I had issues with the seatpost velcro strap from other bags slowly eating through my shorts. I began my search to see what my options were, and it lead me to this little gem - a bag with no seatpost strap. The medium is still pretty small, but for me it holds: 1 700x23 tube (or 1 29'er 2.1" MTB tube), 2 tire levers, 1 CO2 canister, a *flat* multitool like a Lezyne V10, a patch kit, a micro CO2 nozzle, a tire boot, some cash, and an emergency GU packet. After all these item are in, the bag is stuffed. It has 4 special pockets, one for the flat multitool on the bottom, 2 slots for the tire levers on the right inside wall, and 1 slot on the left inside wall for the CO2 cartridge. That leaves the bulk of the main cavity for your tube and other stuff. At a paltry 91 grams, it's pretty much exactly my dream bag. There were 2 very minor issues, but both are no big deal. First, the metal zipper tab rattles. To fix this, just tuck it under the first layer of velcro as you strap the bag to your saddle rails. Done! Second, no mini bike pump I've seen is short enough to fit in this bag. That just means you'll have to mount it to your frame, or toss the pump in your jersey pocket. Neither issues are big enough to keep this from being a 5 star bag.

This is the older version of this bag, which I have used for a few years now. I have several items from Lezyne and they all work well with thought, sleek design.Pros:-Material is light weight-Attaches to the bike through the seat rails, no strap around the seatpost. This keeps the bag very close to the seat.-Easily removed and placed on another bike-Thoughtful design (pockets inside for levers and an external pocket for multi tool)-Water resistant design (may or may not be waterproof to some extent)Cons:-Must open the straps which attach the bag to the rails in order to get the multi tool out (Yes, I realize I said the outside pocket was smart design, but I do not feel like this is contradictory)-Zipper can 'jingle'while riding, so it must be wedge in between where the straps meet the bag (not a big deal, but wanted to mention it. On the newer version of this bag, they replaced the metal zipper flange with a rubber coated thin rope (an improvement in my eyes)Neither Pro nor Con but Observation:-Bag really meant to hold just the essentials (I have 2 tubes, 2 levers, and a multi tool in mine).

This bag is everything I was looking for (medium size):-a saddle bag small enough to carry my heavier items (Crank brothers multi-tool, 2 Park tool tire levers, ID, cash, 2 CO2 cartridges, and CO2 inflator head). This bag fit all those above. It took some rearranging but eventually, I found the right positioning for each item. I carry my 2 spare tubes in my jersey because they are so light I can barelt feel them back there (along with my phone and gels.)-a bag narrow and flat enough so as to leave room to attach my rear light to my seat post. My Topeak bag curves downward and takes up too much seat post real estate to attach my light. This Lezyne is flat enough along the bottom to leave enough room for my light. It also looks sleek and minimal compared to my Topeak. The strap is velcro and it is quite strong. I have no worries about it coming loose or falling off while riding. All in all, I love this bag already!

The bag is well-made although I wouldn't be trying to hang a potato bag on the zipper. It's a minimalist design so obviously there is a dose of delicacy to it. I bought a medium size bag for a mountain bike and wanted to confirm that like another reviewer pointed out it fits (barely, but it does) a spare tube (29''), two of those long thingies for taking of a tire, both wet and dry patch kit (but the wet without the little box it came in), a few bandaids and alcohol wipes (they are very flat anyway), and the Topeak The Mini 9-Function Bicycle Tool. The bag attaches to the seat securely although if you will be taking that thing on and off a lot, I'd suggest getting something else.I don't plan to be removing it a lot and even if I did I'm fine with the tight wrap-around velcro which minimizes bag movement to a minimum. Any plastic attachment mechanism used on a mountain bike is going to break sooner or later.

This bag is small. That said, it's exactly what I wanted. It tucks well under the saddle (and I have my saddle pushed almost all of the way forward on a zero setback seat post). I have two of these, one on my mountain bike (29er) and one on my road bike. I am able to (barely) fit a spare tube, C02 inflator with at least one cartridge, and two tire levers inside the pouch and a small bike tool (Topeak The Mini 9-Function Bicycle Tool) in the pocket on the exterior of the bag. Keep in mind that many standard tools will be a little long for the pocket, but will probably fit well enough to stay put...I also have a Crank Brothers multi tool (not sure if it's the 17 or 19 function)which fits just well enough for the velcro to barely grab and another Topeak (Topeak Hexus II Multi-tool, I think) which is too long. Overall, i am really happy with this bag!

Great bag. Fits snugly under the seat. Great choice for mountain bikes with a dropper post, as it doesn't hang too low to rub the back tire on compression and it doesn't attach to the seat post, so it can drop without interference. I was surprised to fit more in this tiny bag than I did in my previous larger bag. The tool pouch underneath is great for holding a bike multitool like a CrankBrothers. I have a larger multitool and it fit well. The extra-wide hook-and-loop straps that loop around the bars under the seat are excellent and hold the bag firmly in place. You can pull on the straps a bit and it will pull it up further under the seat. The only reason I give this bag only four stars is because the zipper could be considerably better. It's not horrible and works, but it's difficult to use and I could see it breaking if you tug on it a bit.

