Works nicely with late 2012 iMac and the 8GB of Apple provided memory that was included with my iMac - no errors so far and I've been using it for 6 weeks or so now.I bought 2 lots of 8GB chips to extend RAM to 24GB on my system - the difference in using Virtual Machine software and speech recognition software is very noticeable.I did a fair bit of research into the benefits of C11 memory versus CL10 or CL9 memory and concluded that at best there is not much in it in terms of performance and that the various factors, including CPU and GPU type, mean that you need a heavy duty anorak to grasp the issues. The memory used by Apple that is included with an iMac is CL11 so, ultimately, I went this.I didn't go for the low power DDR3L version of this memory (aside from possible chipset and compatibility issues, the memory that Apple provides in the late 2012 base iMac is not low power memory so compatibility would be an issue).I was very careful when installing the memory to make sure that it was seated correctly but even so I was rewarded with the dreaded death beeps when trying to start the Mac. Faulty memory I though because I had been so careful to make sure the newly installed memory was seated correctly. I hadn't seated it correctly which just shows that you can't be too careful I guess.Ultimately I went for Kingston memory because I have had good previous experiences of their customer service in the past.

I bought these to boost my new 27" iMac from its stock 8GB. I could have specced the machine with more from Apple but frankly their prices are ridiculous - increase from 2x4GB to 2x8GB from Apple and they'll add 160 pounds to the cost of the machine (and keep the 4GB chips). Make that 4x8GB chips and they'll rip you off for 480 quid, because somehow chips three and four cost twice as much as chips 1 and 2.No, I can't figure that either. So instead, I bought these for 60 pounds per chip, so for 120 pounds above the base price of the machine, I have 24GB of RAM installed (2x8GB plus the original 2x4GB chips across the four slots).Lesson here is, don't buy memory from Apple, buy it from Amazon!Sorted.

I buy this to upgrade my macbook pro mid-2012 which had 4gb (2x2gb) ram memory to replace one of the module with it. Now my mac have 10 gb of ram and my application run more faster and i'm able to run more of them at the same time. While installing, everything went supper easy! I just remove one of my 2gb memory module and replace it with this one of 8gb. Then I reboot my mac and everything went as expected, my mac recognize directly the new module and now i'm a happy consumer!!!

This was a brand new Macbook pro late 2012 13" i5, so needless to say I didn't want anything to go wrong w/ this install. These things slid right in and were recognized right away..On top of that I did not purchase 2, I only purchased 1. So the rumors can be cleared up now. I have this 8GB alongside stock 2GB for a total of 10GB in my new Macbook and it works flawlessly! Great product!

Works a dream in my Mac Mini. I now have 16gb of RAM in my computer, which may be a bit overkill, but it runs very nicely. I don't necessarily recommend RAM as the first upgrade for any computer (you'd be better served getting an SSD), but this can make somewhat of a difference if you're prepared to pay for it.

very good product! Has boosted my late 2012 13" macbook pros performance a lot.Only word of caution is this is 1x8gb chip, not 2x4gb as i was expecting, however upon looking back at the post it clearly shows 1x8gb chip. Works fine alongside my current 2gb card.

I bought 2 of these for my 2012 Macbook Pro 15".Having 16GB of RAM made quite the difference and much cheaper than buying at macupgrades or other places.Plus the amazon customer support is just unrivalled.

I put these two 8G RAM on my MacBook Pro. It runs perfectly with even 3 Operating Systems running at the same time. The speed is much better than just having two 2G RAM...

Nothing more to say other than the above...except perhaps, how do Apple dare to charge so much for their modules?
