This was given to my son as a 5th birthday present. It is part of the popular Lego City theme. As a five-year-old, my son's ability and patience to build is not that of an older child. However, he likes sorting pieces and finding pieces to help, but ultimately it is me and his dad who do the construction.The set comes in four distinct parts, smallest to largest they are: the fire rescue vehicle, the fire engine, the fire station, the living/admin quarters. There's also lots of great little accessories included,like a safety net, shovel and broom, a cat with a tree to get stuck up, and lots of ladders.Each part can be built individually, their pieces already separately bagged and clearly numbered in the box.

My son received this as a birthday present so unsure if it came from Amazon or not.The kit consists of 2 vehicles and 3 buildings that clip together.This kit is excellent (as all lego is) as it is part of the Lego City range which is always better value fro money. The vehicles are well designed and robust enough for creative play after they have been built.The buildings are a little more fiddly and a tad more fragile but can still be played with. My boy has lots of Lego city kits and lots of mini figures so this integrates well with a lot of the other lego too.My son is 6 and built this by himself with a little supervision and assistance from me so it took most of a day to build it all and then he played with it for hours afterwards.

Purchased this as a birthday present for our 3 yr old who loves it (phew!). He managed to help to build, surprisingly, quite a bit as the model is fairly simple - needed Dad's help with larger fire engine turn table and 'up and over' doors on fire station.Some nice touches of detail and humour from Lego: flat screen tv screen shows city hall burning down; coffee machine for boss's desk on ground floor just two examples.Couple of very minor negatives... Engine bays, especially for turn table engine, could have been longer as engine sticks out the back by a couple of cms. 'Up and over' bay doors are the fragile bits - how long they will last the attentions of 3 and 6 yr old remains to be

My son who is 4 got this for Christmas and still plays with it pretty much every day - the firemen get everywhere - even recently seen fixing lego lamp posts if you have that set too. It is too fiddly for a 4 year old to build so I have had to build it twice and put the vehicles together a few times but can't fault it as a great toy for young boys. I felt it was expensive to buy but given how much he uses it, it has been great value. Am looking forward to when he can rebuild it himself though!

Our little boy loves the lego city collection and this is his latest addition. It is slightly smaller than the police station, however still a good size to enable hours of role play.The only small problem is the ladder on the fire engine which when pulled up can become detached quite easily, however as usual the durability of this set is great.Came with great easy to follow high quality instructions which enables a quick and easy assembly (around 1 hour).Would recommend.

My 5 year old grandson and i have had a lot of shared enjoyment with the lego fire station. As well as following the instructions with me or his dad, he has also been able to use the contents to invent his own projects such as making little cars, houses etc. This shows one of the strong points of Lego ; it's versatility and flexibility. It is a fairly expensive toy but you do get your money's worth with the different uses you can put it to. Excellent.

This amazing product is a great challange for both imaganation and building skills. once you have marsterd these skills it will be a great toy for creating a world that has been made from lego but a world that is real! If you are a collector of lego (Like me) you will be able to make a experience of a vast destructive fire spreding violently through lego city.

Bought this for my five year old son for his birthday, its great and he loves it. Its Lego so as you would expect the quality is top class. I did think about buying a cheaper copied version but very pleased I paid the extra as the attention to detail is brilliant. a top purchase.

I bought this for my son's 5th birthday. It was about £10 cheaper than argos so that was a good start! It is separated into packets which help you do it section by section. I instructed my 5 year old and he managed to assemble it with guidance. Be great when he can do it himself!

im 13 and I still like lego its just amazing so i bought myself this lego set in a store elsewhere but i got it for the same price and it was a good build and it is in 3 parts then you just clip it toghether which is handy so i can fit it into my storage boxes

Don't know who had more fun with this toy, my grandson or me, although my grandson being only five assembled it faster than me, great educational and play toy. Got to go grandson is going to show me how to programme my new mobile phone he he

I brought this for my son's birthday and he absolutely loves it, you can't go wrong with a pack of Lego. There are endless possibilities for your child with Lego the only thing that stops them is their imagination.

My grandson wanted this for Christmas, and play's all the time, great product. I would recommend it to anyone who has a youngster with an inquisitive mind, and who likes building things without Adult supervision.

My 6 year old son loved building the fire station and has hours of fun playing with it ever since. Excellent product by itself however the young man is looking forward to the rest of the city as well now!

Classic toy, good for more than 1 child to play as plenty of vehicles & people. My eldest is quite imaginative at rebuilding alternate models, so keeps them entertained for hours
