OK bought these a few years ago now..... so long ago I've died of old age and risen from the dead.always in my pouch... great for when your dicking around inside a 3ph board and you've become fond of those five fingers….. they'll grab that cable and sneak it back in that live breaker all day long... But don't go thinking you can tighten up your nuts with them...… cos your eyes will water.honestly there brilliant, everyone knicks them of me..... time they bought there own.

These are for the rare occasions that I might have to fit or remove a wire from a live terminal. They are much more solid than I expected but they loose a star because the ends of the snipe nose don't align properly but still a worthwhile addition to the tool kit for safe working. This is my second Knipex tool that doesn't come up to my high expectations; hope it's not a trend.

great for use within the older style distribution boards where less care was taken to insulate items within the board leaving exposed live parts, obviously the preferred method is to isolate the board before working but this is not always possible so these limit the chance of shorting between earth or phases when prodding around the rats nests of old boards and some new ;)

Decided to invest in a pair of these bad boys and I'm not one to part with my money lightly! They are perfect. Good solid construction. completely safe and gives you complete confidence rummaging around in DB's and various other enclosures. Keep's your mitts well clear of conductive parts which cant be a bad thing. I 110% recommend these pliers.

Bit bigger than i thought. The tip doesn't fit as well as it should. But as an electrician they are great for pulling fuses or working in live boards/ containment. Especially in old boards where thre is no shielding.Constantly having colleague's borrowing them.Would have to replace immediately if broken or lost.

Ok it's fully plastic, looks feels like a toy. What is much of a bother to me is that it does not have the spring back action, allowing it to return to an open postion. One point is clear, it does the job.

Very useful if you regularly work on live distribution boards. They feel well made and make pulling cables through a DB much safer. They are obviously not a replacement for normal metal long nose pliers.

Great for purpose, ends do displace a bit when used but to be expected with plastic. Very strong and saves an accident when no choice but to work on live equipment

Totally solid tool which was a surprise considering what it is made out off, feel very safe using the pliers on live works, expected nothing less from Knipex......

If you buy this product, you obviously know what you're buying. This my second one, the other one got knicked at work.It's Knipex, it's compo, thank me later.

Not a tool I use every day, but as a professional electrician who often has to work inside consumer units, it's something you'll wish you'd bought years ago.

fantastic addition to any spark tool kit.safety at its best.in my opinion these should be compulsory for every electrician.very happy with them, thanks.
