'Father Christmas' bought a Leap TV console and a selection of games for my sons aged 4 and nearly 3. This was the first game they chose to play (yes! even over Frozen and Pixar Pals!). They got it straight away. It's particularly good because you can set it to very easy (the kart won't veer off the path and is more difficult to accidently send it the wrong way town the track) so very little ones can have a go at playing, or bigger kids can feel the glory of coming first! All my nieces and nephews were over on Christmas Day. The eldest two had bought their Xbox One and had been glued to it, but eventually, all 8 of them, age ranges from 2-9, were in the other room just gagging for a turn. The educational aspect,in my view, is only ok from what I've seen so far. Before each race, the voice asks you to select a particular number from four given in order to receive 'power ups' (things you can launch at the other racers). I have to say, my son is not the least bit interested in this part and just selects any old numbers in his haste to get to the real action and to be honest, it doesn't make a bit of difference to the actual game. I'm sure other children who have even a teeny bit of concentration could possibly benefit though. I've found that I'm raising two little dinosaurs who are more interested in leaping off furniture and roaring. Still, there's always hope! Otherwise I'd just unleash them onto the playstation! The game itself is great fun, I find myself shoutng 'my turn next! Don't jump on me while it's my turn!' It reminds me very much of Super Mario Kart, which I used to adore playing for hours and hours. Lots of great characters to choose from, nice tracks that you can flip if you get bored of them.I'm actually selling this game though as I discovered it was lost on Boxing Day and assumed (after turning the house and my children upside down to find it) it had been thrown out amongst all the carnage of selection box wrappers and bits of christmas crackers. Even went through the recycling bags to find it. I ended up playing again to download it directly onto the console only for my son to find it. Should have known...

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️(5/5)We bought this to go along with LeapTV game system.Pros:• The game is quite easy to get into and (as far as I can tell) changes difficulty depending on the user profile / age• My girls have played it for hours and we've even joined in• Educational; with bonuses when building the car given for correctly adding / subtracting numbers• it's a mariokart knock-off (not a bad thing! It's fun)Cons:• Nothing to do with this game (hence keeping 5*) but the LeapTV system might be quickly outgrown - thinking we may have been better investing in a WiiU with some age appropriate games that will grow with them.• Again... nothing to do with this game, but there doesn't seem to be very many games for the system. Not sure how many more will be developed for it in the future either

My 5 year old enjoys the driving aspect and for each race it requires him to answer some numbers questions. Starts at, "Choose number 5" then moves to "Choose number 48" then to things like "Choose the number 1 more than 34." Though this does ramp up a bit too quickly for my preference, since I didn't feel like he was really consistently solid at identifying 2 digit numbers before it moved on to the 1 more or less type questions.

Brilliant game! Very similar to mario kart but for toddlers. 1 or 2 player settings with loads of cars/characters and race tracks to choose from. My 4 year old seems to have out grown all the other leaptv games - but not this one! The whole family love it, especially being able to race each other. Just enough number recognition and maths involved to help the kids learn without realising is an extra bonus. Well worth the price

I purchased this product for my 5 year old daughter. The game is very easy for her to use and she learns many basic math skills while playing. My only complaint is the Leaptv takes a long time to load games...not just this game but all of the games. My two year old son plays with my daughter and the both love the game. It is easy for him to play, as well. However, they often get distracted while waiting for the game to load.

This is the first game I bought for my son and it's by far his favourite. He has loads of fun playing and learning and I have honestly seen a very big improvement in his counting, adding and subtracting skills. If you can only afford one I highly recommend this one in particular as I think it's the best. The best part about the leaptv learning system is they actually want to learn, they will never feel forced.

Good game, my son enjoys it. Educational aspect is quite limited (just a few fairly easy arithmetic questions at the beginning of each game), so if you want education, this is probably not the right game. My son is 5 and loves it - I don't know how entertaining it would be for a much older child. I think for a 5-6 year old it's fine, but won't be much of a challenge for an older child. But I may be wrong...

Bought for my niece as a xmas present and was very impressed at how good the game was:Challenges the kids to answer simple questions (although this can be varied by age/requirement)And then rewards you to actually race! which I was impressed! You have level more options than Mario Kart!Anyway - highly recommended for the 4-8years old kids in your life

Most of the leap games are pretty janky if you know what I mean. Almost seems like they've been plucked straight from the early 90's graffic wise, but out of them all that we have the Kart Racing game is definitely the best. We bought a second controller to play with our kid. He loves it. (5 years old for reference)

My son loves this game and it is definitely helping with number recognition and basic addition and subtraction. The difficulty of the problems increases with his ability. The ratio of time spent on math problems to actual racing is probably about 1 to 5 which is about the right ratio to keep his attention.

Both my kids (5 and 2) can play this game. The mini game where you have to answer the questions correctly to build the car is awesome because it gets harder as they answer the questions correctly. Kiddos love it and it keeps them busy while I do housework. Overall I like the LeapTV and the racing game.

LeapFrog fun for my son. 4 years old, he loves it . also from an adult point of view the disc is very durable as well as the case. It will last a long time. I especially like the educational part of it it's a lot of fun teaching my son and his Playmates the math questions on it

My son loves this game and it has them doing maths without knowing it as the have to answer math questions to get the pieces to build the car for the next race. Highly recommend he started playing this one at 4 and the questions get harder as they go

Very good game to help our 1st grader learn how to add and subtract! Great for our Pre-K child to do number recognition. Both children can play together at the same time on their own level. And game grows with the child and goes up to multiplication!

Excellent game , great learning game for adding and subtracting sums , even better the fact that you can have multiplayer, my boy plays with this one a lot and I play it with him as well which he loves. Excellent game
