This is a good LEGO set which was enjoyable to build. A downside of it being a 3-in-1 set is that the pieces don't come in numbered bags, so you have to open them all straight away. We sorted them out into different pots to make it a bit easier to find what you need. We used colour as our sorting method, and that worked quite well. The build itself was fun. The only frustrating part was the string for lowering the submarine, because you add that near the beginning of the build and it manages to undo itself repeatedly (unless you do a double knot) and it gets in the way a bit when you put it down to continue the build (until you put the wheels on that the end).

Working together with my ten-year-old son, we really enjoyed building the main helicopter in this set. The Lego Creator sets are always much closer to the original idea of Lego pieces all being compatible and encouraging imagination than so many of the new narrative-themed or licensed sets. This gives them a much longer lifespan than you'd have buying a massive Chima tank, for example, which comes with a ton of very specific pieces that are no obvious use for anything apart from building that tank.Of course, for a three-in-one set, you're already getting better value than you would for a normal Lego box. My son has never yet built all three variations for any of the three-in-one boxes we've bought.

First off, I was really surprised by how BIG this model is! The pictures on the box don't do those twin rotors justice.The build was straight-forward, mostly bricks-on-bricks until you get to the roof where some tricky gearing comes into play; it's pretty satisfying when you spin up those helicopter blades for the first time. I also really like the brick-built color scheme decorations.My only negative is that it only comes with a single pilot Minifigure. If you're buying this for a child, they might want to get some more Minifigs to have a full team on board.After completion I realized that this set reminded me of the old Model Team collection from when I was kid- as it's a large,

Thoroughly enjoyed this 3-in-1 set, a really nice example of taking the range to the next level with something larger and more complex than its predecessors. My family love the 3-in-1s as there's always new possibilities, and afterwards the children are keen to put the new techniques they've learned into practise in their own builds. The helicopter features stylish dual rotors operated via a crank, plus internals, and there are two secondary models - fun to build, though smaller - of a hovercraft and a plane.The pieces are, as always, of excellent quality and the manuals are so well-designed and easy to follow even for young children. I hope they continue down this road of larger kits,

My son adores LEGO so it's hard to imagine a time when it would get anything less than five stars! He's eight and a fairly experienced LEGO builder, so was able to put the majority of this together himself with only a little assistance from his Dad towards the end.The resulting helicopter is a good size to play with using mini figures (of which we have thousands!) I particularly liked the colour which made a bit of a difference from the usual fare and meant that it co-ordinated well with my daughter's Frozen castle. This meant they played together imagining it was made of ice!

This is one of the Lego Creator items and it is fantastic. This is a three in one set - a twinrotor helicopter, that can also become a hovercraft or a jet aircraft. There is so much to do here. The instructions are clear, there's loads to build, and there's loads of imaginative aspiring rescue play to combine with this. Rotors work well and so does the winch. Hours of fun building this - and then there's hours of fun to be had playing with it. Very impressed.

For a relatively large lego set, this is great value.Lego is known for quality, but also known for hefty price tags, but for sub £50, you get a 3 in 1 set that you can build 3 set designs, as well as limitless desings of your own.I built the helicopter and while it took quite a while to build, it was an enjoyable experience - mostly due ot the easy to follow and clear, visual instructions supplied in the box.A really great buy for any lego fan!

I have been building with legos since the early 2000’s and all I have to say is this. This is by far my favorite LEGO helicopter set I have put together! All the pieces are so colorful that you can’t help but smile. The design of the set is great! Never had a LEGO set that has a mechanism to turn the rudders! It’s absolutely amazing and I loved building it! Would buy it again for the other style for sure!

Really fun to build and play with. At the beginning it is dull and hard to tie the string but more fun as the build progresses. It is a bit fragile while you build it and the mechanism for the rotors is hard to build. The other options looks good too but don’t use as many parts.

Nice sized set. Was able to put together what I could since the universal joints that connect the rotors to the gears are missing. Other 2 builds in this Creator set don't require them so I started with them. Fun build and can't wait to finish the helicopter.

Wow this took some effort to build! But the end result is well worth it. We built it during a rainy afternoon with my younger brother at the helm. He loved it and can’t wait to get stuck into another modelz

This is a fiddly set to make, partly just hard to put together, but also because you have to take some parts appart to make the other bits which is a shame. Still we had fun with it.

This was a birthday gift for my 6 year old grandson. He's an avid lego builder and loved this set especially as he can create 3 different toys with it.

This Lego pack can be choose to be a helicopter, jet, or a boat. This can let kids be not bored but exciting every time they change.
