I purchased this set for a little boy in my class who is 6 with ADHD and it has been the most fantastic curriculum resource for him. He loves it because it is "his" lego set and when other children ask to use it, he is allowed to share or refuse... in effect, he is in charge of it. I have sat with him and showed him how to collect together the pieces you need at each stage and then put them in place, before turning the page to the next instruction. Because it has such detailed instructions and it is written in such an easy to use way, he is able to work independently or 1:1 with an adult. I have NEVER seen this child stay on task with any other toy or resource and yet this set seems to change his whole make up as soon as we get it out.

i bought this for my nephew who is completely lego mad. anyway he must get it from my brother (his dad) as come christmas day when i went round i caught my brother playing with it and putting it together! my brother says the instructions were easy to follow and that it wasnt too fidely. he says it didnt take him to long (but he might be lying!) and that my nephew loved it when it was done.overall a great buy as it kept father and son busy on christmas day!

A great Lego model that ticks all the boxes, my 5 year old nephew loves this model and never tires from trying to put together all three different construction types, that said he has needed assistance on occasion - while some say these items are purely a toy, I believe that it teaches a child to translate information from paper into a 3D shape, the colour coding also enhances a child's ability for him or her to learn. All in all I would recommend this item.

My 6 year old received this for Christmas and was able to build all 3 models using the instructions, with minimal adult help. These Creator toys with 3 different sets of instructions have been great at encouraging him to try out different models - and to come up with his own designs. Also great value at less than £10, compared with some of the "themed" lego.

As we know there are hours of fun to be had with Lego but this set is ideal for the 5 year old it was purchased for. The main aim was to give him something to occupy his mind and give him something to do following the arrival of a baby sister whilst also then being able to play with it afterwards. Good purchase and great service. Would definitely recommend.

The creator series are great for lego fans. You get three projects in one box and often for the same price as 1 normal lego kit. My son of 5yrs old, bought this with his own holiday money, after a little advice from mum, and had great fun making all three models on his own. I will definitely be looking out for more of these, good value for money.

As always, excellent intructions which require the maker to really use their powers of observation and attention to detail. For younger children it is usually enough just to complete the model as illustrated - with more experience children learn to build their own creations. LEGO is value for money, lasts for years and bridges the generation gap.

Fantastic product and great value for money! Bought this for my 5 year old to keep him entertained on his first ever flight and he hasn't stopped building and re-building it. The instructions are easy to follow and he can do it all on his own. The fact that you can make 3 different models from it makes it even better value for money.

This was bought as a gift for my 4 year old grandson. His face lit up when he saw it was Lego and he immediately sat down and "created" the helicopter. He is absolutely delighted with it. As with all Lego it is extremely sturdy and the diagrammatical instructions are so easy to follow that even a 4 year old can do it.

I received it on time and was very pleased as my son spends more time then he usually does with his other toys as he can create different styles of plains and helicopters and makes sure to pick every bit of it when he finishes as he knows that he will be using it for his next creation !!!

Great product as expected from Lego. My 5 year old manages really well with the simple instructions and a little bit of help. I am disappointed in myself for not putting more research in when buying as I think I paid twice the amount I would have in a high street shop.

Purchased this lego pack for my grandson age 4 as he loves building things. Liked the idea of making 3 things from the one pack so he has options. Looking at box there are good instructions but quite a lot of small bits so probably not good for under age 3. Good value

Lego is just such an enduring versatile toy. They make such a good range from farm, horse stuff, through to boats, planes, police, buildings, lots of machines, stuff that lights up and stuff that powers up ... it's brilliant. Good for girls and boys. Always a winner.

This lego set is fab. It says 3 in 1 but in the box there is an extra bit that says 3 in 1 + 1 where you can look up a 4th set of instructions on the internet. They are really easy to make too. Let's face it you can't go wrong with lego!

This set builds 3 different projects. I got this set for about the same as a number of Lego sets that build only one item. The individual projects are all decent and make a toy that kids can use to play with other items.Good value!
