Got this to keep permanently in a socket in the campervan so we'll always know where to find a torch for emergencies (like when heading for the loo at night on a dark campsite) also handy if you need to peer in a dark cupboard or look for a better torch if the van lights suddenly go out (which will hopefully never happen as I did the wiring).Anyway . . . .Pros: Bright enough to see where you're going when stumbling across a rough field, tiny enough to fit in the smallest of pockets, battery lasts more than long enough for our purposes, no silly 'modes' like most modern torches (just on-off), switch cannot be operated accidentally when in a pocket, good spread of light for map reading etc.Cons: Won't charge in many types of cig /

If you want something useful to put into your car, boat or aeroplane 12v socket, now that we're got rid of cigarette lighters. This is it!As you'd expect from Led Lenser, a very high quality product. I've tried many over the years. Most are very poor quality. Any sensible person has a torch in the car. This torch is always in a known place when you need it. The light is bright and clear. Its very handy for looking for those little things that fall onto the floor or carpet, roll under a seat etc. You can hold it in your mouth if you're trying to change a wheel in the dark.It clips into the socket nice and securely too. Many I've had before don't seem to secure properly and consequently don't get charged up,

I had the previous Led Lenser version that was good, however, this new version with a significantly brighter led and bigger battery is a definite improvement.It is important to check it’s charging and there’s a built in blue indicator led that shows this. For some reason car sockets are different in size and even the provided optional collar didn’t work for me in the back seats socket of the car. Using in the boot socket was fine, hence losing stars for size. Maybe not the fault of Led Lenser but it’s supposed to fit car sockets...

Great product well designed battery last a while very handy as an electrician can’t do without my pocket light bright and quality build
