As Simon wrote. In the XT, the Kool-Stop squeak and vibrate rather unpleasantly. Braking effect ok, but not ideal either. Not recommended.

Were mounted at XT Bremen queues and viebrirten but unbearable then I exchanged them for jagwire and everything was again used to good
