Ideal for those walking in remote locations who need a little extra piece of mind. We chose this as it is lightweight and after watching Youtube were convinced that carrying this was a good idea. We have been in a situation where one of our party broke an ankle on a walk in the Yorkshire Dales. Help can be a long time coming and shock and the weather can quickly take a dramatic toll on a casualty, I am sure that if we had carried one of these, our casualty would have been a lot safer and more comfortable. This will keep two people safe, warm and very visible if the worst should happen. I would recommend this product.

It potentially saved my life while I was out hiking on the Welsh Black Mountains, Was cold and wet and 3/4 of the way to our destination when my friend had to go back and find his jacket with his keys for the van and wheel lock and also his wallet in it, It was getting dark and I was there for 45 minutes waiting for him with the wind howling, this kept me warm and safe, Very grateful I bought it last minute, it was a no brainer, Just Get It!

I hope I never need to use this survival shelter but I have checked it out and it is easy to unfold and use. It will be cosy for two people especially with rucksacks but you won't worry about that if you ever need to use it. The shelter packs away really small (230mm x 100mm) but can easily be further squashed to about 200mm x100mm if necessary and it weights just 372g.

Always had one of these in my rucksack when out walking. They are extremely useful not just for bad weather but for lunch stops when it's windy or cold.
