The device is basically an on-site controller for multiple access points, allowing you to administer them off-site from wherever you are. It's useful in business settings, or for people who have multiple network devices, or who want a guest network for multiple users. Power can be provided via an Ethernet cable if you have access to a PoE port.The UI is serviceable, if not the best. It does the job though. This model is the base one, with the lowest dual-band speed. The next model up, the LAPAC1750C, gives you higher Wi-Fi throughput for not much more money.

This is essentially a signal booster for larger buildings. It is not a wifi router, if your first thought was that it was - like we did. You need to have a wifi source in the building, to which you can connect this cloud to boost signal in far away corners of the building.It's aimed at the business market, hence the price for what it is.Yes, it is powerful, straight forward to install and link, but it is essentially a signal booster.I badly wish the company that runs the trains on my commute would go for one or two of these...

We wanted to trial some Cloud Management systems for a new building sensor system, so needed something to manage multiple access points both within a building, but potentially across an number of sites.Easy to set up and manage using and pretty straightforward dashboard. It also allow for as much scaleability as we are likely to need.Accessible using pretty much any device and comes with a 5 year Cloud licence.Price is also coming down so that makes it an even more attractive proposition.

I'm afraid that I have not got to grips with the Cloud stuff. I am using this in my large home where others are and operate in other rooms.However, I am using this as a local access point, at which it works very well. I can keep a track on things.I am really not that bothered about the Cloud functions, but all I want to manage is local, and for that, this is a great piece of kit.

Very easy to set up. Using it in a domestic setting and simply plugged into Ethernet. Takes POE (power over Ethernet) which reduces wiring and gives a much better scope of placement. Coverage is good through at least two house walls. Can be ceiling mounted and looks smart. I have it pointing downwards in the lift so it is invisible

This system is great!Easy to set up and use, great instructions included.Worth every penny as it gives me peace of mind that I am keeping my family and home safe with this kit.Highly recommended.

Others have explained how to set this up.I took about 30-60 minutes to get it up and running and now it works like a dream. It a business type of access point and it seems quite robust.
