My grandson got this just prior to his 2nd birthday. He loves it so much new, like-size, Legos are being added to his collection. (His father played with his own sets for decades.) (Okay, I must admit, I enjoyed playing too,still do.)Little grandson can stack these higher than his head already. he's so thrilled with his ability. Great motor skill development and creative opportunity.Legos are known to be indestructible. That's why they get passed down from one generation to the next, and then the next. They are garage salable as often they seem in like-new condition for decades. Old pieces can connect to the newer, advanced pieces. My nearly 4 year old daughter picked this out sometime prior to Christmas, and was so excited to see it under the tree!There are a ton of animals in the set (as seen on the box) and those are her favorites. My only complaint, which is with all the duplo sets and not this one specifically (which is why I didn't take off any stars) is that there aren't enough plain legos to build other things...you get the legos you need to build whatever specific set (i.e. the circus environment), but the pieces don't generalize well to building other structures. If you keep the sets separate, that's cool, but when thrown together in a bin...well, the circus structure may never be built again. ;)

I got this as my 3 year old daughter's first Lego set, and I'm glad I did. This set is more beautiful than I could tell from the pictures. She loves the sturdy horse, tiger, and elephant pieces. They're the perfect size for her to play with and are bigger and nicer than I thought they would be. The people in the set are really cute too. She can't build this by herself but my 5 and 7 year olds help her because they really like playing with this set too. It comes in a sturdy full color cardboard box which displays many possibilities of what you can build. I store the set in a see-through Tupperware container. Worth the money because it will last and be fun for a long time.

I purchased this for my son's cousin Henry who is two years old. The pieces are not small enough to present choking hazards. After opening this toy I can attest to this as well. No small pieces.Henry immedietly began playing with the animal pieces. He was very excited saying "Look a tiger." "Look a horse" "Look an elephant." He will not have the skill level yet to make the structures on the boz, but I purchased to add animals to his duplo collection and this accomplished that.It was a very well received gift, and on Christmas when he had other presents to compare it too!

My 1 1/2 year old loves this. She puts it together and plays with it all the time. Her older siblings help her but she plays with it by herself a lot too. We do have other duplos and a board. A board to place the peices on makes the whole thing. If you don't have a duplo board, i'd suggest getting one to go along with it. We were very satisified with this. It's been a few months since Christmas which was when we gave it to our youngest daughter and it's still a hit. She still plays with it daily or at least every other day.

I bought this for my daughter's fifth birthday after we attended a circus. She loves that it has all of the animls that she saw at the circus along with the acrobat and ringmaster. She has spent a lot of time playing circus with this set and uses her other Duplo blocks to add onto the show. It definitely encourages creativity. It doesn't have a lot of blocks to put together though, so if you are looking for a set with pieces for your child to build with, you probably don't want this Duplo set.

This was a gift for my niece, who loves elephants, so I thought this would be a perfect idea. I hit it right on the mark, it was a hit! You can't beat Duplo's for a two and a half year old, especially in this theme. The quality of Lego products are great, and I know she will have hours of fun using her imagination. Plus there are add on products in this theme that I can get her later for other gift giving occasions. I wont' need to search and think too hard. Great product!

Our daughter saw this set in a store, and her immediate reaction was "there is a girl too!" We noticed that many of the Duplo sets have only male figures, but our daughter seemed drawn to this set because of the female on the trapeze. With three figures in addition to the animals (clown, ringmaster, and female trapeze artist), this set was an ideal gift for our 2 year old daughter who loves to have all her people "talk." So cute!

Got this for my 4 year old son. I helped him put it together the first time according to the directions and it was really easy and fun. When the set was finished, he enjoyed playing with it. I also purchased the lego duplo my first zoo set, and he was able to use the animals from the zoo set to add extra fun to the circus and vice versa. I really like toys like this because it is a nice way to spend quality time with my son.

Bought this for my daughter. This is an excellent product that is perfectly suited to the age it is geared towards. The animals are large enough to draw in a young person and the circus theme is a winner. Another bonus is that the DUPLO people in the set include a girl character who is portrayed like a regular person, rather than some ridiculous pop culture caricature. 5 stars *****

We bought this Lego Circus for our 4 year old grandson. He loves putting items together, and building. He loved the birthday surprise. We ordered this less than a week before his birthday, and it arrived promptly within 2-3 days, even with the bad winter storms in the east and lots of snow piled up in every nook & cranny. I would buy from these sellers gain.

Gift for my grandson's third birthday - He opened it while on Skype and took off with the pieces to set them up - So it was a big hit and that made my day. I love to read the reviews from other Amazon shoppers and so with gratitude from Grandma - thanks for the tip. Making the kids happy is a big part of who I am and this did just that.

I purchased this for my 3 yr. old Grandson for his birthday but haven't given it to him until February. It looks very cute but since it's not his birthday yet I really can't comment on this particular lego set but have purchased other's for other Grandchildren and they love them.Thank you, Amazon as I am a very satisfied customer

My 3 year old son and 18 month daughter got this gift for Christmas and they LOVE it. I paid only $23 for it at the time and with 3 people, 3 animals and several blocks (including a swing), this is a great set for the money. They love using their other Duplo blocks and animals to add to this set to create a big "Big Top" circus.

Up to usual top.notch standards of Lego--this is such a fun set. We set up our Lego table from Amazon with one section for the farm, one for the zoo, and one for the circus! I adore the expressions on the animals and people. To get the most out of this set, I'd recommend at least one basic Duplo bricks set. Love it!!!!
