I have purchased these sticks for our Antarctic trip and have been able to use them well. Handy that I had them myself and did not have to borrow from the expedition staff. They come in a handy case that can be rolled up small and put in your (backpack) pocket. The only tricky thing was that it was difficult for me to remove the protective caps from the points and that you could easily get rid of them. Furthermore, the wristbands are of a different / lesser quality than I am used to from my cross-country poles. But as said, I'm glad I bought them.

Perfect for my recent trip to Peru hiking the Inka Trail. Lightweight yet strong and they fold up nice and small into a stuff bag - so much easier for travelling! I've always used Leki poles and these don't disappoint.

These are excellent poles - very light, and once you get the hang of them are simple to collapse and put away.They do their job well!
