This cot was a revelation to me, only having previously been exposed to the huge and heavy typical folding style travel cot.The pros:So light and compact - great for traveling without a carCosts less than some hotels charge to hire a cotEasy to assemble, looks greatBaby sleeps so well in it - often better than his crib at home. The mattress it came with is absolutely fine. The cons:Getting it back into its bag can take a bit of doing: can a bit like trying to put a jumper on an octopus. Some quality concerns: the storage bag had a small tear (on the seam) when we got it - annoying, but not enough to bother exchanging it. After a few assemblies/disassemblies the flexi-wire that holds it in shape has become a bit misshapen: again, this doesn't affect its functionality as it stands, but it's disappointing that it's showing this wear already.Longevity: our baby is 3 months and 61cm at the moment and he nearly fills it. I think the 6 month age limit may be ambitious: I suspect we'll need to have another solution before long.Overall I would recommend on the basis that it's a cheap and practical solution compared with hiring a cot or lugging a massive travel cot on public transport: it serves its purpose well and I feel comforted knowing that my baby is the only one to have slept in it. I use standard fitted crib sheets which do the job, although sometimes make the oval-shaped mattress roll up a bit (until baby is lying on it) because of the elastic around the edge. I wouldn't suggest paying extra for the purpose-made sheets.

This bassinet is great for smaller babies when travelling but has a limited window of usefulness. My baby slept in it happily from newborn until around 3 months. By 4 months old she was getting to big for it and she's not a big baby.It comes with rather thin padded insert for the bottom. You can buy an inflatable mattress if you need something a bit more comfy, however my baby was happy to sleep on it as it comes - although I always made sure it was placed on soft carpeted flooring or rug rather than hard floor. It's pretty easy to put up and pack away. There is a knack to folding it down but I never had a problem with it. Only problem that I noticed was that some of the parts started to become a little misshapen after being folded back down lots of times. This didn't affect functionality however. The whole thing folds up small into the bag it comes in, which is so easy to pack into a suitcase when travelling. The zip up mosquito net is a nice feature if you are travelling somewhere were insect bites are a possibility.

This little pop up cot is brilliant we took it on holiday to the Canaries for our 6 month old baby and used it everyday, we had it by our sunbeds in the shade and put him in there for a sleep safe in the knowledge that that no flies or other insects could get him as the zip around net stops all that, i just put a towel and blanket on top of the mattress to pad it out a bit as its a little on the thin side but for fold away and travelling i would not of expected anything thicker, I've advised all my friends with babies to buy one uf they are going on holiday this year, it was so handy to have, i just drapped a big chifon scarf over it aswel in the day to help take the bright day light off itwhilst he was asleep.

Folds up really small to fit in your case, We used it while in Thailand as we have family who live in the North East near the Cambodian/Laos border.I would say it's fine for up to around a 6 month old but if your baby rolls around a lot then it's a bit flimsy. On the whole it does a good job but getting baby in and out in the middle of the night for nappy changes or feeds is a little bit of a task.. I suppose it's fine if you have limited space and are camping. We found it better to have a seperate mosquito net and a her own bed/cot was best, if you can't do that then this is a good value for money alternative.

This pop up bassinette is really easy to assemble but - with instructions - also to disassemble which is usually the trickiest part. I bought it for a trip with my 5 months old daughter and the size was perfect for her. I also bought the additional inflatable mattress since I read some reviews about the provided mattress not being comfortable enough and I have to agree. The only issue I experienced was the noise of the mosquito net's zip that was waking up my baby daughter (it's the regular noise of a zipper to be honest but it was bothering her). No biggy, we simply didn't use the mosquito net!

Does the job. We have bought it for a trip to the US where we will have a spare bed, so no worries about mattresses. We will just be putting on the other bed! The mattress it comes with is obviously soft or it wouldn't pack in, but the crib is the perfect size to put a pillow in if you need more padding. My son is 3.5 months and in the 75th for length, but we should get a few more uses out of this - probably up to 6 months. Worth buying to keep instead of paying 50 pounds to hire a manky hotel travel cot anyway!

Used this for my 3mth old son when we went to Spain. He slept in it the whole night so must've been comfortable enough (we did place a blanket beneath it just so the cold from the tiled floor wasn't too much) he was also the only one who didn't waken up in the morning without any bites!! I carried this in his baby bag in case our cases got lost and he'd at least have somewhere to sleep. It is compact in size and light in weight. He'll be too big for it next year to sleep in but maybe use it as a playpen instead

I bought this so i did not have to take the moses basket to grandparents each time, it is so handy how it folds up into a bag and once its up it is nice and safe, the mozzie net is good for keeping dogs away too! I would recommend buying one, though i would say its not worth spending more for the blow up mattress and sheet, just use the mattress that comes with it with a flat sheet, it keeps them lower down in the cot and less to have to carry!

Pleased with this product have ordered it to take on holiday but currently putting 8week old baby down in it for nap time to get her used to it before we go away and because it's bigger than her Moses basket. The mattress that comes with it is very thin so am using the mattress from my pram to make it more comfy. Lovely design and easy to put up - not yet attempted to put it down and back in the carry case but the instructions seem clear.

Forget those big heavy travel cots, we have used this to travel to France, Nederlands and Spain and have put this to the extreme test and it has passed with flying colours! It is super easy to put together (once you know how) and take apart. It is very light and it is very cosy.I would suggest before travelling to put your baby in the travel cot for some naps so that they get used to sleeping in it. Excellent purchase and design!

I was meaning to post this review a year ago! We took my then 3 month old to a caravan! She slept better than she did at home! We put a throw underneath as te mattress isn't exactly luxury. Absolutely wonderful for the money. It says not to use after 6 months, but my little 1 year old still likes using it now as a play place. Really lovely. Incredible quality also, really is one of the handiest things I brought my daughter!

This has been perfect to travel with. Its plenty roomy and so easy to assemble. If you struggle there are videos online to help.It will likely only last until the wee one is around 6 months old. Theres plenty of room but with a tent style fabric it probably wont be too practical when baby is sitting/pulling themselves up.The bassinet comes in its own zip up bag, do once folded barely takes up any room.

Excellent value. It's so light, and so easy to put in your suitcase or bag for travel. Easy to assemble - sturdy enough for what it is (I wasn't afraid of it falling down!). We didn't buy the separate inflatable mattress or sheet - I don't think they are necessary. The mattress is fine. We just put a blanket or towel under the entire cot to provide a bit more cushion. Our baby sleeps really well in it!

Looked around for a while for a good travel cot that can be packed in a backpack rather than a great hefty thing that requires a car boot, as per most travel cots. This hit the mark - and really great for a baby, from 6 weeks up to when they can crawl or easily roll over. Once they're on the move, then this is no longer suitable. But in the stationary period (say up to 6 months), this is great.

I have this in my living room as a day bed for my 8 month old, it's about the same size as a Moses basket so not to big. It folds away easy & comes with a storage bag so you take it out with you. The mattress that comes with it is a little bit flat but you can buy an inflatable mattress separately if required. My little 8 month old sleeps well in it & enjoys sitting in it playing too.
