This is a great Duplo kit and as such, it is excellent quality and will last for years, well beyond the child's interest. We have had Duplo that was my sister's as a child passed through our family serving about 220 children over the years. This is a good-sized truck that once constructed - with considerable adult input - maks a fun truck for the child to play with. My 3-year-old grandson was more interested in the finished product while my five-year-old grandson rally enjoyed the actual building of the kit.It is fun colors and has simple alphabet blocks that can be used as the tuck load or for sounding out the letters. There are three figures, boy, girl, and teddy to drive the truck or play separately with.I think the age of 1 and a half years is quite accurate. My 3 yer grandson was interested but quickly moved onto his other more grown-up trucks once the novelty was over. The 5-year-old lost interest as soon as he built it and he managed with no help at all.

My Daughter (2 years old) received her truck last night and was immediately enamored with it. She played with it in a very focused manner for about an hour. She kept trying new ways to fit all the blocks onto the truck, and before long she was even singing the ABC song to herself. after a while I added her other DUPLO blocks so we could build a big tower. I noticed that the base assembly of the truck actually connects with the DUPLO number train pieces, suffice to say, she built a pretty neat train. Upon waking up this morning, her alphabet truck was the first thing she ran to. She immediately starting building while I got her breakfast ready.I must also mention the alphabet poster that is included inside. Its very cute and is a must have for any toddlers bedroom.

My daughter is 2 and she is beginning to learn her alphabet.... So I thought this would be a great starter kit for her as she can play and learn at the same time. LEGO does provides a poster with all the letters for matching ability, what could have been better is if they made the poster using the cardboard box for durability. She loves building with the blocks and saying the letters/counting how many she used. What would make this product even better would be to provide both upper case and lower case letters on the blocks so children can extend their understanding of letters while playing. Another option would be to provide an extension pack of lower case blocks (same colour as upper case)again for children to be able to match letters, extend their play etc...

This is a review for:LEGO 10915 DUPLO My First Alphabet Truck Toy for Toddlers 1.5 Year Old, Learning Letters Bricks, Preschool EducationI gave this to a friend for his new boy to enjoy, and how he loves it. He loves all the colours and putting it together. It's fair to say that this, and similar toys, spark children's imaginations brilliantly, and the more of that the better. This has proved to be a fun learning tool. The toddler gets so much from this:1. hand-eye coordination2. learning letters3. simple sounds for words4. colours5. racing6. having fun7. buildingIt's great to see a little child having an absolute storm with something. He loves it.I hope that you have found this review helpful.

Lego Duplo is always a winner with young children. This Alphabet Truck is no exception. It is aimed at children from eighteen months but is the type of toy that will still be popular throughout the pre-school years. The interlocking bricks are just the right size for small hands to manipulate. This set consists of five parts that make up the truck and its base, three characters, two half-sized bricks (on which the characters can stand) and 26 bricks with the letters of the alphabet. There is also an illustrated sheet to help with letter matching.A super toy that will help with motor skills as well as language and reading.

I am huge fan and LEGO collector. Doesn’t matter DUPLO, Basic aka Classic, Star Wars, Technic, LEGO games. I have got this set plus few other DUPLO sets for my little baby girl. She is 1 year 3 months at the time when I write this review and she can already put LEGO bricks together and play with little car. She loves little LEGO figures! She will take those little figures and put them bricks! Motor skills definitely works very well. Fantastic LEGO set for a very good price. Highly recommended for babies. If you lucky you can write your baby’s name with just one set ;)

Always love Lego/Duplo toys as they have such flexibility and can be used alongside other Lego/Duplo bricks to create a bigger learning and playing environment. Are hardwearing (we still have some Duplo/Lego from our own children’s younger days), are easy to clean, and come in vibrant colours which adds great interest for a toddlers developing mind. The alphabet letters is another great way to introduce letters to a young child. Great design - very robust for hours of creative play.

I was pleasantly surprised with the size of the box, I was expecting something half the size. The blocks are of a great quality, which is what you would expect with Lego. The blocks are colourful and easy for my one year old to hold and play with. The great thing is they can use their imagination to create anything they like, not just limited to what’s depicted on the box. If your child is a little older, they can read the letters on the sides of the pieces and make up words.

My 4 year old had lots of fun using the blocks to help her learn small words and her alphabet. It also comes with a poster of the alphabet too. My 8month old has developed her motor skills of picking up the blocks and colour matching with these as well. Only down side is the truck could of been a little longer to fit the whole alphabet on. But I’m Sure this wouldn’t bother others. And it’s been great fun for the kids to play with and is eye catching and colourful

Great set, comes with all letters of the alphabet all in uppercase, in a variety of new colours. It also comes with an A3 poster with the A-Z blocks on it, in which you can place the blocks onto the poster, similar to a puzzle, great for learning. Our son loves it because you can push it around and also make a tall tower from all the blocks. One con from this set, all the letter blocks don't fit on the lorry. You end up with 2 spare as seen in the picture.

This alphabet truck was purchased for my nephew’s 2nd birthday and has proven to be a hit. He’s a Lego fan anyway, but this toy has a strong educational element. It’s bright, fun and the additional little characters are cute. The added ABC poster is a clever idea and helps identify letters, but it’s shelf life won’t be that long when grabbed by enthusiastic little hands. The blocks are bright, bold and easily stackable. Fun and learning combined.

Diplomats is great for toddlers, it’s sturdy and robust, colourful, educational and fun. It helps with coordination and learning. My granddaughter loves this truck, she was right in there putting the bricks onto one another and with a little help was able to create a decent looking truck. I’m sure this will carry on being played with for years because no sooner is Elsie fed up with it then her baby brother will be ready to play with it.

My daughter got this for her 2 year birthday and she loves it. She is learning letters and this is a great way to do this with Lego. Her sister (4 years) is also playing and the plan is for her to use the set to make small words. It is thoughtful of Lego to include the two long white bricks/plates where kids can use when learning words. The color on the bricks are great with a good variety of colours.

Just a really fun educational toy. Covers so much for my toddler - hand/eye coordination, alphabet obviously but we use it to spell some words too, learning colours, tower building, racing the cars g he absolutely loves the little figures that come with it too. Seriously don't think twice about buying this toy - it's going to last along time - wish I'd bought one ALOT sooner.

Awesome. Dead good little set. I got it for my 18 month old and he loves it. He stacks the blocks up, his them at the floor, smashes them all over and then does it all again. They're sturdy as you'd like. It's Lego/Duplo though, it was always going to be of excellent quality. Don't be cheap. MegaBlocks are not a substitute for the real deal.
