There are some really cheap, really nasty mini bicycle pumps for sale. This isn't one of them. It's a metal-bodied, nicely finished unit that can generate a serious pressure. Although it's not obvious from the pictures, the pump body expands in use, so the stroke length is longer than it would appear. The pump is supplied with a bottle-cage mounting bracket, which includes a Velcro fastener with a buckle. So far, it has been perfectly secure. Be careful when putting the pump away in the mount, because it's easy to stow it upside down, and then the whole thing opens up when riding. For idiots like me, it could do with a "this way up" arrow. The pump has a proper tube adapter -- it doesn't just press onto the valve like cheap ones. The adapter stows away inside the body, so it doesn't make the whole thing any bigger. There's no pressure gauge, but I'm not sure it's possible to make an accurate gauge this size. All in all, the pump feels solid and well-made. Unless you're really hard up for cash, I really can't see why anybody would buy a cheap plastic pump instead of one of these.

Good, high quality pump. I've only tested it at home, not on the open road with an actual flat, but it pumped strong when tested. (I figure it would take about 150 to 160 strokes to get enough air into a road tube with this.) I will use it as a backup for my CO2 system. It replaces an 8 year old mini Blackburn SL which was never good (but it was tiny--about an inch shorter than this) at pumping air, and could not be relied on any longer.I have it attached to my frame with the bracket it came with. It's maybe an inch too long to fit in most jersey pockets without worrying about it falling out on a bumpy ride. I suppose you could try to secure it inside your pocket somehow, but I just put it on the bracket.Looks good on my black Bianchi. As mini pumps go, this one is high quality and as effective as can be expected. I also like that it has a Schraeder fitting on one end of the hose, in case you ever have to help out a cyclist who has flatted with a Schraeder.

I bought one of these little pumps on Friday before doing an overnight cycling challenge Saturday night. I had a puncture 8 miles in, and the cycling mechanic kindly changed my inner tube. He said he put about 80psi in and that I should use the track pump which would be available at the next water stop to top it up.Well, the track pump was nowhere to be seen, so out came my little pump. It has a rubbery hose so no worries about breaking the valves. The aluminium-ended hose screws onto the valve and within a few easy pumps I had my tyre nice & hard again (I usually run them at about 110 psi). A quick press of a little button releases air pressure in the hose and the pump was back on my bike.My pal who also had a puncture used it to top his tyre up. The pump says it will do up to 120 psi and I believe it.The bracket is good, the pump does rattle a little but overall I'm well chuffed and will not be without this in future.

This pump is not cheap, but it is engineered very well and is about as efficient as you could expect for its size. It looks very nice but it also functions wells. I was concerned paying such an amount for a pump of this size but it does what is expected, looks great attaches to the bike via the water bottle bracket. I also have a smaller pump that is pocket sized but this one has a little more ooomph when pumping up tubes/tyres. I will add a photo comparing it to 6x4 inch photo and a small Lezyne Alloy Drive pump to show how it compares with the smaller version. The Tech drives is the black pump. The best part about this pump is the seperate hose attachment for the valve, this really does make life easier when inflating the tubes. All in all, expensive, but you do get a quality functional item for the money. It will never match a track pump but for on the road purposes it is very good.

Returned the first one I received due a small leak near the end where the plastic's mold seams meet with the metal cylinder. This made it difficult to pump after around 100 strokes because air was escaping at what seemed to be near the same rate as I was pumping. The second one has a tiny leak at the same point, but it's very minor. I'm able to get my 28mm front tire to a rideable pressure in around 130 strokes.Seems to be really well designed and made, other than the seal where the outer cylinder and plastic end piece meet. The flexible hose that stores inside the pump is such a nice feature. I measured the pump to be 3.7oz (104.9 grams); plenty light for me.Overall I think it's a great pump.

Bought with 2 other HV mini pumps from another manufacturer. This is mostly plastic and the lightest, so it'll be on my road bike.I feel it may not be durable enough for any serious mountain biking if frame-mounted, but that's just my initial impression, and not based on actual experience. It'll certainly fit in any decent sized camelback as part of your kit.I intend to use the other (manufacturer) pumps for my mtn bikes since they're both aluminum construction, and appear more durable and serious trail-capable of abuse.

I was looking for a pump for my hybrid bike, and decided to go with LezynePros:- Hose design makes it very easy to attach to the tire stem. I'd never go back to another design- Small, lightweight, high volume version- Affordable priceCons:- There is not a great place to grip this pump. Your hands will be sweaty after a ride, and at higher pressure there are simply no edges or lips to push your hand against- Can't handle 120psi+ of road bikes - you might want to get the HP drive model instead

Bought this item to carry when travelling as standard hand pump couldnt cope at all well with the high pressure tyres I use.(At home I use large stirrup / stand up style).Overall I think it is excellent, & I'm very pleased I got it. (only days after it arrived I had my first puncture that need immediate attention away from home in ages). I found it coped very well indeed & much easier to inflate tyre to good usable pressure. Definitely worth the extra money!

smaller than I thought it would be but that is good it fits in bike bag nicelylooks and feel of quality built but finish does not feel like metal more like chrome plated plastic but could be metal like advertisedgood to have in emergencies would not use it as a daily pump it takes way too longit does what it is meant for and I like it and recommend italmost forgot I love the fact that it has a fixture to fit under and to the side of the water bottle.

I'm giving it four stars because I believe there is room for improvement. A way to brace it against the wheel or ground without damaging the tube would be great. Also, the pump handle readily slides open when you're not using it. There should be a way to lock it in place.Otherwise I'm happy with this. I bought it instead of the micro-drive floor pump because the built-in "Pen Guage" is available. It makes for a smaller, lighter unit to carry with!

High quality bike pump. Machined metal parts leads one to think that it is much better than other brands of hand pumps. Easy to operate. Quality experience pumping up tire. Other types equals a poor experience as the the flip lever is not a sure concoction to the bicycle tube and can to lead to unhappy thoughts. Why ruin a nice day with cheaper pumps. Buy Cheap Buy again. Buy this quality pump instead of other inferior types.

Excellent pump - pretty easy to get decent enough PSI to make it home comfortably. One potential "flaw" in the design is that the flexible portion of the pump screws into the hard casing for travel purposes. This is fine, except that when I packed it externally in my saddle bag, that part of the pump unscrewed and fell out during my ride. Shouldn't be a problem if you mount the pump or put it in your back pocket.

This pump is very easy to use and minimized the risk of breaking your valve stem. It is fairly large so you will have to mount it on your bike rather than carry it in a jersey pocket. Perhaps the small would fit. I bought the medium to quickly fill large volume 29er tires in the event of a puncture. On a 29x2.3 tire 100 pumps yielded slightly over 20psi and it never got hard to pump.

It's in my bag at all times in case of a flat, and already saved me once. It doesn't fill the tire really fast, and you need quite a bit of force to go really high pressure (HP) but I could put at least 5.5 bars in my tyre. Good build quality, and good attachment to Presta valves. Wouldn't use it as replacement for my floor pump with a gauge, but that's not why it's designed for.

Wanted a small but needed next day delivery, ended up with a medium but very pleased with the size and the quality. The medium size gives me enough room to hold the bottom of the pump without the plunger hitting my hand and giving good stability whilst pumping. I was forced into choosing a medium size but very pleased I was as the pump I received is still very compact.
