Lego kick off their 2009 releases with a series of kits from The Clone Wars which includes this great Hyena Droid Bomber.Essentially a larger version of the Vulture droid, the Droid Bomber has the same versatility as it's smaller counterpart but with more firepower.The fighter features positionable wings for flight mode, assault mode (wings split open) and the whole wing assemblies move downwards to convert to walking mode.The head on the right hand side elevates up for walking mode. There are two missile racks under the right hull. Each one deploys two missiles in much the same fashion as the missiles on last year's 7878 Droid Gunship. When you pull the level backwards the two missiles simply fall downwards.The fighter has a wingspan of 24 cm,

I bought this lego kit for my sons 7th birthday not knowing whether he could build it or even like it . I need not have worried as he absolutely loves it . it took a bit longer for him to build than usual but I was on hand to assist when required (which wasn't much) . this was not just fun to build but he also plays with it more than any other lego product as it is very articulate with lots of moving parts and different forms the ship can be made into . sometimes the end of the wing comes off when rotating it into a different position but is easy to push back on and it's probably just down to a 7 year olds technique and frequency of altering the thing around .

My 7-year-old was pleased with this addition to his growing star wars lego collection, and since building it has played with it daily. But he finds it extremely frustrating that it is really not up to being played with as the legs fall off repeatedly, especially when transforming from a flying ship to a walker. This means that most of his battles are interrupted with a quick re-build.Printed pieces rather than stickers would have been preferable for durability but overall its a nice set to build up your droid armies with.

It's a good product from a well estabished toy manufacturer. It's easy to build and the legs fold together for flying and easily unfold for walking. I found the legs do come off quite ofton but my son easily clips them on.Overall a good addition to any Lego Star Wars set.Have fun.

My son loved the lego. He is autistic and it is important for him that the toy is the same as the boxplay, and it was perfect.Easy instructions to put together time and time again.You can even order the little bits from lego if you lose them

I purchased this for my Nephews 11 Birthday and wondered if it would be a little young for him, but he loves it. The pieces are small so make it more tricky to put together which is great for the older child. Plenty of hours of fun to be had.

My son enjoys three toys as his favourite two of which are Lego and Star Wars therefore this does the trick. keep the assembly instructions makes life easier after it has been tipped into the toy box but then required two months later

My son loves his Lego full stop but he enjoyed making and playing with this item. He is collecting the Star Wars items but only the smaller sets and then he makes his own things to interact with them.Great toys.

As with all Lego sets, my grandson was thrilled with this toy. He gets hours of fun playing with lego and these more complicated versions maintains his interest has he is getting older

My 7 year old grandson was delighted with this Lego set and had no trouble in following its instructions when assembling it.

Only gave 4 stars because bought as a present so can't really review it but have had no complaints fro recipient.

Package arrived on time, the original box is undamaged. There is no missing piece, everything is correct.
