This is a set with step by step instructions that are easy to follow if you can read or follow diagrams. You get to create two vehicles and there are three characters. They are not huge vehicles and bits will come off if they are played with too roughly so best for slightly older children. My grandson who is five can do kits like this with a lot of adult guidance while my ten-year-old granddaughter is not at all interested so it does tend on the child's interest. My older grandsons were similarly different in their interest in lego the younger one could do kits like this by himself at 7 or 8 years old while the older one had no interest at all. They do require a good level of concentration andan ability to follow instructions so they are educational and help children develop these skills. My grandson likes to keep his built and plays gently with his vehicles tat he has but keeps them on a shelf when he isn't playing with them. They also make sure that the instructions, box, and bits do get put away together safely otherwise it is a bit like a jigsaw with bits missing, it loses its attraction. Others like to create their own constructions so they are not worried about keeping the parts for the kits separately. This is a good quality lego kit that is easy to build if you follow the instructions

I got this set for my eight year old nephew who loves all things Lego. The set contains velocity racers with plane and bike speeders. This includes three mini-figures who battle inside the Prime Empire video game: Digi Jay, Digi Lloyd and villainous Hausner rat creature from Rat Pack.Everything seems to be high quality as expected from Lego.Upon giving my nephew the toy set, he was really excited and told me about how he loves the "Lego Ninjago" tv series.Well now he has the toys, he likes to re-enact everything he’s seen on TV!He has hours of imaginative fun with this set and absolutely loves the blades on Lloyd's bike. He also likes how the plane has extra wings that can be flipped up.Warning: This set does contain very small parts,so it's definitely only suitable for ages 7+ as suggested.Overall, great quality toys from Lego as always. My nephew is happy so I am too! Would certainly recommend.

What a bad time to be reviewing children's toys, when we aren't allowed to see our grandchildren! Fortunately there's always Skype, and so we know how excited our grandson is at the prospect of making the Lego when we eventually get to see him.Ninjago is his favourite kind of Lego, and he has a huge diorama (is that the right word?) in his bedroom already. Dragons, a temple, Ninjas, he loves them all and these will go with it nicely (even though the time period is totally different). He has already had similar vehicles (we got him some for Xmas) and so I know that they're straightforward to put together (he's 9) and are sturdy once completed. I've yet to meet a child who doesn't like Lego, you really can't go wrong with it can you? And unlike everything else these days it relies on something that all children have, but which so often is forgotten about... Their imagination.Best toy ever, bar none.

I am an adult and have really got into Lego lately. I find it therapeutic and helps relax my mind (i suffer anxiety and over think). I liked it as a child but not as much as i do now. It is sturdy and if you're following the instructions it's easy. It starts off looking like it won't make anything like what it's supposed to but then it takes form and you can't help but feel a certain sense of achievement. My nephew loved it too, he helped me start it off via SKYP (he is 7 and we're all in lock down) and he loved the design and the Ninjago theme. I have posted it to him now so he can play with it while in lock down. It is a colourful set and really fun to build. This set is for children 7+ and is great quality as you would expect from Lego.I highly recommend this set, great fun!

This is high quality lego- exactly what you’d expect with ninjago lego, and this item was no exception. My 8 year old absolutely loves lego so he was thrilled to get started with this- he had everything all made up within a couple of hours. I’m by no means saying this was standard or straight forward lego- just that a lego enthusiastic would get along with this quite quickly.Pieces are well made and appear durable for plenty of hours of fun.Colours are really bright and engaging, whilst instruction manual is step-by-step and very clear to follow.Price is reflective of this type of lego and I still feel good value for money. My 8 year old absolutely loved it,saying it was one of his favourite to complete- so I’d definitely be happy to recommend.

I like this Lego set! It features a Digi Jay, Digi Lloyd, and Hausner minifigures. The outfits for the ninja figures are awesome! The Hausner fig has a nice visor. The vehicle builds are Jay’s velocity racer, Lloyd’s velocity racer, and the Hausner’s hover board. A cool feature is how you can take Jay’s sword and put it in Jay’s velocity racer, and when you turn it the wings pop out of the velocity racer. I also like the big wheel on the back of Lloyd’s velocity racer. I also like the cool weapons you get in the extra parts of this Lego set, such as swords and game console weapons.

The boys were excited to play with this one. They are both 8 and are veterans in the Lego world with plenty of kits under their belts. S can put them together so easily and H likes the play after they have assembled them. I like the combination of the plane and bike speeders and the added figures etc. The boys played happily during construction and afterward which is great under the lockdown restrictions. As usual well made and the kit has all you need unless of course, you intend to buy all of the other linked Lego series.

My six year old is in love with Ninjago lego and we wanted a mid price set for him. This one does not disappoint. It comes with a bike and a mini jet and 3 mini figs. The set is easy to assemble, my six year old did it with minimal help. He really enjoys it. I have not shown the 3rd mini figure in my photo. This is one of the latest sets and is perfect for any Ninjago fan. It helps them be creative and also to play with physical toys ... which is a rare thing these days. Great set and good value for money.

Great box set, you get 2 vehicles plus 3 characters from ninjago. My boy loves it and the lego set is just what he expected. A bit over 300 pieces is actually very easy to ensemble. The pieces are very different and easy to find so this was great for his independent work. Comes with some stickers for the vehicles plus some extras. Looks really cool, moves well with the massive wheels it comes with and the wings also move. Very interesting and appealing with the bright colours.

My son was delighted with this set. He found the instructions easy to understand and was so happy that it was two vehicles, which made it feel like to sets of Lego. The two vehicles are separately packed and each come with their own instructions. So you can build one now and one later. As usual with Lego, the colours are bright and the pieces are well made, making it visually appealing. The vehicles once built are also a decent size.

This lego set was great for my 13 year old son. He is computer game mad and trying to get him to do anything else during this COVID-19 lockdown has been difficult at best. This is pretty much the only thing he has actually completed and he seemed to enjoy it. Now we have taken it all apart for my 11 year old to have a go as well and he loves lego anyway so is going to have it completed by the end of the week for sure.

Brilliant little set, me and my 9 year old put together a vehicle each, you get two sets of instructions 1 for each vehicle, so if they have a sibling there shouldn’t be any arguments, the two vehicles are in separate bags as well for easy identification. It would be good if they had some alternative models to build with the instructions, but then it’s up to the kids (or big kids) to use their imagination!

My 6 year old was delighted with this lego set. You really are getting plenty for the price here, the size of the vehicles are decent and my son was made up to find many pieces he hasnt had previously (and he has A LOT of Lego!)If you or your child is a big fan of Ninjago and the larger sets are a bit pricey, you'll be happy with this one!

LEGO bricks are a lot smaller and fiddlier than they used to be, but nevertheless this is a fun build and the instructions aren’t too difficult to follow (I only made one mistake this time). The two vehicles you build are fun little designs too, even if you haven’t bought into the cartoons they’re apparently a spin-off of. Nice little kit.

This is a fun set to build, with numbered bags making it relative easy for a 7 yr old+ with little assistance. The instructions are clear and fun. It consists of two colourful vehicles, both with moving parts and figures with interchangeable weapons. The kids were happily playing with them for hours once built - a great set!
