Exactly what we wanted, perfect size, except I wish the mesh had much smaller holes. Narrow knife ends, teaspoon handles and lots of other "narrow" things go straight through this mesh and if small items will usually fall to the bottom and sometimes I've had to lift the whole thing out and turn it upside down to get some things out. So it's worthwhile to remember to put the "thick end" down where you can but one can't do that with knives and a few other things. Anyway, it's cheap and small and tidy and hangs off the side of your washing up drainer basket, so I'm just docking 1 star and am happy with it now I'm used to its quirks.

We found the same problem other reviewers encountered - the handles of your cutlery slip through the wire weave of the basket. This was solved by draining the cutlery business-end down. The holes are too small for spoon bowls and knife blades, and the forks don't go all the way through. We have some chunky cutlery too, and that's just fine. The faintest hints of rust are showing in the bottom of the basket after about 6 weeks constant use, but this is probably due to my air drying the cutlery rather than drying it with a tea towel straight away. MUCH nicer to look at than the last cutlery drainer too.

It is handy used along with the stainless steel drainer basket. I had to bend its hooks some more to keep it hooked on.I find that it is detachable particularly useful as I put the larger items behind the main basket and the cutlery beneath it first before rinsing them. Then I rinse the pans etc and put them in the main basket, hook on the cutlery drainer on at the back, rinse the cutlery and put it in there. So it perfectly suits my requirement not to eat washing up liquid.

This item was delivered before the estimated delivery date; I am quite happy with it as the product is very sturdy, but I thought it would have fitted on to the new draining tray which I had purchased but it is too high and I just have to put it in the tray which tales up some of the slots on one side of the tray. That said, the item itself it good quality and the delivery times were perfect.

The only reason I have given this a four stars overall is because it would be better if it was stainless steel. I have had this before and they go rusty after a time but no one makes a stainless steel versionand thee design is ok although cutlery handles do slip through the sides if you don't put them in straight. Manufacturers please take note!

Very useful accompaniment to my other purchase the Addis drainer. Saves having cutlery lying all over the place after washing and it hangs neatly on the draining rack. Only downside is that cutlery with slim handles can slip through so needs to be either turned upside down OR something needs to be placed in the holder to stop this.

I think overall this is a good cutlery holder. it was too high to be moungted to my normal draining tray but i managed to hang it somewhere else and it works well. The holes at the bottom is a little big and small thin items like chopsticks fall through very easily. It can be fiddly as well to retrieve the stuff that falls through.

Other reviewers have been pretty unfair I reckon. If your cutlery falls through the bottom of this, you must have pretty thin cutlery. That said, it could do with a ring of wire below the current bottom ring, would make it even less likely for cutlery to fall through the side. However, for that price I'm pretty happy

Unlike many other reviewers, I am really pleased with this. I haven't had the problem of utensils falling through, but then again mine have rather thick, large handles. I love the added detail of the hooks to hold it in place in the dish rack. It is well made and has no sharp edges or obvious clumps of welding.

Works well. I do understand what a few people have said that depending on which way around you put utensils in, some do fall through the gaps in the mesh....but it’s not a major issue.I found it only really works if you hang it off the edge of a drainer - see attached photo. It’s not very stable on its own.

I love the matt colour, and it is not too shiny. It is quite resistant to rust... 1 year and a half and counting! It is not exactly the easiest thing to clean, especially inside because of the dividers, so you need to be a bit creative. For this price, it is a good investment, so I recommend it!

This works out very well because it has the hooks at the side which make it possible to fasten to the side of the dish drainer to keep it in place. Items can poke through if you don't take care putting them into the drainer but that's easily overcome and it means this is a very nice item.

Nice cutlery drainer bought to go with plate drainer ,but hook were too wide for it but never mind nothing a bit of discreet garden wire hasn't fixed ,find it very handy for most of my knives and forks but the teaspoons fall through it hence the four stars ,still will recommend

I use one of these baskets for cutlery and another one for my pan scourer and brush etc. They are brilliant and keep everything tidy with any drips falling on the draining board so no mess. These replaced my original ones that were about twenty years old!

I bought a dish drainer for when I washed the pots, but didn't realise it didn't have a cutlery section. I bought this hoping it would do the job, and it does excellently. It fits perfectly, as if it was made for the drainer, and holds plenty of cutlery.
