This is a brilliant little Lego Juniors set which is good value even at its full price of just under eight pound. My children absolutely adore Lego and I have bought quite a few of the Juniors sets over the last couple of years.This Lightening McQueen Speed Launcher set is based on the new Cars 3 film and is aimed at children between 4 and 7 years old. The set is one of the smaller ones from Lego's new Cars 3 range and has 47 pieces.The set has one easy to follow instruction book and the building instructions are broken down into really easy stages. The set has just the one parts bag along with two loose larger pieces (part of the speed launcher base and Lightening McQueen's main body piece).

Designed for 4-7 year old children, this is a Lego Juniors set. Inside the box, you have a bag of smaller pieces, two larger pieces and a well designed instruction booklet, with easy to follow steps. My little nephew needed a little help with this, but my son loved making it with him.There are no sticker sheets, which make this easier for younger children to complete on their own and you have a lovely car, and launcher to play with. I am a big fan of Lego sets, because the instruction booklets are so good and the play value of the sets is excellent.My children have Lego sets which they made months before and still play with, so I think they are good value, even though they are a little expensive.

This is a nice little set. The car is extremely easy to make and can be done by a competent child without supervision. The stickers are already stuck to the car and there really is no skill required. It is quite a good model of Lightening McQueen and would make a perfect party bag gift for a young boy. The car moves quite well but the launching system needs more work (why I deducted a star), either cover the whole of the launch pad with smooth lego pieces and/or make the smooth pieces at the same level as the ramp. I imagine the launch pad will see a lot less use than the car.In summary, great for very young lego fans

I'm reviewing the LEGO UK 10730 Cars 3 Lightning McQueen Speed Launcher. Here are my thoughts:^^ This pack is one of Disney Pixar's Cars 3 sets, and features that loveable rogue, Lightning McQueen!^^ Great for fans of Cars and children between the ages of 4 -7 since the pieces are fairly big and not complicated for little ones.^^ Contains a small amount of pieces and obviously requires some self-assembly. Great for a Lego builder beginner as it is aimed at toddlers.Overall: A cute car with a speed launcher included, that's fun and easily buildable.

I bought mine from Asda when I seen it newly released, he is Cars mad not just Disney cars mad!He is only 3 so I had to build it and its a very easy build, no stickers obviously because it's a Juniors set!The complete build is nicely detailed as Lightning McQueen and is cheaper than the die cast ones available, has a push ramp to shoot McQueen from which isnt very powerful but its only basic!All in all if your child loves Cars then its a nice budget build to resemble the characters from the movies!

An excellent Lego product which my seven-year-old daughter had had great fun with. After three weeks she still plays with it almost every day. What I liked most (as an adult) is that my daughter was able to follow the instructions by herself and end up with a car and launcher exactly as it should be.I'd agree with the 4 - 7 age range and say that it's likely most children in that group would be able to assemble and play with this without much (any?) adult input which builds their confidence no end.

Juniors is pretty much normal lego except for the pre-formed vehicle bases and the odd printed part.The set is fairly basic and I wasn't impressed with the "launch system" as it's basically just a bit of lego on a pivot.Nonetheless it's a "budget" smaller set of lego that is self contained.I feel like other sets are better value for money but juniors are usually more expensive than this.However, it's lego, and lego is always good. You can't go wrong.

This Lego Cars 3 set is minimal and enough to get your youngster started without breaking the bank. It features the iconic Lightning McQueen and it is very easily built. Any four year old will love this. It was built in less than five minutes and you can very easily mix and match the other Lego Car 3 parts.The Lego is robust and definitely a winner from my perspective.

Bought as a gift for my five year old nephew - he loved it and found it simple to put together on his own. Sometimes these sets can be expensive especially being tied into a movie franchise. But these smaller sets prove decent value for money and fun for younger children who want the experience of being able to put together themselves in a few simple steps.

This is a fantastic little set and is aimed at toddlers. I would say the age range is ab out right and is a perfect introduction to big boy lego.The set ties in with Cars 3 so the appeal is there. Took maybe 5-10mins to build with some help from my son and I can see this being an expensive interest lolThe pack is also a great size for rewards etc

Excellent little piece of Lego to build for aged 4+. Really simple instructions, easy to follow. Looks really good when bult just like the character in lightening McQuenn. Great stocking filler or small present.

This was a great kit. Great small Lego set for any young Lego enthusiasts. Item was exactly as described and made. Comes a part to easily after being assembled. This would be a great gift ! Reasonably priced.

My nephew liked building this and while it didn't take long to build he did play with it for awhile after. The instructions were very simple and easy to follow, i'd say it took about 15 minutes to construct.

Brought this as a gift for a 4 year old. He loved it! Easy to assemble for the age bracket and kept the little one engrossed for nearly an hour! Would defo recommend to a friend.
