I purchased this as a download direct from the XBox store, hence why it does not show on here as a “verified purchase.”I have the previous KH incarnations on PS4 and enjoy them vary much, and this latest release (this time, for me, on XB1X) is no different. Once again you take control of Sora as he teams up with Goofy and Donald Duck to embark on many adventures. The graphics are great - not detailed in the way that, say, RDR2 or even GTA V is, but more cartoony, but still pleasing to look at. I play on a XB1X on a 55” 4K HDTV, but the graphics do not appear to be 4k enhanced. The gameplay and fighting mechanics are the same as the other games in this series,so those with experience of the previous games should be able to jump straight in. If you haven’t played any of the other KH games, then you might be a bit confused as to the storyline, though it should not spoil your experience. There are some things I do not like about the game:1). The music during gameplay - you can’t turn it off. After a while I found the constant background music to be quite annoying and distracting.2) The number and length of cutscenes - at times I had wondered whether I had in fact purchased a game or a movie. Quite frustrating. Fortunately you can skip them or reduce their length (full or abridged), and even select the types you see.3) This last one is just a vary minor niggle, a personal one, but I felt that Sora’s voice was too old for the look of the character. We are not told exactly how old Sora is in this game. He was 14 in the first game, and 15 in one of the sequels, so I am guessing he’s about 16 in this one. Voice sounds like an older teen.If you are a fan of Disney you’ll also like this game as there are plenty, and I mean PLENTY, of Disney characters that pop up throughout the game. The game map size is pretty good - not massive nor really open world, quite linear in fact, but the cute graphics make up for that. There appears to be an autosave feature, but to save manually you have to find save points throughout the game; but they do seem quite regular. Finally, this is a single player game; no co-op or online MP available. So, all-in-all, a great addition to the Kingdom Hearts series, and one that fans of the series will enjoy.

Love Kingdom Hearts, been waiting for KH3 for years and years. Didn't disappoint. The important thing is that Square Enix have kept the core mechanics of the gameplay at the heart of the experience, meaning those familiar with the KH franchise will feel right at home. But they've also added some great new gameplay functions (at times this can be a bit much, I often found I'd have 4-5 special moves available which could sometimes detract from combat) which make this feel fresh and exciting throughout. At times, the cinematics can be a bit too long for my liking. This is no surprise to fans of FF and KH as the story is complex and expansive requiring lots of explaining, but for the most part the playable sections are long and fun enough to offset any lengthy cut-scenes.I'd highly recommend KH3 to existing fans of the franchise, and to those who have never played, I would recommend all the same but also strongly recommend buying the first two, because once you've played this, you'll be dying to find out where it all began.

Not to go too deep but KH3 has been long awaited franchise since 2005 KH2, I loved the franchise since the beginning and will always will replay any KH game. Thanks for the remixes!Anyway, visually the game looks beautiful, it has upped the game with the unreal engine 4 graphics, character models looks pretty well rendered no complaints in the visuals. The story feels a little off, there isn't much of a start, middle, end point which left me pretty disappointed with this. Disney side of it just didn't connect with Sora and co.Combat was too much of a players choice, it gets a little annoying at some points.Do I recommend this game to newcomers? No,play the others first before this one otherwise you be more confused.Do I recommend this game for those who already played the other franchise?Yes, I still recommend it because it is still a fun game to play!

I have loved the Kingdom hearts franchise. I have played KH & KH2 when I had the PS2, (though I haven’t and would like to try Birth by sleep and Dream drop distance) but I still manage to keep with the story arc following the mass amount of Characters through out these games. So when it was announced that KH3 would be released I was extremely excited and brought this along with a PS4 i was happy to be playing Kingdom hearts once again, although I have no yet completed the game but in due time( been busy at work and the sun is coming out). Overall for any Kingdom hearts fans out there, you definitely love playing in the Disney worlds and enjoying the long but brilliant written “Xehanort” storyarc (btw which is the final part of the story arc)

This is another excellent chapter in the kingdom hearts game collection. On Ps4 the graphics are so detailed and clear. The cut scenes now play through automatically, where before on some you had to click x alot to to read what each character was saying. The cut scenes are also alot more detailed. The only downside is you have to gummi missions on the gummi ship to get to next place, which can be annoying if you want to just play the game. But there are a lot more extra hidden mini games to play as well. Anyone looking for game that has disney, final fantasy and anime i would recommend it and all the other kingdom hearts games available.

