I got this LEGO set for my 8-year-old daughter. She gave it a 5-star rating and said:"I like that the skateboard can roll down the bridge. I liked how the binoculars could move side-to-side. I liked how the bee hive full of honey could go down [from the tree] so the bear could then get it. I liked that the set was small so you can put it in places. It was fun building it and fun sticking the stickers. I like how the bridge can bend and be put in different positions. I like the stickers on the wood parts of the hideout that make it look real. I like Mia's helmet and how her hair is poking out the back of her helmet, rather than her hair being one piece then the helmet another piece as that would be annoying to put on."Just to add to what she said, when she said she found it fun to put together, there are some LEGO sets that are big and become chore-some for children in putting them together. This being a smaller one means a quicker and less-burdensome build. And on the figure's helmet/ponytail headpiece this gives Mia a different look to other Mias from other LEGO Friends sets which is good if you have some of them already (so that they are different and not the same).

when I was younger, we just had loads of Lego in a box and built whatever we could think of with it. These days there are a lot more specifics kits around with specific parts. I daresay they may get integrated into the main Lego after a while! This kit is from the Lego 'friends' range, which seems to be more particularly aimed at girls and the characters are all female (not saying boys can't or won't play with this, it just appears to me how it is marketed). The kit includes the character Mia, on a skateboard, a tree with honey, a small bear, some sort of bridge and an observation post with binoculars. There are a few moving parts that you won't get with bog-standard Lego. There are also some stickers and bits to put together when you first start with this kit,so it will need a little patience. This kit is currently £10 on Amazon, which seems fairly reasonable value to me as these kits can be quite expensive.

This set is described as “for kids”, so I have no qualms I handing this to my seven year old grandson to try out (and are we even allowed to suggest that this is exclusively for either boys or girls today?). Unlike many of his little Lego kits this one presents no real challenges in construction, but the skateboard included ceratainly offers some extra action. Of course the reality of this, like all the other Lego sets in my grandson’s possession is that it will all end up in the big Lego box, with the parts subsequently selected as needed for whatever project his imagination conjures. So while as a prescriptive set it may seem rather limited, who knows what use the individual parts might later be put to.

Lego is ace, let's be honest, there is no competition. This one is no exception, it is a decent set, very colourful and endless fun for the kids (while watching me put it together). It is colourful, fits together perfectly and sits pretty when you have finished. If you can maintain that finished piece then you are doing better than me as my kids see fit to pull it apart and make spaceships out of it after the initial glee at the finished article. This is colourful, pretty and nice. A very good set for girls.

Lego never dies and nor should it. It’s the most enduring toy, aimed at all ages, (ever been to the Lego shop? It’s full of men not kids). This is a lovely little set. It’s perfect for my eight year old daughter. She can put it together easily enough and has a great Mia figure, which is quirky and she loves it. As with all Lego, we’ve already misplaced a few bits and bobs, but nothing that makes a huge dent in the overall joy this has given my daughter: perfect for winter days ?

My 4-year old niece really enjoyed playing with this set. It's nice and bright and she liked the figures that came with it. It's not too complicated to put together, although she did need some help to make it look like on the box. She also really enjoyed taking it apart and putting it together in different configurations. Overall, this is a nice set that has enough in the box to provide a challenge for children to put together and then keep them busy playing after.

My grand-daughter aged 5) is collecting these playsets - she has 3 now and she loves playing with them....they are aimed at 6+ due to the small pieces but we have had no problems and personally I think an older child would find them a bit to easy to assemble as construction is minimal. This set comes with the Mia figure, skateboard and ramp, tree and birdwatching station. she loves the little bear!!!a great set in the series!!!

This is one of the smaller boxes in the Friends series and is aimed at 6 plus. My granddaughter , who is 7, had no problem with it. It can be added to others in the series but in my experience, it's nigh on impossible to get kids to keep all the right bits in the right place [let alone tidy up!]. Lego keeps going and expanding its ideas. Timeless!

Lovely set of Lego which my 4 year old grand-daughter loved. Her 6 year old brother helped her build it so I think a bit advanced for a 4 year old to build on her own but they have both had a lot of fun with it and she develops different scenarios with the two sets (riding school, farm and school)

Products good, delivery service good, delivery service for my daughters nursery was not good, they threw a box over an 8ft wall when the nursery was closed for the night and was soaking wet through in the morning , I hope I never get a delivery person like that.

I buy these little friends lego sets as christmas and birthday gifts for friends' children. I think they represent good educational value and are generally well received by children.

Daughter loved this, enjoyed the building process almost as much as playing with it afterwards. It's a lovely detailed little set. Perfect for imaginative play
