I didn't buy these from Amazon but another retailer so can't comment on that part of it but I did first see them on here and read the reviews and that's what sparked me off wanting to buy them.I was not sure whether to buy these or the larger size but managed to find out how much they held and measured the amount out in one of my own wine glasses. These hold quite a bit and I think the larger size would have been a bit OTT. I would say these are the perfect size, not huge and silly but you wouldn't be jumping up and down every 5 minutes to fill them either!In particular I love that the glasses and chunky and heavy to hold but actually have quite a delicate look to them particularly with the lovely bee design round the glass.

These Larochere glasses have a lovely summery look to them, the bees make one think of sunny days, picnics and drinks on a terrace. The glasses are sturdily made, v well made, and despite their good looks are durable. I bung mine in a dishwasher and have recently dropped one downstairs, which the glass survived without a chip or crack. These are moulded glass (there is a visible seam) but don't be put off, they are designed to look like elegant glasses which would be socially acceptable to use at a dinner party. They make a lovely change from all the dull ubiquitous modern 'sleek' ie boring and featureless glasses normally on sale everywhere for everyday household usage. I love these,

I went to a new year's eve dinner party in 2006 in the south of France and the host had the tumbler version of these glasses, which he used to serve water. For me it was love at first sight and I had no idea of the extent of the range then. I started to buy a few with each French visit, and still do as it's now one of my holiday 'things'. However, amazon have supplied me with a water carafe, a wine carafe, a jug, (lovely for pimms), wine glasses, two small bowls for nibbles with drinks, a lovely plate and my favourite thing of all time, a petite butter dish perfect for dinner parties. If you are a fan of lovely serving things search out the butter dish, you don't need the rest of the range as it really goes with everything.

These glasses are reassuringly chunky and weighty, making them very suitable for use in the garden although they are pretty and elegant enough to adorn the dinner table as well.Each glass is decorated with four embossed bees around the rim and all of the ones I have seen have visible seams on two sides where the two halves have been joined together, although the extent of visibility varies quite significantly from appearing like a crack in the glass (with an indent big enough to catch a nail in) to a more imperceptible lined ridge. I've looked through a good quantity in a shop that is selling the glasses at a much higher price than the RRP, which rules out seconds, and didn't find any 'perfect'

I've had some tumblers in this design for about 15 years & they still look good so I wanted to try the wine glasses.They are a lovely shape & are quite heavy so feel substantial, I've already had compliments about them. It's good that they can be bought individually too so you can build up your collection!I had originally ordered the larger size which was chipped on arrival. There was no quibble about a refund and this was processed very quickly. I decided on reflection to go for the smaller size and they are perfect.

These stemmed glasses are lovely.. Elegant and get strong looking.. Perfect for Bailey's .. Sherry.. Or any beverage.. .i have. Even served desserts in them.. Nice size.. And I only own two.. So hope to buy more soon.. And some tall tumblers.. And small tumblers.. They arrived well backed..and if I could afford more right now.. I would buy more.. And I am fussy.. So my advice is to try something from this range.. But leave some for me...

'Chunky' heavy wine glasses. Arrived very well packaged and on time. After going through a spate of breaking wine glasses, I decided that I needed something more sturdy. These are totally what I was looking for and won't easily be knocked over or shattered in the dish washer.Extremely happy with this purchase.

Lovely product. Beautifully shaped glass, good quality and it has a good weight. It sits nice in the hand and makes you enjoy using it.I've gradually built up a collection of the La Rochere Bee glasses and this one is a great fit in the collection.I'll probably buy a few more of these for gifts!

I was in search of a wine glass which would not break with rough use; this fits the bill. I like the bee design and the shape is nice too. Don't care much for the seams on either side of the glass but perhaps that is necessary in this type of glass product.

Lovely shaped glass with an attractive bee design on the main body.Thickness of the glass is not to my liking (especially for a drinking glass) but I bought these as a gift for my niece who is collecting the range and obviously isn't of the same opinion.

Chunky, heavy and you can see the seam where the mould joins.....and they're great!These aren't fine dining wine glasses; they knock over and break easily. These are stronger and much more fun.On the downside, they're pricey.

I bought 2 of these for my son and daughters teaching assistant whose husband is a bee keeper. They are beautiful, very sturdy and definitely excellent value for money. Like them so much may get some for myself..........

arrived well boxed and in good time. Heavy and they are seamed, but I am quite sure the recipient will like them. I may order myself some. They are different to the norm. Would recommend.

Very good service and lovely glasses. Perfect glass size for a large wine. We had a manufacturing scuff on one glass and immediately was send another with no problem at all.

Lovely glasses, really great value for money and stylish to boot. Go really well with some La Rochere tumblers I already had. Arrived quickly and all intact. Very pleased
