Everyone knows that LEGO is awesome, but it is just not suitable for smaller kids. As soon as you can say "don't put it in your mouth", they have swallowed a piece. Duplo is the fantastic younger range that allows younger siblings in particular to not feel left out as they have their own set of bricks to play with. The Duplo 10907 is the 'World Animals' set and it is absolutely brilliant.The kit mimics being deserted in a jungle paradise. Your trees and flowers to create the feel, but the best elements are the animals. You get both land and sea creatures from all over the globe; pandas, deer, lions and even some whales. You not only get an adult version of the animal, but also a junior.This is just another great touch from Duplo as my children love playing families with them.As well as the animals you get a few people as well who almost act like eco-tourists as they visit the various biomes. They have vehicles to help including a cool plane and a camper van that would probably get stuck in most nature settings.The kit as a whole is a little random in terms of all the different types of animals you get, but a 2+ year old won't see this. They will see all the different animals and blocks that they can play with. There is enough here for a child to create ideas and you don't really need more Duplo, but if you did have some more, the adventures would expand even more. The blocks themselves are fashioned from quality plastic and are chunky enough not to be swallowed. This set of bricks will go down brilliantly with any toddler that just loves to play.

I got this for my 4 year old nephew, and he absolutely loves it. The set is so engaging and varied that even though he has already had hours and hours of use from it, he is still not bored with it at all!!The set includes a great variety of animals, of which there is a larger "adult" version and a smaller "child" version. The range of animals in this set is very impressive, including pandas, lions, whales, penguins, giraffes, and deer, along with six Lego figures, and a variety of "environment specific" building for each animal - such as a forest for the dear, a pagoda for the panda etc - a canoe, a bus and a plane. All of which makes it superb value for money indeed.As with all other Lego /Dulpo sets, the workmanship, and painting of all the pieces is first class and all are durable, easy to assemble and are engaging for little hands to play with. There are no small pieces that pose a choke risk, although supervision when playing is recommended for some younger children.Overall, this set is superb, travelling around the world seeing different animals has certainly sparked a curiosity my nephew in the natural world and geography in general and as is customary with other Dulpo / Lego sets you can add to it and play out different situations and let little imaginations run wild.Highly recommended!

This is great set, includes quite a few different animals and half a dozen figures. I gave this to my niece who already has quite a bit of Duplo and normal Lego and she loves it. Anything with animals in gets her excited and she's been playing with it non-stop since she opened it.It doesn't contain too many pieces despite its size and is very easy to put together and get setup. There are a few vehicles, a plane, a canoe and a van, to go along with the six Duplo figures that come with it. The animals come in pairs for the most part, with a larger animal accompanied by a baby version. Each animal set has its own little habitat which is designed to showcase the animals of the world.I suppose theidea is that you're supposed to fly via the plane to the various locations to see the different animals. That didn't quite go over well with my niece and she kept wanting to make a zoo with it. So that's what we did, she already has a few different Duplo animals from other sets so we just combined everything and made a giant Duplo zoo with its own train.Hours of fun, for children and adults and you can play out different scenarios, especially if you have other Duplo sets to combine with it.

LEGO 10907 DUPLO Town World Animals Adventure Learning Toys for Toddlers 2 - 5 Years Old with Airplane and 15 Duplo Animals is an excellent set and one which has created a lot of fun in this household.I love how each item is designed as not only do they look good but the fact they are the perfect size for small hands.Duplo is perfect for younger children as the design suits their imagination while the rounded edges mean they will not cause any damage to their delicate skin etc.Our little one who is five loves this set as it is dedicated to animals and this is full of her favourite animals which she met on a trip to the Zoo!Which for her means she is now able to relive her trip through her playtime with this good quality set of bricks etc.I love the fact there is an educational value to this set as using the plane means the child understands to see the animals in their natural habitat she would need to catch a plane to fly to them! which certainly has added to the fun.This is a high-quality set of Duplo which children will love and it is a set which I am very happy to recommend.

I was a bit concerned that our two-year-old might be a bit too young for this set, but I need not have worried, as he loves it.The detail and design of the little animals is so cute - the whale floats and the fish makes bubbles, both designed to work in water. There is a wide range of animals in the box, along with an aeroplane and various habitats.The thing to do is to set up different countries where the animals are, and visit them by flying over on the plane, like David Attenborough might do (that's the game we play, anyway). There are lots of opportunities to teach your child about the natural world when playing.There's hours of fun in this box,and it gets them ready for the more complex Lego sets that are a few years down the road. It's really good.

This is a huge DUPLO set - which will be loved by little ones.DUPLO is LEGO’s building blocks for little hands - perfect for supporting fine motor skills and imaginative play.I tested with a very enthusiastic 3 year old who loved this set - yah extra granny points for me!There is a good mix of 15 animals, 6 characters, 3 vehicles and accessories.Easy to follow instructions and they are very easy builds.Our favourites were the whale ? and her calf and the penguin ? with his ice slide!Not on sale just yet on Amazon but I had a look online and the set seems to be retailing about £90.I’m confident that this set will be a favourite so I have no qualms about recommending.

This is quite a complex Lego set with over 300 pieces .For this reason I think they should be aimed at a higher age group as it will take a lot of patience and dexterity to put this together. Once completed this set is has the real wow factor! For any Lego enthusiast this is a really special set. If buying for younger children you will need to sit with them and help them place this altogether.Figures and features of this make it really worth persevering to build it as intended. Pricey but excellent for the enthusiast.

It's his second birthday this month and this is perfect. He's in seventh heaven. And for the adults, no complicated building. Great variety of sets, beach, woodland, zoo areas (waterworks, veldt, panda, with aeroplane, bus and canoe plus people. Great starter set for 2+UPDATE: He turns 4 this month and still plays with these. I have created a board (see photo) and he adds from other DUPLO sets (e.g. Pizza Stall, trains). A number of pieces are constant bath toys - the whales, the penguin. even the aeroplane.

This is a Lego Duplo World Animals set for ages 2+,and it's perfect for my 2 year old grandson. There are loads of animals and stuff to make;there's a whale that floats and a fish that makes air bubbles, a helicopter and minivan,people; everything he needs to keep him fully occupied for ages; I'm a big fan!

You can't go wrong with Duplo and this is a wonderful set, fill of animals! It's a great addition to any kids collection and will definitely encourage creative play. It's in a big box too so makes a good gift... Its all about the size of the box you know!

imaginative young play set from Duplo with even the aircraft too-easy pieces which are great in dishwasher too if they have been outside- every child enjoys playing alone or with others with these great sets. Excellent

A discounted duplo set. Bought this item as a warehouse deal with a crushed box. All duplo parts were still in box and un damaged. The set itself is alot of animals and marge pieces, high are great for little hands.

Bought for our 2 year old grandchild. Played with frequently and the animals are definitely a big hit. As with all Lego it's sturdy and so will be passed on when the time comes.

Got this for my 2 year old nephew for Christmas, he loves it- enough pieces to keep him entertained and can add it to his other lego duplo.
