This was superb value for money, and nearly perfect - the downsides were (a) it's pretty heavy (that's a plus point for slowing down your kid, but a minus point when the kid flakes out and you have to carry the balance bike AND the kid home...) and (b) the manufacturer has been a bit cautious in rectifying the finger-trap they designed into the steering. It's hard to describe but the turning fork assembly is done in such a way that there's a centimeter or so gap between the moving and static parts on both sides - if a small finger were inserted and the steering moved to full lock, the finger would be squashed. To fix this, the manufacturer has fitted thick foam padding in the gap.This is great at preventing fingers from getting in there, but restricts the steering dramatically. It still moves enough to steer at speed, but for paddling around in tight spaces it makes it VERY awkward. I took a scalpel to it and halved the thickness of the foam - fingers are still hard to get into the gap, if they do get in there there's still some foam padding, but the steering actually moves enough to turn around in tight spaces. The other mod I made was because the minimum height was still too high for my kid - I drilled a couple of extra holes and inverted the "swingarm" assembly to lower the seat further, worked just fine.My kid loved this balance bike, which drew admiring comments from all and sundry because it looks pretty cool. When he was taller, I restored the "swing arm" to its original arrangement, and he loved it for a good few more months, 'til eventually we got him a bike with pedals and this one sat neglected until I donated it to a friend with a younger kid, who also loved it.Balance bikes are perfect first bikes 'cos kids seem to learn to balance them without really trying, and it gives them a massive head start on pedal bikes.

This bike looks so good we nearly hung it on the wall instead of letting our son ride it! Our son was 3 when we bought it and infact it was a little heavy for him to hold up, particularly with the wheels being typical thin bicycle tyres. However as the months have passed he has grown into it and has no trouble keeping off the floor. I should also mention as it is painted and wooden framed, don't leave it out over night as the dew gets it and the paint begins to crave and crack (we made this mistake one night, but it hasn't got any worse). The handle in the frame is a great idea. Would recommend.

I bought this balance bike for my son's 2nd birthday. The description says suitable for most 2-5 year olds but it will be a bit big for him, this was as expected though due to the dimensions and seat height given. He will love the motorbike design though! The bike and fixings are excellent quality and very easy to assemble. Would have given an excellent rating if a stand was included as standard.

Being a motorbike rider ourself we got this for our grandsons as they like bikes, we are very very pleased with it better than we thought it would be, nice colours just like a honda bike very easy to put together i can recomend it for any buding rider, will def be getting another when our youngest is able to sit on one .

Bought this bike and another for my 3 year old twins, they are just about big enough to ride them and will get lots of use in the future! Quick delivery and easy to assemble even my husband could do it! The look just as good as the pictures if not better and love the fact you can customise with stickers

I bought this for my little boys 2nd birthday and he loves it! So pleased with delivery - such a good quality bike for the money! So much better than I expected! My little boy has only just turned 2 so it is a little bit high for him at the moment, but I'd give it a month or so & he'll be away on it!

This is a fantastic looking product and my grandson absolutely loves it. The overall finish is impeccable and the bike feels particularly robust. I'm sure this will take all the punishment a young child can give it and still look great. I was very happy with this.

Nice bike sturdy but paint chips easily- my son loves input non the less and it's great for the money we get so many compliments on it.Would give it 5 stars if the pain was sturdier - it's still wonderful tho

Great look really good price and well worth the fun my son gets out of this bike.Its ideal for learning how to balance but downside no brakes so be warned if you want to go out where they're hills.

This is a quality bit of kit. The bike is well made and my boy loves it! Although he is still a little small for it as he's short for his age (2) I put him on it and ride him around he loves it.

Bought for grandson for christmas so he has a motorbike like grandad. Pleased with the way it looks and hope he gets loads of pleasure from it when santa delivers it.

I would recommend this for all lively children. My two year old grandson loves to whizz around on this. Excellent for balance and motor skills.

This bike is brilliant my son flys on it. Also he went straight from this bike to a peddle bike with ease ill recommend this toy to everyone
