I recently bought my (just) three year old the Tag Reading system, world map and trial book. She is fascinated by the huge variety of sounds, words, short sentences, information, etc, available on each page of the book - hundreds within one short book, and countless on the map. I am going to buy her one or two Junior books as the Tag Reading system is compatible with the Junior books, which makes it pretty good value and something that she will not grow out of very quickly. It doesn't work the other way round, though; the Tag Junior pens in the shape of a bear are not compatible with the older reading books, so for new purchases, get the Tag reading system pen, rather than the bear shaped junior one.

My little boy (6 years old) loves his tag pen and books. The great thing about the tag pen and books is that children hardly know they are learning. My little boy plays with it on an evening after he's gone to bed. He loves the puzzles and is reading for fun for the first time ever.This is the perfect gift for children who just need that extra nudge to see reading as a fun activity rather than a chore. I would recommend it and plan to stock up on some more books for long car journeys as we get closer to the summer holidays.

I bought this set for my daughter, who has speech difficulties. The set fits on her Violet reader, and she can have two additional books, so more books fit with this set. She loves the songs that feature throughout the books and the emphasis on vowel sounds has helped her to begin trying to copy. She is progressing well, and when she's ready I'm sure they'll be useful for reading as they are very engaging. The repetition might drive you insane though :)

Really useful educational reading tool that children will love to sit and play with. My 2 1/2 year old really enjoys sitting by herself and playing with it. Easy for younger children to use and robust enough to with standard a toddler! The books read the story, make noises and play music. You can personalise and update your tag online. Brilliant present, value for your money.

These systems are great for the kids, my 2 year old got the hang of it almost immediately, however theres a lot of faffing about involved in setting it up and the putting on and taking off of the books on the programme you put on your pc.Still is a good educational tool for the kiddies

I brought theses with the leapfrog tag junior ashen they were half price, my little boy loves to look at books and Ross buttons but to encourage him to talk some more I thought I'd try the leapfrog read along, I am so pleased with these. 7 books for £10 they are fantastic.

My granddaughter loves these books and sits with scout reading system quietly, enjoying being read to, the books are assisting her to talk, recognize words, and she just has fun, dances along with the tunes.

Great value for money. My daughter plays with these all the time. Each book has a song and at only 22 month my daughter can now sing most of the words! I even find myself singing them! Great learning tools!

Great product, the books are sturdy brightly coloured with a reasonalbe length for a little learner. Fun idea and great price. The concept can only add to the work I do with my little one.

My one year old grandson might be too young to fully enjoy this product right now but he will grow into it. I believe young children should be stimulated and it's never too young to start.

Was expecting a bit more. But got them on a sale so can't complain. Got different books to use with the tag already and i found the story books more interesting

Not sure yet but packaged well and as my daughter read the ratings I am sure this will be a great benefit to my little grandaughter in her early learning years

These books are great, have some lovely little rhymes in them. My 2 year old daughter loves them. My 6 year old son also likes to sit and play with them too.
