This helmet appears to be very durable and safe. There is a dial that allows you to adjust the size inside the helmet and another adjustment point to configure where the back strap should cradle the base of the skull. I have given it 4 stars because when the strap is set to the shortest length it becomes awkward and causes it to sit right in the corner of the throat - ideally it would be better towards the chin. In addition the photo of the product does not show that on the other side of the helmet there is a huge ace of spades painted on it - my son insists on keeping it as he is a sucker for camo otherwise I would return for false advertising.

I've never had a helmet that fit so well and so comfortably, but also got so many compliments.A friend compared it to something out of 2001: A Space Odyssey. Nice one
