One of my favorite purchases at my local car boot sale was my Imperia Pasta Maker. Now although my pasta maker and super pasta recipe make beautiful pasta, I can't just get it to make perfectly filled ravioli. In order to do that, I either have to buy some extremely expensive attachment for my pasta maker, which I have seen very mixed reviews, or buy a ravioli tray! Hrmmmm... which one would you choose?Well me personally, I prefer the ravioli tray for making quantities of small ravioli. The great thing about this product is not just that it is non-stick, but also that it has a perfectly sized mini rolling pin for the job. Now some people might say that this is just a gimmick... I tend to disagree...The problem with using a standard sized rolling pin on this ravioli tray would be that if you didn't have it centred properly, you could force the tray over by being unbalanced. The mini rolling pin is the perfect size to gently roll the pastry sealed and cut ready for popping into boiling water.Lovely purchase... I would definitely recommend. Please let me know if you have enjoyed my review and feel free to leave suggestions for improvement. Thanks!!!

I make homemade pasta once a week and I love ravioli in particular! Before buying this mould making ravioli was a long affair, now I make them in a flash! it's easy to use: flour generously the mould first, cover with one THIN sheet of pasta, fill, wet along the grooves with a pastry brush, cover with second sheet of pasta, get rid of air pockets, press down along grooves with fingers, flour generously, tip over on a kitchen cloth, run fingers along grove marks, cut along marks with a pastry wheel....done! Rolling pin is useless, I tried it the first time and it made it impossible to take the individual ravioli out of the mould. I suggest filling the ravioli with a teaspoon-sized amount of stuffing, that's enough!...in Italy we like our ravioli with a very thin pasta (use the last setting on the machine and pass it through the rollers twice) and a small amount of very intensely flavored stuffing!

Sturdy tray with rolling pin. Instructions are not good. We used ur own pasta a d filling recipes. We used the pasta dough on 2nd to thiñest setting in pasta maker and followed the other reviewers here by generously flouring the tray and not over filling the holes. We used water rather than egg to seal the two pasta layers. We rolled the pasta together from middle out, then pressed along seal and removed the excess around the edge. Lastly the ravioli was tipped out. Sometimes it needed to be gently pulled to start. We used a knife to separate and left to dry a little on greaseproof paper or a tea towel. It did the job of removing the air well and no ravioli split when cooking. The size is generous. We used 8 as a portion.

I followed the instructions and got perfect ravioli first time. The mould doesn't cut the ravioli out for you, but the serrations seal the ravioli so once you've turned them out of the mould (with a little persuasion this was easy enough) you can use a knife or scissors to cut the individual pieces out. A couple more tips (which are also in the instructions): roll the ravioli from the middle outwards. Secondly, even though it's non-stick, you still need to flour the mould first. The mould itself has rubber feet which reduce it slipping around while you're rolling. It's got a really nice weight to it, feels well made - I'm confident I would get years of use out of this little gadget. This is one happy customer!

Once again it arrived promptly, upon opening the box it felt solid and I reckon will give us a good few years of service. This was a present for my 7 year old daughter who loves making pasta, so upon giving it her I was dragged into the kitchen, the choice of ravioli was Chicken and Rosemary.I have to say the attempt was a little fiddly but we soon sorted it out for the next two batches and we had 36 ravioli's ready for cooking. We found that if you roll over the tray first, then roll over the zig zag lines seperately it will cut the pasta for you.Overall we like it, now we have a method it is easy to make fresh ravioli.

Fantastic, well designed product. I was surprised by how heavy and sturdy it is - when you roll the dough over it, the tray stays in place without the need for a rubber mat/ non slippery surface. The ravioli comes out beautifully shaped. Although the instruction says you need to cut with knife/scissors to separate the ravioli, I found that if you press firmly on the edges with your fingers or rolling pin, they split beautifully, without the need for any cutting.

Generally good item, only taken a star off because the roller needs to be heavier to be any use and maybe should have higher ridges around the borders so when you roll it will create the seams. I have to press down with a knife or similar, or fingertip to make sure that they seal down and use a sharper knife to cut out. That's not really a big problem at all though, and the tray makes more uniform ones than if I was making them freehand

The item arrived on time and as advertised. The mould does not cut the ravioli , as other reviews have said, however if you press down harder on the pin it will do this. The rolling pin is very small, however it is proportional to the tray. I would prefer a full size pin (but of course think that the size provided is acceptable).A good quality product which is heavy weight, has rubber feet to prevent slipping and does as expected.

Only issue we had at first was the pasta stuck to the tin where it was thin and the more you touch the warmer the pasta gets.Really good tip that works great.before you put the pasta in we put the tray in the freezer to make it cold.Dust it with some flour. The then add you pasta. No more sticking and it came off easily.Really good qualityGreat purchase.

Wow, this has made the process of making ravioli SO much quicker and more efficient. It’s really easy to use, makes lovely, neat, consistent ravioli and actually it’s easier to make a larger quantity with less pasta than when you try to make it free hand. Would highly recommend this gadget!

Bought on Lightning Deal as a Christmas present for a couple keen on making their own pasta, particularly crab ravioli. Sturdy item, complete with little rolling pin and some recipes. Arrived in good time, well packaged. Feedback good.

Easy to use. Just make sure you flour it well and then the raviolis just fall out. A great bit of kit. If you want the perfectly fluted edges though, I think you need a fluted wheel to trim the raviolis when they have turned out.

This is a great quality tray. I only knocked a star off as the borders could be higher so you could cut the pasta when rolling the top sheet on. So super easy to use and gives lovely well filled ravioli every time!