This is the best emergency repair bag I have ever had. It is lighter than any other bag I've had, and fits snugly up against the bottom of my seat (in between those two bars).Inside I was able to tightly fit:One (1) energy gelOne (1) Park Tool MT-1 Rescue Wrench (a very flat, minimalist multi-tool)One (1) Spare 700c inner tubeTwo (2) C02 Cartridges - 16 grams eachOne (1) CO2 inflatorTwo (2) Tire leversThere really isn't much room for much else in the bag. If you need to fit more stuff, you need a bigger bag.The straps hold the rig very securely but I use a very small ultralight bungie cord to eliminate the little wiggle that is there and for added protection from it slipping loose. This is probably overkill, but I am paranoid and the fraction of a gram added still makes the bag lighter than anything I've seen.I'm very happy.

I found the Micro Caddy Saddle Bag to be just the right size. I can fit a spare tube, some patches, tire boots, tire levers and a small multi-tool or fix-it sticks. Just what I need and no room for anything else. This is great for me since the things in the bag are not used often but are invaluable when you need them. Things I carry and use frequently (phone, wallet, food, etc) are kept in a jersey pocket for easy access. The saddle bag tucks up tight against the bottom of the seat rails and does not come in contact with the seat post. I like this much better than a larger, dangling, saddle bag. Having the bag up tight and out of the way also makes it more convenient when putting the bike on a repair standI got the newer version of the saddle bag, different than the one pictures as of this writing. I really like the version I received.

This bag is small. You should know that going into the purchase. I have to literally jam 1 road tube, 1 tire lever, and a small multi-tool into the bag (I can jam a patch kit and house key in there too). Everything else goes into a jersey pocket. That being said, that is exactly what I wanted. The big upside is that this bag secures to the saddle rails with an elastic/nylon/velcro strap. There is no seatpost strap to get in the way, snag shorts, or scrape legs. Because of the secure strap, the bag doesn't bounce around on a ride either. If you need a giant saddle bag, this isn't it. If you need enough room for the essentials and hate house-sized bags swinging back and forth off your saddle, look into the Lezyne Micro Caddy.

LEZYNE products are made with quality and performance. I've purchased several items (e.g. Floor Pump/Micro Pump) and they all work better than any other brand I've used. I ride 10,000 annually and use this saddle bag 99% of my rides. It tucks in under you saddle with ease and the large diameter velcro strap keeps it there. I keep a tube, 2 wide plastic tire irons, mini tool, and a chain tool in the convenient zippered pouch. Additionally, it's been through some pretty wet conditions and keeps my $20 bill nice and dry!Note: There are several other LEZYNE saddle bags and I have the Road Caddy Saddle Bag as well.I would recommend this bag if you're needing only the bare basics for a short local ride close to home.

Holds my road tube, one tire lever, one CO2 cartridge, a small inflator, a small patch kit and a very simple multitool (Park MT-1). There is also a small pocket on the bottom with a velcro flap that you could keep a car key fob or multitool in. It straps directly to the saddle rails and tucks up against the bottom of the saddle. Seems to be pretty water resistant but I have not tested it as of yet. I used to keep my phone in my (old, larger) saddlebag but now store it in my jersey pocket inside one of those plastic cases (jersey bin). This new system is working much better since I have easy access to my phone. They make bigger and (one) smaller size bags if your needs very.Quality is excellent.

This is the only well designed saddle bag I've owned. I've had topeak, specialized, pedros, more... All of the others either sway and/or let stuff inside rattle and vibrate. The Velcro strap around the outside of this has some elastic that keeps everything tight. I fit a tube, two CO2 cartridges, a Co2 inflator, small patch kit, two tire levers, small multi-tool, and a couple wet-naps. Plus in the little Velcro pouch underneath I keep a hammer gel. I like the fact that it's tight and compact and doesn't need Velcro around the seatpost. The only problem I've had is the zipper wore out after a couple years of use. Bought another without hesitation so I'm not knocking off any stars.

My boyfriend is an avid roadie. He commutes to work every day and puts in about 100-120 miles on the weekends. He told me:1. The bag is silent. No rustling, no swooshing...silent.2. The bag fits well under his saddle. It doesn't sway or rub his saddle, legs or seatpost.3. The material is durable without being stiff.4. There are internal compartments for your tire iron and multi-tool.He only likes to carry the absolute essentials so the size works for him. It is very compact so make sure you check the dimensions before ordering.

Just used this bag on a group ride tonight and loved that I didn't hear a single rattle from the few items in the bag. Furthermore, it is compact enough so I never rubbed my shorts against it.The medium is relatively small, I have enough room for a tire lever, a couple small patch kits, a presta adapter, a pen, my house keys and my cell phone. My only disappointment was that this bag was too shallow to fit my Lezyne mini pump. Your only option for a bag this size is a CO2 cartridge pump.Still, a great little bag.

This thing is compact alright! I bought the micro and it fits the bare essentials. In mine, I have 1 spare inner tube, a Crank Brothers M19 multitool, 2 Park tool tire levers, 1 CO2 cartridge (with some gorilla tape wrapped around it) and head, a pair of disposable gloves and a patch kit. Again, only what I consider the bare essentials and it is tight. I put a little bit of grease on the zipper before I closed it up and it secures neatly under my saddle.I don't know why the picture uploaded sideways though.
