I am a little bit torn with this kit. Whilst it was an enjoyable build and has a lot of play value it did feel a lot smaller than I anticipated and there is a tinge of disappointment there. Not sure why I thought it would be quite a large completed piece but I definitely did and it is actually pretty small.There is a lot going on in the kit though and I like the fact that you get a little jet ski and a drone. The Fire Truck that comes with it is a great build and looks great completed and is really the saviour of this kit. Whilst the building gives you a garage and a couple of offices it is fairly basic but does have play value.

Finally LEGO have made an affordable fire station this set is great I love how it has a small dock and the 4x4 is realistic the only thing I don’t like about it is the flashing lights they are cool but are big and bulky I took them off and used brick built ones. The station was easy to assemble for me as I am a very experienced LEGO builder but a 6yo would love building this set and it would take them the best part of an afternoon. The fire station itself has a cool garage and the tower can store tones of figures and if you need more buildings they would be easy enough to add for any aged LEGO fanOverall get this set if you want an affordable fire station.

I think that it's not to challenging but I feel that it works well in my city and you can easily add other fire trucks onto it. The lights on the truck are really fun and have a good light in the dark. The hose also stretches a good length not like some other builds. The boat could also be up graded a little because the dock does, like some reviews have said make it less able to be in the heart of the city, but I feel that is not really relevant as all the other bits make up for that.

By “poor choice” I’m referring to the lack of a rightful firetruck, and the overall downgrade in the building’s size as compared to its predecessors. There are positives, however. The building looks very good and modern, and also uses the interior space well. I love the new colors and minifigures (especially the tan fire gear), but it was a shock for me to see that the biggest set in the new fire line isn’t the fire station itself. In my opinion: same design theme, more building mass.

Once again LEGO show why they are the best. Well organised packs to help step by step construction. Make sure only one bag at a time as there are lots and lots of pieces! The building isn’t as complex as pieces are quite big. If you want to move the whole building after construction put it on a base as they are joined loosely.The battery is included for lights & sounds so everything you need is there.Although the set seems expensive you get the equivalent of several smaller sets.

I bought the fire station for my granddaughter aged 9. She loves it. She built it the same day - from which I conclude that the set is well suited for her age range and that the instructions were easy to follow. In these Coronavirus days, I couldn't see her or the station in person, but the video she sent me showed a good sized model with lots of fun features (like a fire truck with flashing blue light). Based on my experience, I would happily recommend this to others.

I would recommend this product for the age specified which is 5+. Lots of detail and looks very attractive, comes with moving fire truck, fire station, a dog, 3 figures, and a helicopter drone.. has features such as flashing and sounds on the fire truck, a moving fire door and a speed boat.This wa slots of fun to build and will keep my little ones entertained, I would recommend this to anyone that likes to build things and anyone who loves Lego

This great Lego city set has lots of fun play potential. Four figures, a drone, a 4x4 fire truck and even a speedboat is packed into this open fire station. The attention to detail is exactly what you would expect from Lego and more. The little laptop computer adds to its charm. There is even a room with a miniature television and ice-cream. Water hoses have little studs that fire mimicking water. The truck has flashing lights and sirens.

The Lego is bright in colour, feels smooth, and the instructions are very easy to follow. Each section is individually packed to make following the instructions simple, rather than be stuck with over 500 pieces to go through. It also has syrens on top of the fire truck that light up and make sounds. The product also comes with 3 firemen, a fire chief and a cute little dog. It also includes, the firehouse, car and helicopter.

My daughter is 6yrs old and loved building this. She did need my help in parts. The instructions are easy to follow and parts separated into bags for each section you are following.Once built it features shutter which opens, windows & door which open, speedboat, drone, fire engine with hose reel, pretend flames & 3 figures and a dog Plenty of different parts to play with in different scenarios. I would definitely recommend.

This was a fun little build that I've added to my small city I have started, combined with the other fire sets from this year it looks great, it's a little on the small side for a fire depot, but meh!!! I did get to the end of the build and the instructions said 3 flat shiny grey plates on the top, I got 2 grey, and one gun metal grey, I've put in a parts request, but not heard anything back from them on my parts request.

I was very pleased with this set for my 4 year old son. He loves firefighter everything and begged for this Lego set. I wasn’t worried about the small pieces because he’s been playing with Legos for a while and he doesn’t put them in his mouth. He was SO excited for the fire dog and “working” lights on the vehicle. He also really likes that the door slides up and down for the parking area.

I was quite surprised how easy the instructions are to follow. Each different part of the station came in a numbered bag so no hunting through piles and piles for 1 little bit. The kids are still building it which isn’t a bad thing as it’s kept them interested. They’ve already asked if they can get another piece to add to the set once they e finished building this 1.

We would highly recommend this lego set. My seven year old spent a morning building it and is still playing with the built fire station and vehicle a couple of weeks after purchase. It was challenging enough to keep him occupied but not so hard that he would get disheartened. We are a family of lego lovers, and this set is great. Not bad for the price either.

Who wouldn't recommend Lego? Greatest gift made, this is for my grandson's birthday in August, bought when special offers were on ready. He's been wishing for it for ages so just know he'll love it, given the chance to play with it as he has a younger brother!! ,We have loads of Lego for when they visit, hours fo fun for Grandad too
