

This is based on previous use of product as I have not received this order yet. My dentist recommended this a few years ago when I had a bit of gum disease, and I use it after drinking or eating anything. It keep my teeth and gums clean and healthy.

I've been using mouthwash fairly regularly on the advice of my dentist (floss, brush, then mouthwash at least twice a day). Listerine is a very solid option and the price here is half that I found in my local coop store. Very pleased with it.

Large bottle which makes it excellent value.It does have quite a strong taste.I found I could get by with half of the recommended 20ml.Taste does linger some while after use.Mouth and teeth certainly feel fresh and clean after use.

I prefer Listerine mouthwash and this one is bigger so whats not to like! When buying it in the supermarket an average size normally costs around the £3-£3.50 mark so this larger one is very reasonably priced.

Huge bottle for the price. Taste like the usual Listerine you get. It arrived quickly and well packaged. would definitely be buying again but it looks like some time before I could finish this bottle off.

I dont like the original flavour, this is the only listerine I like because of the strong sensational test, buying this for 2 years now. Good price in amazon and expensive on the high street shops.

An effective, mint-tasting mouthwash that is rather effective at making your mouth feel fresh.I have used Listerine a lot over the past, and will continue to do so. I certainly recommend it.
