This very colourful and comprehensive “Doctors Set” comes in its own clip top “doctor’s case”.The sixteen pieces in the case, plus some imagination, are all that your budding doctors need to become immersed in the role. The set includes a mobile phone, a stethoscope, and a blood pressure monitor. The mobile phone, which needs two AA batteries (not supplied), rings when pressed. You will need a small cross-head screwdriver to open and close the battery compartment. The stethoscope which needs a button battery (supplied) simulates a heartbeat and a cough when the button is pressed. To enable the function, a tab needs to be pulled out.To replacing the battery you will need a small cross-head screwdriver to open and close the battery compartment.Great for developing inter-personal skills. My grandchildren love this good-value set, and have no problem playing together, and reversing roles. I, on the other hand, have apparently been a very bad granddad and must be sent straight to the hospital!!

This is a great sturdy doctors set with a good range of tools for children to use. The medical equipment is made of tough, durable plastic and each item is nicely rounded to hold in your hand with no sharp corners or edges. This set is currently being used in my reception classroom and is robust and holding up well. It has pretend plastic plasters and alongside the standard stethoscope role-play there is an excellent pumping blood pressure cuff. This is great for the classroom, but is equally great for a present- and plenty of opportunities to role-play splinters, mending, fixing and a great pretend telephone too. A super doctors set which represents great value for money. Overall there are 9 instruments,a stethoscope and blood pressure, phone, glasses 3 plasters, a badge, tray and glasses- and of course carry box itself- can't fault it!

Just bought this set after much uhmming and ahhring about the price- not cheap- but I thought that the 'extra' items included in this set (the mobile with realistic sounds, the 'working' pager and the stethascope that makes noises) would make it worth it as my boys (aged 18 mths and 3)are both mad on phones and pressing buttons on any gadget they can lay their hands on. I wasn't disappointed!- this set is a huge hit. The mobile is great- lots of sounds and a flashing red light; the pager is good too, and the stethascope really made me laugh with the coughing sound it makes. These 3 items really 'make' this set- but the rest is good too- seems very durable and the play syringe is great. This was one toy they really couldn't stop playing with. All in all, quite expensive.... but well worth it.

This was purchased on the back of the last set we bought had a fraction of the contents that this set has but for about the same cost. Our 3 year old had endless fun with the previous set. When we bought this and it arrived we were happy with the packaging and delivery from amazon. The box opened and since then we've had hours and hours of fun! Our twin girls 18 month old also love getting involved as assistants. This is a perfect present for any child 3 upwards that is in any way interested in role play. Flashing pager, mini mobile, all the other items are just as you would want them. Great purchase.Only one down side, the box can be a bit difficult to open, even for adults! But after a short time there is a knack to it.

We have had a number of children's medical kits over the years and this is the most comprehensive set we have ever had. This comes with a whopping number of items, 19 in all, including a mobile phone (which needs batteries), a stethascope, that comes with batteries, which makes a sound like a heart beat, when you press the button. The blood pressure cuff, glasses and syringe are the other highlights, but there are plenty of other tools and equipment, to keep you playing doctors/nurses/surgeons for hours. I think that children are only limited by their imagination and can manage with a smaller, more basic set - but this is really fun and it does push the boat out more than some other cheaper sets, but it's great fun.

We had one of these before and if you have had one of these doctors sets for the kids you will know that the pieces soon end up everywhere and things soon get broken. Well this is nothing like the one we had this is so much better. First the case is actually pretty good and can probably be used to store something else once this has had its use. The stuff inside is pretty good too. Glasses for the kids to wear (Would never thought of that!) Even he little blood pressure machine is better it actually moves as you pump in air and has a little wrap to put on the arm like a real doctor.Even comes with a toy phone, bandage all the usual doctors kit this really is a fantastic bit of kit.Kids love this well recommended.

I've included photos of the product I received to review, as it isn't the same as the one shown on the listing. The main upgrade appears to be the phone which looks more like a smartphone. We really liked it. It contains a good range of items for the amateur clinician to tend to their toys. We haven't had any breakages, and the case remains intact (despite me dropping it off a table). The phone requires 2 AAA batteries (not included), and we didn't have any problems with it. It only did things when we pressed it. All in all a good set. I can that there's a wide range of sets like this available on amazon - I can't say that this one necessarily the best value, but it does contain a lot of items.

My three-year-old daughter has had hours of fun playing with this doctors set. With 19 realistic pieces there is plenty to keep little ones busy playing doctors, nurses and patients with many of the toys making sounds (phone, pager, stethoscope) or movements (injection, blood pressure monitor, thermometer). The phone doesn’t come with a battery (2xAA needed) but the pager and stethoscope do. The only negative I have with this product is the price in that it is very similar to a cheaper product from Kiddyplay Deluxe which is currently selling for around half the price. This would make a great gift for a little one along with a dressing up outfit.

You’ll need a couple of AAA batteries and Philips head screwdriver for the phone so bear that in mind. The stethoscope does come with a watch battery included. Our 6 year old really enjoyed playing with this set. There are enough different pieces included to keep her amused and they are fairly realistic. What I really like about it is the case. It’s not only handy to keep all the pieces in but also acts as a doctor case for your 6 year old to approach you to diagnose your latest illness! Quality seems pretty good and both the case and parts have taken a bit of abuse without any breakages. Overall a thumbs up from us!

What child doesn't like to play doctors, whether with their teddies or their siblings? This set provides everything for their little imaginations, my twin grandchildren were soon giving each other injections, looking in each others ears and mouths and listening to their hearts, before moving on to examine their dinosaurs and putting the plasters on the playmobil cows.Whist the set is probably a little more expensive than average, the items have a nice feel to them and are not made of thin plastic, so worth spending the little bit extra.Overall a great set for little imaginations.

This is a really good set. It has everything and is strong. Also comes with most of the batteries required (just not the AA ones). My daughter loves it. She's almost 3 but will grow into it still as she only uses a few things ar the moment. The only disappointing thing is that the box looks all organised with a space for everything but that is only temporary packaging insets and you end up just throwing everything in the box and it's all a bit of a mess and I have a feeling parts will get lost because it's hard to track them.

The kit was all-plastic and seemed durable, with plenty of items with which a modern doctor will be familiar! The electronic pager seemed to emit authentic sounds and the stethoscope produced some realistic noises too. My five-year-old granddaughter was intrigued with the set - the many instruments giving rise to useful discussion. She kept returning to it throughout the day. My guess is that it was both instructive and diverting and so was good value. Perhaps I should have bought the child's white coat to go with it too!

Our five year old loved this set and, after Christmas Dinner, went around the various snoozing grown-ups taking temperatures and checking blood pressure. She loved it.Only slight annoyance was that I had to carefully remove the picture stuck to front of the case (and I could only just manage to remove all the glue) because it depicted a BOY as the Doctor on the front. This would not have gone down well. In this day and age, it should not be a boy as the doctor and a nurse as a girl. Graphics Department please note!!!!!

I had already bought my son a doctor's kit but I wish I had seen this one first as it's one of the best I've seen. The stethoscope makes a noise and you can put batteries in the phone to make it bleep and ring. I'm not sure it was worth the batteries to be honest, as my son was just happy to pretend with it. He loves examining his dad and me, seeing if our ears are ok and putting the plasters on us. Great fun and a really comprehensive kit.

We were given a dr. kit that was just a few pieces and not very realistic, and consequently my daughter didn't even touch it. I believe that children appreciate toys more when they are a higher quality, and this dr. kit is one of the best and most complete I've seen for the price. My daughter loves this one and plays with it all the time. I have been pleased with the Learning resources brand in general and would recommend.
