I wasn't sure when I ordered this if it would be the right size for my needs (even though I did know the physical measurements of the funnel itself). I wanted a funnel to be able to easily pour the filtered water from my Brita pitcher into my "thermos" for work, which I do daily. I also wanted to be able to put the funnel in the dishwasher to sterilize it every now and then. My previous plastic funnel (which is all I could find where I live, ie. no gourmet cook stores that would typically sell this) was beginning to worry me for cleanliness, after I had used it for a while and used the dishwasher too, due to staining, etc. Now - no more worries. Very happy and the size was just right.

Sailor Jerry's changed the design of their handle-sized bottles from one with a handle to one without a handle. The older style bottle is easier to pour because of the actual handle, narrower neck and smaller plastic pourer or "fun stopper". The newer bottle doesn't have a handle and has a much larger fun stopper that causes the rum to splash out of the bottle too much when pouring. I bought this funnel and it is the perfect size for decanting from the newer bottle into the older style bottle which I prefer. I uploaded a couple of photos so you can see the size of the funnel in relation to a handle-sized bottle.

Feeding hummingbirds just got a whole lot faster and easier thanks to this funnel, and I'm delighted to have metal (and not the carcinogenic plastic which also scratches easily and then doesn't work so well). Easy to clean, easy to use, hanging in view in the kitchen with black and/or metal appliances, it looks cute. This funnel is expected to last as long as I do. Enjoy!

I've bought two different funnels in this companies brand.. I never thought that I would say a funnel is not only so well manufactured and looks museum quality as well. To tell you the truth I was a bit hesitant about the prices of them at first but I'm really happy that I did purchase them.. If you need a nice funnel you won't be disappointed with this brand.

I love my little funnel. Its good quality, and so very shiny. I'm like a Magpie, attracted to the shiny things.I use it for many things, dry as well as wet.The funnel part is about the size of my little (ladies) finger, so nothing too large.I am very pleased with my purchase and would recommend it happily to others.

Great funnel! Stainless steel of good quality, nice polish, useful handle, sits well on bottles - does not wobble due its shape - it has a small flat base at the neck. Also, small ridge runs along the nozzle giving you a small gap between nozzle and container allowing air to escape and smooth filling. Very easy to wash.

If I known it was made of two separate pieces I just wouldn't have purchased it. Anything dry and powdery will accumulate on the inside ridge. it's preferable pressed it out of one piece of stainless steel heat treated then polish it to mirror finish.

This is a nice, light, small funnel that is perfect for a number of uses. The funnel neck is small and can fit into smaller bottles and jugs. I love that it's stainless steel, so it can be used with warm/hot items as well. Easy to clean and well-made.

Pricy but excellent funnel. I use it boiling water multiple times a day for over 3 months. No signed of wear or rust.My only problem is the tiny air gap doesn't do much so I generally hold it to allow sufficient airflow, a minor inconvenience

It is small but better than another was I was about to purchase that had 3 different sizes. They were tiny. Buy this you wont be disappointed. I use it often and hasn't rusted or discolored!!!

I really like this. There are some tacts that might collect water and rust in the long term, but other than that it's great. Very useful for transferring my cup of chai to my travel mug.

I use this to put protein powder into my water bottles. I hate that protein shakers all look the same and so I use just a regular water bottle with a wire whisk inside!

The review I gave for the 5 1/2 inch funnel was for this one. I sent the 5 1/2 inch back because it was much too large. This funnel is well made and is perfect size.

These stainless funnels are exactly as described. I bought them to transfer olive oil from the 1.5 gallon jug into smaller containers. works perfectly.
