I have bought quite a few of the Juniors sets over the last couple of years and my Children have a few of these Cars 3 Juniors sets now too and absolutely love them.The set has one easy to follow instruction book and the building instructions are broken down into really easy stages. The set has two parts bags along with a separate base part outside of the bags. There are no stickers to apply and instead the pieces with details on them have these pre-printed to make it easier for younger children.This is a brilliant set which can be played with by itself or with any of the other Cars 3 sets. My son really enjoyed building this and was able to confidently build it mostly by himself (he needed a little bit of help putting the wheel inner's into the tyres).I love that Lego seem to be bringing out more and more Juniors sets as they are so nice to be able to let younger or less confident Lego builders make and play with their own sets.This set is from after Lightning McQueen crashes at a race and has to have his outer body fixed which leaves him with the grey undercoat colour instead of his normal red. He goes off to train at his old mentor Doc's training grounds and meets some of Doc's old friends.My Children love this set and Lightning's plain colour and the set is great by itself but even better alongside some of the other Cars 3 sets.Difference Between Juniors Sets & Standard Sets:-The only difference between the Juniors sets and the standard sets is that the Juniors sets include more pre-built larger pieces such as rather than your child build a wall fully with maybe 20 or so bricks, the Juniors sets will have one big piece. They also tend to come with pre-printed bricks rather than a separate sticker sheet and this means no fiddly sticker adhesion for your child and no upset child if like my children they want to have put the stickers on straight and get upset if they can't manage it.I can confirm that the Juniors Lego is fully compatible with the standard sized Lego as in they have the same size nobbles and holes to connect to each other which means that even when your child progresses fully onto the standard size sets that they can still re-use and connect their Junior pieces.

Lego junior range for ages 4-7.::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::This is part of the Lego junior range, this is a range which has slightly bigger blocks ( they are in between the diplomats size and standard Lego size) which are easier for little hands to manoeuvre into place. The instructions are also very basic and easy to understand, mainly because there is no complex building required.In the set you get;Characters::::::::::::::::::Lightning McQueen in his training outfit decorationThe Sheriff character(These are both from Disney Pixar Cars 3)Accessories:::::::::::::::::::::::Detachable speed radar trailer with decorated counterTow barA roadblock with ramp2 movable barriersRampConeShrubSizes::::::::Thisis a small set and will easily fit in to most Lego toy boxes...when made up the sizes are (according to Lego)Lightning McQueen is just over 2” (7cm) long, 1” (3cm) wide and 1” (3cm) high.Sheriff is just over 1” (3cm) high, 2” (7cm) long and 1” (3cm) wide.Speed radar is just over 2” (7cm) high, 1” (4cm) wide and 1” (4cm) deep.Ramp is just over 1” (3cm) high, 3” (8cm) wide and 4” (11cm) deep.Play value:::::::::::This was a really quick and easy set to put together, the construction was fun and stress free and importantly was done quickly enough to keep everyone interested.When finished the set was played with as a toy, it was bashed, flown and generally abused - when a bit fell off it was popped back on and the fun continued, that is the joy of Lego.Value for money:::::::::::::::::::::Ahh this is where it lost a star, being a "Disney Pixar " set and having to pay for the license means you get much less for your money than you would on something like Lego city.This is where I feel is where parents are taken for a bit of a ride, the little ones love the films and want the characters so we are forced to pay over the odds for a licensed set.

If you like the movie Cars (1, 2 or 3) and like, or are keen to try, LEGO then this is the set for you, assuming you are at the younger end of the age range that is. Though, to be honest, if you like the movie then the set will be fun for you anyway. There are 95 pieces in this set and it comes with 1 manual, no stickers (as the parts are pre-printed), 2 bags and a plate. The difference to 'normal' is a few parts of the models are provided pre-molded as one lump, rather than you having to put them together yourself, for example the cars's chassis'. This makes for a very simple build that would suit a complete beginner or the very young.The speed camera is a little loose and prone to falling off it's base (shame the real things don't do that!)and the police car can tow the trailer the camera is mounted on. While the cars are too small for regular mini-figures the rest of the set is in scale and compatible. I personally would have preferred stickers as then they could be removed later and the pieces used for 'regular' LEGO builds.

A smaller box than I had expected, but as it's years since I bought Lego I admit to being a bit out of touch.This easy-to-build kit includes everything needed to make the two cars illustrated on the front of the box, and provides an hour or so of concentration for a child to build this by herself – or himself of course. Afterwards there is the satisfaction and confidence gained at building a toy themselves, followed by much fun playing with the little cars.As with all Lego products, this is bright, colourful and good quality and makes an excellent gift for kids aged between 4 and 7of both genders.Obviously older children may enjoy this but as there are many small parts I would not recommend letting younger children play with it.

LEGO 10742 Juniors Cars 3 Willy's Butte Speed is another great LEGO product which is famous for their building blocks. This is another great item from them and once again they are on trend with the latest Disney film which was released July 2017. I like the fact we were able to build it and it was a good learning curve watching it develop with the clear instructions which LEGO has included. I also like that the car was made to such a standard with top quality LEGO bricks, we were able to play with it like we would when we purchase a model car.LEGO 10742 Juniors Cars 3 Willy's Butte Speed is a great item from the LEGO franchise which will please all young LEGO fans who are also fans of the CARS3 Disney Film.Happy to recommend.

Coming straight from the recent Disney / Pixar Cars 3 movie this is Lego for the younger fan of either.Branded under the "Juniors" label, there are just 94 pieces to make the set from the simple & easy to follow instructions although adult help will more than likely be needed at the younger end of the 4-7 age recommendation.Both Lightening McQueen & Sheriff, a ramp / barrier, sign hoarding, speed trap sign, speed camera, cone & bush are all elements included for maximum playabilitySimple to assemble regular sized Lego pieces, down in size from Duplo introduce children to the hand / eye skills needed for a future filled with Lego - great fun & great value

I've a six (and a half) year old. He's a lego nut. He's also a cars nut, so what's not to like? This is branded as 'juniors' so is super easy to build. He did it all himself in moments. And he was well happy with the toys. Personally, I'm happier when the build is a little more challenging - its good to have them work for their toys! That aside (and this wouldn't be an issue if you're buying for a 4-5 year old, that is proabably the right pitch for the build) - the toys are great as you would expect, and he's had a lot of fun

Simply brilliant - a set of two dinky little "CARS" to build in 3 easy steps, plus ramps and accessories too.. You get pre-packaged sets for each of the steps, plus a glossy full colour instruction book. It is awesome!Perfect for little hands (age guide 4-7) and a great sense of achievement for when complete. We had so much fun making them - and love breaking them up and remaking them over and over.Great LEGO value and fun.

A perfect gift for any Cars fans this Lego Juniors set it excellent value and loads of fun. Comes with 2 cars - Lightning McQueen in silver and the long suffering Sheriff with a speed camera on a trailer. Also has a ramp, chevron, bush and street cone. The juniors range is aimed for ages 4-7 but is great for all ages! Recommended.

Another great product from Lego. Parts maybe a little small, and maybe a little hard to built for the younger age bracket. This set is fun you do get the two cars, speed camera and a ramp to build meaning once built children can actively play with the set. Great fun product with a very on trend disney film

This lego set is a tie in to the Disney Pixar Cars 3 film. My son really liked all the different elements, but would have preferred a base to click them all onto. Easy to build, no help required. Has stood up well to post construction play.
