My grandson is mad about Lego and I thought this might present a bit more of a challenge to him - but oh no, trust him he'd built it in less than an hour! Having said that it looks brilliant when finished and he loved it - needless to say he wants to go up it now! Would thoroughly recommend this series of lego but if I bought him another one it have to have a lot more bricks to it - trouble is they cost more money so I don't think that'll be happening unless I could get one at an exceptionally good price. Would thoroughly recommend for any Lego enthusiast but bear in mind it's not the sort of Lego that you keep taking apart and building again - it's really a showpiece.

I have bought this because I thought this was a decent price for the amount of pieces of Lego it contained - and I gotta say I loved putting this one together. It's not the very usual brick on brick kind of structure, I enjoyed the fact that there were some movement pieces involved, made me feel a little bit more like doing a Lego Technic kit. I am very glad Lego came up with this Architecture collection, as some of the kits are very beautiful and can nicely sit on your shelves and be adored by your guests. And I think Eiffel tower is definitely one of the most eye pleasing and interesting structures in all the collection.

I love the architecture builds, they come in nice boxes and instruction manuals are finer quality. The build itself is relatively easy and stays within the same colour scheme as other products in the range despite the eifel tower nicely on a green surface! As others have said its easy for a child younger than 12 to build but its still enjoyable as with most Lego sets, great addition if you have the other sets in the range or just as a reminder of where you went and display on the fireplace where it fits quite nicely!!

Bought this as an Easter present for my 6 year old son. He loved it! We did it together, with me picking out the bricks for him and him doing the actual building - and there were only a couple of times he needed a little bit of help. It took us a couple of nights to do, at a couple of hours a night. It looks really good once built. Very impressive. This is the 2nd set we've done. We did the London set first and found that the Eiffel tower was easier to do. Planning to do Buckingham Palace next.

There are 321 pieces to put together and it took me a couple of hours to do so, making it a fun project for a rainy afternoon. The instructions are easy to follow and the end result is certainly worth the effort. The detail on the tower is impressive and this model depicts the beautiful structure well. I have not dismantled it as I think it is good enough to keep as an ornament, and it sits proudly on my work desk. This would make a great gift for anybody with an interest in architecture.

The finished product was very impressive and stands next to the Lego Big Ben. The assembly was painstaking and had to be redone once or twice as the instructions were not very clear in some places. On the whole the effort was worth it, once the tower was finished. The picture of the base of the tower was misleading as it showed a layer of bricks which were needed further up the construction, but there is satisfaction to be gained in solving the problems.

Part of the Lego Architecture series, this kit provides clear instructions for building the Eiffel Tower, with a booklet of information about its construction also. Would probably suit children age 10+. Unlike other lego sets, I'm not sure there's much else that could be built with the kit, but then again, I don't have as much imagination as my children! That's the only reason I gave it 4 rather than 5 stars.

Easy for a 60 odd year old adult to build. This is my 2nd Architecture set that I've purchased and will purchase more as they make a change from doing a jigsaw. Downside to this set is that it is very plain looking and would have looked better with a more realistic looking brick on the outside of the model. Some very small bricks such as 1x1 , so anyone with finger problems might struggle.

Beautiful once it's built.Quite a lot more pieces than i anticipated, which was good because it made it more of a challenge.Overall quality lego , looks great sitting and everything came in perfect condition.Would say its mostly for adults, but i'm sure kids would enjoy attempting it.

This is a great looking model when completed. I purchased it for my 8 year old son and he fully enjoyed making the model before putting it on display in his bedroom.Thoroughly recommended for kids who like to construct things, especially authentic looking land marks.

Unlike other models in the architecture series that use techniques that imitate the construction process of the reality, or emulate the key structural elements of the original, this one does not. It's barely torsionally rigid enough to be handled. Disappointed.

The build quality of the items is exactly as expected from Lego. No items missing and the finished product really is impressive. Worthwhile purchase if you are a fan of Lego, architecture or just want something to do with a pretty result in the end.

Far from being for age 12+, my 9 year old Grandson completed this model in under half an hour. I appreciate that there is a wide range of abilities, but I thought it would keep him busy for much longer. However, he enjoyed building it!

Bought for a Lego obsessed gran, who has designed a "Lego room". The Eiffel Tower sits proudly in the holiday section where the Lego people sit outside their colourful cafes having cocktails lol. My mum loved it!

Great gift for my son who is 12. Not difficult to do, and it didn't take long, but he really enjoyed making it and was really pleased with the result. Being Lego it's quite expensive though for what it is.
