I originally bought one of these to set up as a security feature whilst I am away (turning it on and off at random times remotely). A week later and I have them in every room!! These are ace!! You don't need a hub and the app is brilliant. You can group the bulbs into areas (i.e. upstairs and downstairs) and set uniform settings for a group or control each bulb individually. They are BRIGHT! The colours are amazing and the effects and themes are really fun. I have set my bedroom one to come on at 6am on a dim setting and get brighter at 6.30am when it's time to get up, which means I can get rid of my ugly 'wake up' light! In the winter I plan to set all my upstairs lights to come on together so it makes getting up in the dark a whole lot easier!

I was looking for a WiFi controllable light, there were some lower priced ones but the reviews were just poor. This was bought at sale, full price is a bit pricy, and seemed reasonable. When I received it I was surprised at the weight of it.... It feels solid and a quality product, the app is slick and smooth and works perfectly. The set up process was faultless, the control of the light is really easy. I've a Google home set up and it just integrated really easily, the quality of light is amazing, the colour range is huge and dims. The white lights are spot on and bright too which was a surprise. The only fault was it advertised as nest integration, this isn't true.

This was my first ever smart lightbulb and I wanted to get something which would last and not cause any problems and is very versatile across different devices which this is as it can be used with Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant and even with Apple Home kit which not all smart technologies support.Besides this the set up process is quite simple and the lightbulb has been very responsive which is important for a smart lightbulb.However, I would like to say it is bright enough but I would prefer it to be slightly brighter as it can make the room feel slightly dim. But the colour feature is great and has the same brightness.Also regarding the price it would be better to be cheaper cause nearly £50

This lightbulb is simply amazing. It’s a great price, and LIFX products are always quality, no wonder they’re one of the biggest players in the smart lighting space!I was worried at first, the bulb looked way smaller than my previous smart bulb, would it be bright enough? Luckily, it was brighter than my previous one, and half the size and weight! (I am using it in a small room, I recommend a bigger model for larger rooms)The LIFX app works seamlessly at setup with Apple HomeKit, so I had my device setup in no time. The app brightness/warmth/colour controls are instant, no delay!There are themes, effects and scenes, you can also schedule events at certain times.All in all, a great bulb,

Initial steps to setup can be a little complicated if your a technophobe but for those with a little confidence it will be acheived quite simply.I just currently use this light in my bedroom and have it set via my samsung s9 to wake up slowly for my early shifts....easier on the eyes.Can also confirm alexa (either dot or the alexa phone app) can control this device via voice commands. IOS can also control via the Home app.The LIFX app for android has some good features...the best one i find is the music visualizer - play music and it dances around to beat. Even has a strobe feature which makes people laugh.I voted down the value for money as £35 for a lightbulb, regardless if it has wifi etc built in,

Got this on sale during Prime Day for my first smart bulb - really glad I did! The app is great, integrates really nicely with Google Home. You can activate scenes using voice control as well. Goes brighter than expected with an easy 1-100% dimmable control, also via voice command. Covers the whole colour spectrum and has a few fun presets too (such as colour wheel/rainbow, strobe, flicker and halloween modes)! Will be considering a couple more for another room in my house when next on sale, not sure if I'd buy at full price to cover my house, but for the Prime Day price, good value for money!

I had three old LIFX bulbs and have recently moved as well as upgraded my internet. For some reason the old bulbs refused to work on the new network so recycled them. Bought four new LIFX bulbs for the cinema room, lounge, office and bedroom. Each took less than 5 minutes to setup, each works on 'Homekit' and I can now have lovely low tone light in these rooms. I am not a person for a lot of bright light. I like to control the temp and colour of the light in my rooms. LIFX are great bulbs at reasonable prices and really easy to set up.

Very impressed with my lightbulb. Very simple to set up, I downloaded the app which can be easily found and used with both android and iOS. The app guides you through the simple steps to connect your lightbulb to your wifi and to your Alexa. I set mine up in less then 10 minutes. The app has everything you need to adjust the colour/brightness/themes/effects. I loved the daylight colour option. It was great for grey/dark days, whilst working at home, as It made me feel like it was a brighter day.

After some trouble connecting to the bulb (maybe because I lost the bit of paper that came with it), it is now super easy to change the colour and even the tone of colour. My favourite feature is setting a daily or weekly schedule so it automatically turns on/off at dusk/dawn or at specific times. Will be useful when we are away to Programme it to turn on at various times. Pretty bright even in daylight too. The price is competitive but even better as no need to buy a hub. Very pleased!

Really good smart bulb, so much better than the Kasa bulb I was using before. I like all the features they have on the app. Only problem is that I had to make adjustments to my light fitting to get it to fit properly.These are definitely over priced for what they are and I almost feel like part of the extra cost is the packaging.The bulb comes in a really nice, smart cylindrical tube with a lid. I'd rather have a different box if it meant I was paying less.

Excellent item, very easy to install and control through the app or Alexa, anyone who is complaining that needs resetting, they probably did something wrong, in nearly a year and a house move(but same WiFi details), still works.You'll have to connect it to internet on the 2.4GHz, so you might need to play a little bit with your router WiFi settings! Personally I renamed both frequencies 2.4 and 5GHz because initially had the same name.Very happy with it.

I now wonder how I ever managed without this light bulb.It’s incredibly easy to set up using the app and Alexa and unlike other smartbulbs requires no hub and just a WiFi network.Once set up you can turn it on either by asking Alexa or using the app on your phone or Apple Watch.You can choose from 100’s of different colours and themes. (See attached screenshots from the app).I absolutely love this product and for the price it’s amazing value.

Got this light as wanted to update and i was amazed. Simple set up, just replace the old bulb, download the app,connect to wifi and you are good to go. App is easy to use with loads of options, colour variation or choice of pre set modes. Beside light dim, strobe light it also got sensor which reacts with music. Bulid quality is good, holding the bulb feels solid and durable. I would highly recommend this product as its great value for money.

This light looks smart and comes well packaged in a nice compact container. Feels like a quality build and it's energy saving too. Its really easy to set up with both Alexa & Google assist. The colour range is excellent (so many shades of white too). You can dim the lights as well as making it brighter. It also has a flashing or phasing in & out option. So impressed with this light I need to get more for my home!

Every light bulb in my house is a Lifx bulb. I've been using them since 2013 when they were only available in the USA.Brilliant bulbs which I highly rate.I use them with Logitech Pop Switches which have replaced all the wall light switches in my house too.Only downside is they are quite expensive to buy (cheap to run).Love the way they seamlessly integrate with Samsung Smartthings and Alexa.
