These are fantastic, my border collie loves them, i am a massive fan of the kong squeaky tennis balls, and so is he (i like him to catch a soft ball with some "give" so he doesn't injure himself, the fact that these squeak is therefore perfect. he loves anything that squeaks.)as soon as i saw these to buy i just grabbed one without a seconds thought and had no regrets.i can't throw for toffee and carrying a ball flinger everywhere is tiresome, but the rope on these makes life a lot easier as i can lob this toy as far as i can launch a regular ball with a flinger, but without the added faff of carrying around a big plastic claw.they're also brilliant for playing tug, standing up to my boy a lot better than the usual soft toys he likes to play tug with.the Only thing i can really criticise on them is the rough texture of the rope. i only let my boy play tug if he has a hold of the ball, rather than the rope as i feel the rope is a bit harsh for his gums (they have bled on occasion after playing tug in this manner with the toy)however the nature of the rope itself being completely nylon means it won't rot and is easily washed.and at £1.85 (VetUK price) they're cheaper than the tennis balls alone at pets at home. so the cost is easily justified and it's nothing to really cry over if they happen to get lost.(and a few of ours have when they've been lost sight of in the river!)I'll mention as well that these DO float, but become waterlogged and difficult for the dog to see after a few throws as they begin to sit lower in the water, so maybe best to stick with cheap 4 for £1 tennis balls or sticks if your dog does a lot of swimming and water retrieval.

My Westie pup has played with the various sizes of Kong squeaker balls since she was a tiny puppy. I came across the ball with rope on amazon one day and ordered as an add-on product and my dog adores it! We go to the park every evening and as soon as we get there she goes crazy waiting for us to throw her ball. It's easier to throw and I can throw it much further than her normal Kong balls, which she loves. It's also the cutest thing, seeing her running around the park with the rope in her mouth, as the ball trails behind her. She is a bit of a chewer, and even after using this toy every day for the past few weeks, hasn't managed to wreck it. I've ordered another 2 as back up though,as she totally adores this toy!

Great quality tennis ball that my dog Whisky loves. Have purchased several of these as he loves the fact they squeak! Excellent quality with a strong yet chewable texture so they can easily get it to squeak. I've yet to have one that has fallen apart which is extremely important as bits of broken tennis ball can be a choking hazard. The addition of the rope adds another dimension to the toy allowing for tugging and let's you launch the ball further when throwing. The medium size fits most standard plastic ball launchers. From a trusted, well-established manufacturer, this range has a variety of different sized and shaped tennis ball type toys with or without a squeak feature.I highly recommend this brand.

The dog loves all kinds of balls but especially balls with rope attached, as he's a small dog and can't really pick up tennis sized balls in his mouth unless he grabs onto some of the fluff. This ball/rope combo has survived better than most, as usually they end up with the rope being macerated within a matter of hours, or the rope comes out of the ball and then it's just a ball. Kong toys are more durable than most and this rope is well designed as it's made out of some strong nylon type woven material. He still chews it, but it seems to be holding up so far. And the ball seems less fluff-shedding than usual tennis balls. I'd buy this one again as it was good value.

Bought this as my 6 month old Gsd puppy loves his Kong squeaky tennis balls. I have found him with two in his mouth at once so decided they need to be on a rope just in case he tried to swallow them. ( don’t let him have tennis Kongs without ropes now. This product seems durable and strong. The rope is a little rough to hold but ok. One appears to be harder to squeak than the other. I have tried the bigger size Kong tennis balls for him but he prefers the mediums so being a spoilt pup the rope balls are safer, at least if he tries to swallow them I have something to pull on. Yuck

I like this ball and my dog LOVES it!It isn't a toy that a dog can be left alone with - as other reviews point out, it can easily be destroyed if the dog is a picker or a chewer. However, I haven't bought a ball on a string to give to my dog indoors, I bought it to take outside and throw for him. This is perfect for that! Anyone who gives this to their dog to play with on their own is missing the point of it really.Best bit is that it floats so I can still fish it out of the pond when my dog drops it in on his way to get a drink.

I have yet to find a better fling thing! The long rope makes sure the ball flies a long way, even for poor throwers like myself... Nice tough ball, the dogs love to make it squeak by chomping on it when they bring it back. And therein lies the key....this is not a chew toy, it's a throwing toy! It's not meant for your dog to keep and subsequently destroy, that's what bones are for.... Once the game is over, the ball goes back in your pocket, simply don't let them have it, until the next time. It's not rocket science, folks...

We go through tennis balls in minutes, but so far (over a week of daily use) it is still in tact. It has a bit of a squeak inside, so is obviously there to encourage chewing and the rope can be pulled from one side to the other - making it a bit more interesting for the dog. I have a ball thrower, but much prefer this as it goes just as far and is less to carry home; also you don't get slimy hands picking the ball up! We love this product and when it wears out, I will buy another as I think it is very good value for money.

This is my labrador puppy's favourite toy. Holding it by the rope, you can throw it a long way, it bounces - not too high but unpredictably. It is a good size for her mouth - and it squeaks. She LOVES retrieving, and this is the perfect toy for her. This is NOT a chew toy. The tennis ball is quite hard and will stand up to a certain amount of chewing, but that's not what it's designed for. I keep this toy in my pocket on walks, and when we've finished playing fetch, it goes back in the pocket for next time.

Tennis ball on a rope! And it squeaks! What's not to like? The dogs love it, I love it (i can throw it much further, and the rope makes it that bit easier to find when they get a rabbit scent and abandon it in long grass). We've thoroughly enjoyed playing with it.The reason I have deducted a star is that the knots on eat end of the rope come untied very easily (14 week puppy is constantly unfastening them) and if the rope comes out of the ball, I can't think how I'd get it back in.

Our little Golden Retriever puppy loves this thing to bits throwing it around his head. the rope is made of a nylon ish material which is a tad sore if you were to be having a tug o war with your dog but it does stand up to a dogs rough and tough sort a play although if i were you i would tie a second knoght at the ball end just to make sure it does not come off as our one was very loose. Hes already had hours of fun with it and its only been 3 weeks i would strongly recommend it.

Have previously paid twice the price for the same toy at the pet store. My labrador loves it, he only gets to play retrieve with it on walks as he's a chewer. It even fits into a standard ball thrower and floats (for a while just enough not to loose it). If I throw an ordinary tennis ball now he ignores it in favour of the kong ball and I think it's safer with the rope attached as he's almost swallowed tennis balls in his excitement to catch them.

Wow, i a a rubbish throw, but the rope on this enables you to throw the ball really far and my friend's german shepherd had amazing fun with it - so much she stuck by our side on a walk, instead of disappearing off to explore the trees/dogs/people! My friend was so impressed she is getting one.Not so good for my St Bernard pup, as he is not interested in running after balls, but still useable as a tug toy and it does squeak, which he enjoys.

I am really impressed with the Kong tennis balls! I thought they wouldn't be as good as a proper tennis ball especially cause they squeak too but I was really impressed! Having a Labrador he's a strong chewer but I'm happy to say the ball and the rope are still intact and they offer him hours of entertainment! He loves taking it out with him and he also plays tug o war with his doggy friends. Love it, highly recommend it!

This is a great toy. My working cocker spaniel loves chasing a ball and took a few days to get used to the rope part (I coiled it up at first) as she didn't like it trailing on the floor. The only negatives are if your dog flicks it at the back of your legs or likes to bite the ball on the seam until it splits open! We now restrict how often she has it and use a ball thrower with a normal ball on our main walk.
