I take my own drink with me to work, having to regularly fill up a glass from a larger bottle. I decided I needed something a little better than a standard glass - and I like having my own things that only I use.While this does work to keep things cooler for longer, it obviously isn't as good at insulating drinks as a travel mug is - the open top is a clear inlet for heat. Having said that, it's perfectly fine for something you're drinking now, rather than in three hours time.As with all Klean Kanteen products, I have to mention its looks - it is a thing of beauty. It's ever so slightly matte to the touch, feels extremely solidly made,

I needed a cup for my nightstand, one with a lid to prevent our meddlesome cats from ogling and pawing inside. I used to have those generic plastic/thermo cups, but those always proved flimsy in some way (esp. the closing mechanism - small and difficult to wash).The Klean cup is a whole different league: it's super simple and sturdy, as is the lid (which has to be purchased separately, btw). Thankfully, the lid is easy to remove (no endless screwing or prying a super tight fit) and has a nice wide mouth (read: you don't have to drill a hole in it to make the fluid flow faster). It has quite a pronounced tab that goes over the rim of the cup to make it easier to take it off.

This is my 4th Klean Kanteen that is in daily use by me. I have one 12oz wide-mouth vacuum insulated bottle in Shale Black, one 16-oz of the same in Silver, both of which carry coffee to work. I also have a small Reflect with Bamboo lid in brushed steel. I love them all as they take a beating but can be cleaned up nicely in a jiffy.This vacuum insulated tumbler with pint lid works great for my morning smoothies, though I wish I got the larger size. I purchased the matching pint lid because it has a straw hole as well as a slide-open spot for sipping the contents. After I purchased, Klean Kanteen came out with an actual smoothie/straw combo which works essentially the same - I opted for aftermarket SS straws.

I'm a bit of a Klean Kanteen fan and we have many of their products in our house. I've been using their water bottles for years and we've even used their baby bottles and sippys with our daughter. I already have 6 standard pint cups, which we use instead of glasses but wanted something that I could take out and about with me that would keep things cool. Since I've had this I've found myself using it all the time - the insulation is fantastic and performs really well. The only downside is the price - I brought the lid to go with it to turn it into a 'to go' cup and for how much it costs it'd be nice if it was included.

Have been using Klean Kanteen kit for a couple of years and totally recommend it. This cup is great for using at work or home. It keeps the drink hot and the insulation means it's always cool on the outside. I use with the not included lid if in the car. The best thing about this stainless steel is that whatever you put into these, after its washed their is no smell or taste, especially like you get with plastic travel cups & coffee. Also these things are tough. They dent a bit if dropped but expect them to last years.

Bought for my coffee from costa to help reduce single use cup waste and it will keep it hot for 1-2 hours. However i used it on a very hot day a few weeks back, i filled it with cold water from the fridge and some ice cubes, one and a half hours later and the ice cubes were still frozen even with the lid off. The outside of the tumbler was dry (zero condensation) and warm to the touch,awesome stuff. I have many Klean Kanteen items and cannot recommend there products enough.

Excellent cup brushed steel look doesnt look tacky , use it for hot or cold drinks . It will keep hot for a good 30 minutes, the cup doesnt feel warm at all,maybe the lid you can buy will keep it longer, but didnt buy it as a travel cup? It will take a 440ml normal can size of lager and you can put ice cubes in and there is no condensation on the side . Also put whisky in with ice.

Great. Lovely feel to it and keeps drinks at the same temperature - hot or cold. Handy for hot drinks as the cup insulates your hand also.Pair it with spill resistant top and a stainless steel straw (I got mine from Basily on Amazon) and I have a great drinking system !Liquids have no taint and its a treat to wash. No problem if you drop it either.

The actual flask part seems, sturdy and well built. The lid/cap is ok - does the trick. I think the opening is slightly too big and the seal doesn't keep the heat in brilliantly. Basically this adds an hour drinking time to your coffee - just don't compare it to a proper thermos or the like.

I don't often rave about cups but these are the bee's knee's, i could not manage without mine, keeps my cold drinks cold all day, can be used with fizzy too. I tell everyone how amazing they are and have 5 tumblers for use in my family

ORDERED TWO .......DIFFERENT SIZES. Then I read all the readers comments.Disturbed to read that Lids were extra. The advertised image showed lid in place!Just taken delivery .....complete with lids. Panic over.Excellent products.

Great product. Keeps tea warm enough to drink for a good couple of hours. Size is perfect for a mug sized cup of tea. Only issue would be no way to close the opening at the top but doesn't spill in car as long as you don't over fill

The canteen at work gives you money off if you use your own cup, and this is perfect. Keeps your drink warm for quite a while. I don’t use the lid when drinking but it isn’t water right if you tip it over.

Sent my Amazon Wish List to the misses which included this little beauty. It's gorgeous, perfect for hot and cold drinks. Bought the lid and a metal bent straw to go with it.

Tough, keeps the drinks hot or cold (I drink green tea throughout the day and this keeps it warm for much longer than a standard cup / mug). Easy to clean and looks good.
