I got into HDR photography 3 years ago, and found that a lot of time is taken up in post processing. As a result I wanted to buy some ND filters for landscape photography to capture what I wanted in camera (but don't get me wrong I will still do HDR). I have been put off by the many reports about vignette problems with the adaptor ring and the filter holder, plus some adaptor rings have white writing that is reflected back into the lens and is picked up in your photographs.Buying a good set of ND hard edge filters, holder and adaptor ring is not cheap (you could buy a good compact camera for what they cost), so I was nervous about taking the plunge.I have a Canon EF-S 10-20mm lens,

I've a number of Lee filter and accessories so I knew there would be no problem with the quality (and there isn't!). Needed a new size of adapter to fit a new lens. Checked prices and Amazon was competitive and it was available on Prime delivery. So I bought it and it was delivered the next day - so I am now ready for some new photography adventures. This is how buying things should be. Highly recommend product and great delivery service.

The Lee Adapter is well made, and screws directly on to my Canon lens with no problem.However when used in conjunction with a Hoya 77mm Pro-1 Digital UV filter, the Lee Adapter never tightens up but keeps screwing.The Hoya 77mm Pro-1 Digital UV filter on its own also screws directly on to my Canon lens with no problem, it just seems to be the combination of the two.As far as one can tell both items are genuine, hence the 4 star rating.

I have a number of Lee filters and use them on Nikon and Bronica lens. This adapter I have just used for the first time on a 24mm wide angle Nikkor. It worked a treat, no darkening of the corners at all. Quality of the product is up to the usual very high standard of Lee filters. Some darkening in the corners on a 20mm lens but not enough to worry about as it can be removed in post processing.

I've recently moved to DSLR from a compact digital camera and discovered just how expensive lenses and accessories can be.I've no complaints about the Lee 77mm wide angle adaptor ring itself, it works. But £40 for a metal disc? For that I could buy a complete 14-megapixel compact digital camera system! Therefore I've rated it as four stars on the basis of it being very expensive.

The adapter is extremely well constructed, screws easily into my lenses and is solid once attached. Functionality really is 100%. The only reason it is not 5 stars is because it is unnecessarily pricey. The normal adapter ring is half the price, and while I accept the wide angle construction will be more expensive I don't think it warrants a doubling in price.

Ordered yesterday and arrived this morning.The adaptor ring itself couples my Lee Foundation filter holder and Canon 24-70mm F/4 lens perfectly.I've given 4 out of 5 stars because as others have mentioned. It is over priced for what it is essentially a metal ring with some thread.Product quality 5/5Speed of delivery 5/5Value for money 3/5

This is obviously required with the Lee kit and you need this if your lens if wider than 24mm if you use a 35mm (FX) size sensor. It is very expensive buying Lee equipment but is well made. Remember if you use a wide angle lens then you would need the the Wide-Angle adaptor or you will see the edge of the holder at the widest point of the lens.

Great product it does exactly what it's meant to but it's very expensive for all it is! It's just a metal aluminium ring and half the price would be quite enough really. I gave it 4 stars and not 5 because of the price!

The reason I bought the Lee adapter ring was the cheaper version didn't always screw on proper, and I couldn't take the chance of losing £200 worth of Lee filters for the sake of a £40 adapter ring.

Does what it should, well constructed, easy to fit to my camera and easy to fit the holder to it. Very pleased with the product. Arrived before the estimated time.

An excellent quality product.The adapter is set back such that when using a wide angle lens the ring is not visible in when viewed through the lens.

They do exactly what they say they will. I wish there was not a word limit, as there's only so much you can say about metal stepping rings!

Did know they made this, bought it, will buy more for the LEE filters system for my other lenses, its a must have!!!
