I really like the current crop of Lego Creator models, they are a lot of fun with great attention to detail. For the most part, this is true of this model, though I have one or two minor reservations. It took us about an hour to complete, with me aiding my 8-year-old son in the build. As always, the instructions are clear and comprehensive. There are some clever uses of unusual pieces to add details that enhance the wintry theme. The model looks good and is a decent size. The 'modular' in the name of the set refers to the fact that parts of the main build can be swapped around to create different configurations. There are four 'bays' into which either the door, the two window or ground-level-roof units can be fitted and the roof separates into tow sections which can be switched around. There are two minifigures, which are nicely realised, that come with a few accessories - skis and poles, snowboard, helmet with goggles and a mug - I don't know why has only one helmet is supplied . The male head has an alternate print on the reverse, useful for the yeti alternate build. There are some nice, unusual pieces to look out for, if you want to add to your parts collection.I have a couple of gripes; firstly, I'm not sure what the building is supposed to be, I think it might be a shop but, apart from a coffee machine, I can't tell what the things inside are meant to be, if it wasn't for the description on the product page, I'd be none-the-wiser. Secondly, one of the roof sections has windows but is completely sealed and so can't be accessed by the minifigs - mind you, it would be too small a space for them. This last part is a little frustrating, though I can see there has been a compromise between functionality and aesthetics.Overall a nice little set and I can't see my minor gripes concerning too many young builders.

We are quite new to the Creator 3-in-1 range as we usually buy the Ninjago, Elves, Friends, DC, Batman, Disney and Marvel ranges in our household but the two recent Creator sets we have built have been lots of fun and my Children have really enjoyed building and playing with them so we are likely to buy more in the future. This set is a 3-in-1 set as the names suggests and so not only can you build the main Modular Winter Vacation Ski Cabin but you can also use the existing bricks to rebuild a Bobsleigh Track and Yeti Surprise (My Children love the Yeti).Age Suitability:-The set is suitable for 7 years olds and over and my Children managed to build most of the sets by themselves. The set itself is quite a small build and has approximately 374 pieces with some spare smaller parts too.Figures:-The set comes with a female and a male minifigure and the male also has a dual sided head so that his facial expression can be changed.Features:-The Ski Cabin has a rooftop slope for the figures to ski down, inside shop with coffee area and a serving hatch, outside bench and a rooftop balcony with a little owl that can be built too. The bobsled track has a bobsled (obviously) and also a starting gate and small cabin style area. The Yeti surprise is the funnest set to build with a small yeti and cabin toilet.A really lovely set and a nice build and lot of play value for the size and price.

The idea of a Lego box being labelled 3in1 amuses me as surely the point of Lego is that there are almost infinite ways of designing and building structures. However the three different creations suggested by this alpine skiing vacation box are fun and very easy to build. One scene is quite traditional with a chalet, ski slope roof and café bar, another is an alpine hut with toboggan and finally, and bizarrely, a control hut with a large, yeti-type snow monster. All the plans are easy to read in usual Lego style and take the creator through the building process step by step and easily. Building the primary scene first it was disconcerting to have a handful of pieces left over but they all get used in the different scenes. There are a number of new styles (well new to me anyway)of Lego piece in this kit which are exciting and set the imagination off as to what they might be used for in later, unique designs of my own. There are some innovative uses of bricks, for example clear light blue tiles to represent ice, and some honeycomb shaped pieces used as either piles of snow, or when inverted, as icicles hanging from the chalet roof.Great fun, good design and once started, almost impossible to pause until completed.

Another five star review for this Lego kit. As ever, there are plentiful pictorial instructions, really easy to follow for anyone of almost any age. This is a great set, a skiing resort/winter vacation set. The box shows all of the different ways they suggest this can be made up, and obviously, as this is Lego, there are many, many more ways to build. At first, I thought this was quite expensive, but when you consider the play value - and the longevity of the bricks themselves - this is actually a good value kit. Had to take this away from the 48 year old 'kid' in here, so the real kids could play with it! Such is the appeal of Lego.

This is an attractive set full of stylish little details. It is easy to make, with simple instructions suitable for almost any primary school age child. It is on the expensive side for what you get but not way over. The slight problem I have with these sets is that they invariably get mixed together with the result that you have hundreds of tiny specialised pieces that you have no idea what to do with.

My son wanted to get this with his own pocket money and he wasn't disappointed. It's a relatively small set and not the cheapest but what Lego is these days? The thing that makes this slightly better value is the fact that it is a three in one set which means it's possible to build multiple times with different results. We especially liked the cheeky yeti!

This a small but detailed set. It took my 11 year old an hour to build and is 3 in 1. There are some fun pieces; we particularly like the little owl and ramp for the skiers. It’s modular so will go with other sets, but works well as a standalone set too. An unusual and fun set with good play value. Well received in this house and fun to build.

This is a really cute little lego set - it offers the choice of creating a number of difference winter scenes:A ski lodge, a shop or a cabin complete with yeti! You also get 2 lego people to accessorise as you wish.We chose the ski lodge, it took a couple of hours to complete.A great seasonal themed set for all ages!!

This is nice imagination inspired piece of Lego and not too complex in design either (whether that’s a good or bad point depends on the recipient). There are quite a few nice versions of the design but it took about an hour to complete it which was fine as from that point on there was lots of play.

Love these Creator sets as there is much more flexibility in the build. Great instructions as always, easy to follow.Lovely details such as skis & poles, helmet and snowboard. The building options include a cosy balcony and a slightly precarious rooftop slope.Lots of fun.

I bought this for my son as it had been on his wish list for sometime and it didn’t disappoint! Great for imaginative play during the cold February half term break. The 3 in 1 sets are great value and the build doesn’t take long.

While some Lego seems highly priced, this set offers good value for money. Build time is around 30 minutes and once it's made, there are enough parts to keep a child entertained for quite a while. My son loved it.

As usual another great set from Lego. My son choose one of three models to build. It took him a few hours to complete. My son is 10 years old. This would make a great present as most children love Lego.

Bought for my child for xmas. Built in a few hours, easy to put together but smaller than it looks on box. Looks great.

Granddaughter loved this Lego kit particularly as it was 3 models in 1. Thoroughly recommended