I have waited 13 years for this game and what a joy to play it is. You must play the whole series to understand the story (kingdom Hearts 1.5 and Kingdom Hearts 2.5) but you can still just jump in game if your not bothered by the story, you visit the world's of Disney's Olympus, Toy Story, Tangled, 100 Acre Woods, Frosen, Mongers Inc, Pirates of The Caribbian, Big Hero 6 and others, the game itself is a masterpiece and when you have finished you'll look back and think wow I really do think I have been in a Disney's film, and there mini games you can play. A must have it you like the Kingdom Hearts series and Disney.

Visually stunning game and I couldn't understand the negative reviews after being a massive fan of the first games when I was younger. However the game is unfortunately somewhat disappointing for the reasons pointed out by these reviews. The biggest disappointment for me was the combat, which is far too spammy with few tactics required by the player other than to mash two buttons until you win. Also the story is just ridiculous at this point, as if wasn't already bad enough before. Still well worth playing though if you're a Disney fan just to explore the detailed world's.

I've really enjoyed Kingdom Hearts 3. It's a great game. The only issues I've found were that it feels dated as it sticks to how the former games play in many ways. There could be improvements made to make the combat smoother. The other big issue is that it's really confusing at times unless you've played much of the series. There's a little movie to help people understand, but it doesn't help enough. They really should have written it to stand on it's own better. I've played Kingdom Hearts 1 and 2, but not the side games and even I was confused.

Highly recommend this game. I'm a massive fan of this series, been waiting for a long time for it, and it's most definitely worth the wait. Beautiful game, characters, story (I do recommend you have some knowledge of the previous games, it is explained in the game but only briefly, plenty of YouTube videos on it).I was a little disappointed we didn't get the DLC keyblade that other Amazon buyers got. But doesn't effect my views on the game. Any final fantasy, Disney or RPG fan, should definitely buy this.

Here we are, over a decade since the start and we finally have the conclusion to the Xehanort Saga. Oh boy, is this one epic. Incredible graphics, classic Kingdom Hearts writing that you can't help but smile at, familiar combat with new mechanics and a rocking soundtrack. However, it has flaws. The combat system can be very 'busy' with lots of stuff to keep track of, with Flowmotion, Focus, Airdashing, Form Changes - it can be overwhelming. However once you are past this, KH3 is so worth it.

Die hard fans will undoubtedly buy this so if you're reading this having played more than 2 other KH games, let's face it you're going to buy this no matter what I say. If you're new to the franchise, be prepared for a confusing story that has hit peak complexity, alongside a bevvy of cutscenes. Square Enix has finally achieved their goal of making a game that is more cutscene than gameplay. Gameplay is still solid though, graphics great. Little easy IMO but still a decent game overall

Growing up I played the original 1st and 2nd installments in the series on PS2. Since then there have been many additions to the Kingdom Hearts series scattered a cross several consoles. Unfortunately I couldn't keep up so I'd seriously recommend watching a short video on YouTube to bring you up to speed with the story so far...I thoroughly enjoyed travelling through worlds of Disney that I'd seen in videos. Combining this with characters from games I'd played growing up was breathtaking!

I played this game through without stopping for longer than enough time to go to work.It make sure you feel good. The story is a little convoluted in parts, but it’s a solid engine about hitting bits of animate evil with a key-shaped sword and saving everything as you do so. There’s like 30 hours of story there, followed by at least half that much exploration and other side quests. It’s really great to play, and feels fun to just punch stuff in. The characters are pretty neat too.

Decent is how I'd describe KH3 as someone who's played all the games and seen all the movies in the series. It does do a lot right. If you're new to the series I would recommend being caught up with the characters and details of previous games to keep with the story in this game. You can play this without doing so, if just to appreciate how gorgeous it looks and general gameplay. But, be prepared to not know an awful lot about what's going off and why things are happening.

Really fantastic game, couldn't wait to get it. It lived up to all my expectations. I've played all the games in the series and I found this game the most enjoyable to play. I think you could buy this game as a one off without having to have played previous kingdom hearts games, it's straight forward enough to pick up the story. If you are a fan of kingdom hearts and have not yet played this game, I would highly recommend playing this, you really won't be disappointed.
