Not to be confused with the TV series Friends (of which there is also a lego set!), this Friends Lego is the Heartlake City Hospital set. It's a lovely big box, and whilst expensive I always find the bigger lego boxes much more value for money as there is much more included. This one comes with three Lego characters and plenty of fun things to use within the hospital setting! The quality of the build is, as usual with Lego, very good and all the pieces were there, with a few added spares. It's bright, colourful and the best thing of all is that it keeps them quiet for hours whilst building it! Some of the younger ones may need help assembling some parts, but it's great to improve their (and your)building skills! At just under £50, it is expensive, but to be honest I think this is really good value for a set this size as I have paid out much more on other sets!

My daughter saved up for literally months to get this (she's only 5) and she wasn't disappointed when it arrived. It's a beautiful, sturdy set of lego, with clear instructions, though with a child of her age, you have to go slow and explain each step. It took the two of us most of a day to assemble and she was very happy with the result and plays with it regularly without it coming apart or getting damaged, and she's not the gentlest when she's playing. My only criticism would be the interchangeable hair / bandage pieces are ridiculously hard to both get on correctly and remove for her, she has to ask for my help and to be honest, I struggle with them too, they are just too stiff. I'd still recommend it,as this is the only flaw.

Fabulous set!I wish these had been around when my daughter was little, she would have loved it.There's so much to play with - i love the comedy banana, and the wheelchair (i use a wheelchair, so anything that makes 'disability' or illness less stressful for children is great). It's good that the ambulance is included and not something to buy separately.I am a bit undecided about the cartoony figures but appreciate that this is a specific range of Lego people. It isn't cheap but you get quite a lot for the money. There's plenty to make and several dolls included. I can see children being absorbed by this for ages at a time.Currently on offer at £49.47I hope you find this review helpful, thanks for reading

There is quite a lot of lego in this large box and that gives lots of fun options when putting this together. The larger boxes of Lego are more expensive but if you were to look at price per piece it will work out cheaper than many other smaller sets out there. The usual well made, bright colourful and simple to follow instructions will enable Primary age children to have hours of fun. I love the different areas and there is even a comedy banana skin to simulate a slip! Three main characters feature in this set, Emma, Ethan and Dr Maria it also comes with many accessories like medical equipment and more.A great set for encourage nice play, caring natures and helping others, well done Lego!

It's so great to see more and more Lego Friends sets, which are aimed at both girls and boys. All my own best childhood memories involve playing with Lego and I can still remember some of the things that I built over the years. Now that my own kids are growing up, although they've out-grown Lego for themselves (apart from the odd specialist set) they still enjoy playing with Lego when my niece visits. The picture on her face was priceless when she saw this set. My daughter sat down and helped her build it.The contents are really well thought out and offer plenty of levels of imaginative play around the hospital theme. My niece now can't wait to visit again to play with it.

This was a nice set, rather easy to build as it doesn't seem like all that much once built! For the price it is a little small but as ever, Lego offer a lovely few touches. The ambulance has a nice to use stretcher and the wheelchair is a nice touch. I particularly like the balloon wielding visitor too! The hospital even has an X-ray room (although it isn't as good as the Lego City version). Whilst these are lovely touches this is still a smaller set than I have seen with other Lego sets at this price point. At least it feels that way. Regardless, the set is very nice and compliments the other sets my children have very well. I would recommend it for any Lego fan.

This is a lovely little hospital play set, it’s got everything you would expect including an ambulance, beds, X-ray machine and an injured patient.Obviously it all needs to be assembled but that’s part of the fun with any Lego set. There are loads of different features and it will keep kids amused well beyond construction. It’s great for any budding nurse or doctor and you can look after your Lego patient right from collecting them in the ambulance until they are sent hone. Not cheap but there’s lots of pieces and 3 cute figures.Hope you found my review helpful

This is a nice set with clear instructions and is easy to build. Once constructed, the hospital has different rooms that can be played with, plus the ambulance. However it is all on a much smaller scale than I expected, especially considering the price. As you can see in one of the pictures, it does not stand very tall. However it is quite sturdy, as always with Lego. These sets certainly are better quality than other options, but I wouldn't want a child to be disappointed by the small size of it.

My 8 year old daughter has never been interested in Lego before but was keen to do this set. At first, she did get a little frustrated with more fiddly pieces (not as sturdy as retro lego used to be). She worked carefully through the instructions and with a little help from Mum, completed her hospital. A day to complete and she was very proud of herself! Shame that is where her interest ended. It would be nice to have other ideas in the booklet to make different layouts and extend play.

Quality of the product is excellent. Takes a little bit to assemble but its worth it. Kept me focused building it while my little one was waiting peacefully and so excited about it. All the details are absolutely amazing, my little one loved it, spent four hours straight playing with the set. Expecially with the little ambulance, it's incredible the details on it. Absolutely fantastic, love it. Great product, lots of fun for kids, keeps them focused and entertained. Recommended 100%

This is just another amazing Lego product. Lego keeps inventing new exciting sets for kids. The set is very detailed and even has drawers which can open and close. With the ongoing Covid 19 pandemic my daughter really relates to this hospital. The set is 6+, but my daughter (6 years old) did need help as it was too hard to follow the instructions by herself. It took her and an 11 year old friend 1.5 hours to build the set with the instructions. We would highly recommend this set.

A fun set, which has a four-room hospital and an ambulance. The rooms include a reception, microscope room, scanner room and patient bedroom. She most enjoyed the scanner moving along the bed. Double doors lead out to the front, and there's an upstairs garden. The ambulance includes a wheelchair and stretcher. My girls have really enjoyed playing it, adding it to their Lego village. Well-designed, lots of playability. I can see the rooms being adapted to different medical uses.

Although I do think this is a lovely set I do think it is seriously overpriced at the time of writing. The Friends set is geared a little more towards girls than boys, and certainly my daughters have loved this. It follows the standard Lego paradigm of lots of intricate pieces and guides for how to make them. My daughters aged 9 and 6 both enjoyed playing this, both making it and then the imagination stuff where they combine it with other toys.Nice, but a bit expensive!

This really is amazing. The instructions were easy to follow and hours of fun were had putting it together and assembling the different sections. My little girl loved seeing our creation come together and had lots of fun playing with the finished design changing her characters and having excellent roleplay aided by the lego accessories included. I'd recommend this to anyone who loves Lego and would like something incredible to build.

This was bought for my daughters 9th birthday and she loved it. Aside from building it, she did also get several days of play with it after - doing various hospital scenarios so that was good. She did say she found it very easy to build compared to other Lego sets she's had though. For me I felt the set was surprisingly small when compared to the cost. We have a lot of Lego but this one really didn't seem like good value.
