This is a great set and it comes in a big ish box too. I got this for my 3 year old who is always jealous of his bigger sisters lego and he has loved it. I had to help him build it initially but he did have great fun helping me to find all the bits and got really into the whole process. The engine itself is really sturdy and once built has lasted really well. It does shed the occasional brick around the cab but not much and it is always easy to rebuild.A few highlights of this item are the fact it fires water (single stud blue bricks) and they even give you 5 spare which is lucky as they do not last too long with a 3 year old or his older sister.

Bought this as a birthday gift for my son's 5th birthday. He loves it, and has built and re-built it many times. I can't imagine that he'd still be playing with it at age 12 though, so I would suggest it's more suitable for the younger end of the scale. Comes with 2 lego fire fighters and is great for any child who likes vehicles and fire trucks etc.Reasonably priced too, considering the hours of play that it has had already. Fast delivery, arrived before the stated time.

When I bought this fire truck, I ran argos and John Lewis and Lego stores. I didn't have this fire truck. I finally wanted Amazon. I would like to thank Amazon for the very fast delivery. On May 4th, my child was 5 years old. The birthday promised him for a long time, finally bought him this gift on this day, I like it very much, it is done by the children themselves! Lego is a great product!

Got this for my 3 year old. He's too young to build Lego but he loves playing with it and I want to get him used to it so that he'll play with it when he's older.This is a great set, my only criticism is that unless I have done something wrong the wheels won't turn. This causes my 3 year old great frustration when his fire truck won't move.

Lego is always a winner and this one did not disappoint. We were pleasantly surprised that the box was bigger than expected (going on the price rather than the number of bricks) so this made an excellent present. Once built it looks great and is strong enough to play with, without falling apart every time its touched.

Lego for a nephews bday he loves lego, dont we all!! good size kit with nice bits for less than £13 on a lightening deal, happy days if i had to pay the full £20 its still a nice product and worthy of 4 stars, the extra star is purely the price i paid reflecting.

Lego is always 110% with fun sets this is no exceptionthe firefighters are great and look incredibly realistic for a minifig, and the big ladder truck is great too, if you have a little city it needs a fire department, this is a must have!

Great product !My Godson who is a? Fire fan loved this !Just disappointed that it is £5 cheaper now, than I paid for it !But, you seem to find this on Amazon.That the items are never the same price, when you come back to " Buy Again "

We gave this as a gift and it was bigger and better than expected. It was quite sturdy once built and a really cool feature that it sprayed lego water. I purchased it for a good price. I would definitely recommend.

This was bought for four year old's birthday to complement his Lego fire station. He was delighted and it has prompted lots of imaginative play. Easy for him to put together with some adult help.

Keeps my grandson entertained for hours. He loves building them and then plays with the model. He then spends ages adapting them and so stimulates his imagination as well as manipulative skills.

This is a great size lego set for the price, my son and I have had a great time putting it together and Im secretly hoping that he leaves this one assembled because it looks great.

Bought as a present for a very advanced 4 year old. We assembled it so it could be played with immediately, but I’m sure it won’t be long before she is doing it herself!!!

Cant go wrong with lego. Expensive for little blocks of plastic, but instructions are easy to follow and the completed item is always enjoyed.
