This fighter looks similar to Plo Koon's and Windu's from the box, but the build is quite different and the final ship is 1 1/2 inches longer and stands a bit taller. It's very sturdy for Legos. Dark green and white with black and gold trim look elegant--looks like a Lexus compared to Windu's Corolla. The rounded cockpit has a computer screen and detaches as an escape pod (leaving the droid to explode with the ship). The legs of the shorter Jedi minifigure can't bend but can fit in the cockpit the same as the other Jedi. A piece underneath the ship holds 1 lightsaber. Has 2 missiles on top and 2 on bottom in an "X" shape if looking at the front. An awesome ship, highly recommended. (Does come w/

Lego has released a few different versions of the Jedi Starfighter, with Anakin's, Plo Koon's, Mace Windu's, and Ahsoka Tano's all having come out in the past couple of years. But this one is even better. It's longer than the others, and the cockpit can even "eject" from the main body. It also comes with Saesee Tinn, who until now was only available in the Jedi Shuttle set. His green Astromech droid is also a great figure to add to any collection. There are some stickers on this set (ugh), but not too many. It also has 4 flick-fire missiles. Get this set while you can.

I bought this when it was on sale and of course I loved it. No boy ever out grows Legos. I'm 22 and in law school and still love building Legos. This one was unique. It isn't a ship or Jedi that you see or hear a lot about which for some can be a draw back. It's a medium size build and a lot of fun to put together. Legos are always a great gift for a young boy. Never once have I ever had pieces missing from a set or had difficulty in assembly. This is a great set for the money.

This is a slightly different set than the Star Wars legos we normally get like remakes of the X-wing. This design has already been done of course as recently as Plo Koon's fighter but this is expected since all the jedi have similar designed ships. This is a step up over past ones however as the cockpit can actually be pulled off as a type of ejection seat. All in all a good set.

Had my six year not of had a broken arm, he probably could have put this together. But we did it for him and it was not any worse than any other Lego. It does tend to stay together better than many Legos. My son loves the green astromech and the fact that the ship can separate into two with the pilot flying the back half and the droid flying the front half.

I ordered this from Amazon.com and it is an excellent set. The starfighter is a completely new design, longer than previous models, and features an easily detachable escape pod (best ship feature). Another plus is that the set comes with Even Piell, an exclusive. I find no flaws in any aspect whatsoever. A+++.

Got this for six year old. He built it within a few hours with limited supervision and help. Loves playing with it, enjoyed having multiple characters to play with.Lego has a new (to me) system of bagging parts in groups to assist with the first build. I think this works great, especially for younger kids.

We have a load of Lego Star Wars products and other Lego kits, but for some reason the boys have enjoyed playing with this one more than many others. It is detailed and complicated enough to be interesting, but solid enough that they can run around the house on missions without it breaking. Thumbs up.

My son wanted this Lego set and it's been on the top of his wish list for a while. I haven't seen a better deal on it anywhere and I saved a good deal off of what my local big box store wanted for the exact same toy. I don't think anyone can beat the prices that amazon.com offers on Lego's products.

If he loves it I'm a happy camper. Well made but slightly expensive. If you have children or grandchildren Lego's are a great gift. Lego's will enhance their creativity...after they have made the Starfighter they can be used to build something else of their own design. He loved it!

This is the latest Jedi Starfighter kits & I like it a lot. The R2 unit is a full figure now & the landing gear seems to hold in place a bit better. Lego continues to improve all of the ships to look more & more like what is in the TV show or movies.

I bought this LEGO Star Wars set for my 8 year old son and I couldn't have made him happier. It's a great piece, excellent quality, the dream set of any kid fond of blocks and Star Wars saga. Endless hours of imaginative play at a very fair price!

I was amazed that with all the Lego my 8 year old grandson has that he did not have this one yet. He was thrilled to receive it and excited that this Star Wars set was new for him to do. Kudos to Lego was coming out regularly with new sets!

Loved it very much, a key set for a collector as me, i love to collect all the star wars jedi starifghter that exist until now and this one was excellent all of it the minifigures the droid and was veru funny to built it congratulations
